I think if TPTB redeem Belle's character BIG time and gives us good writing then we can root for our couple again. Heck if TPTB redeem all the characters and give us the couples we want the ratings will better. So will redeeming Belle's character and good writing make you root for Shelle again?

The ONLY thing that could possibly make any real impact on me would be for Belle to have an absolute, utter breakdown! I want to see her an absolute wreck with Hope, desperate, irrational and completely and totally broken. That’s the ONLY way I would even CONSIDER being open to this pairing anymore.

Same here! It would take some incredibly good writing and lots of Belle regret and remorse for me to root for Shelle again. It could happen though, and a small part of me dares to hope it dose.

MM plays plays emotion very well. It's possible that she could play this breakdown in a way that makes me sympathize with her again. If I see true remorse and regret, and she expresses it to Shawn, I could possible root for Shelle again. Of cours she'd have to tell Phildo where to go!

You know, if this plays out right it could possibly be very good timing for Shelle to be the November wedding.

Well if Belle really breaks down and tells Hope that she's really sry, and just wasn't thinking when she did that with Philip!

And go to Shawn and tell him how sry she is and she'll never do it again, then maybe i'll forgive her!

after careful consideration I think that the question is moot. We are asking for good writing...something they haven't been capable of doing thus far so why start now.

Bottom line is Hogan could pimp Philip as the president and Belle as the first lady and I STILL would NOT root for Phelle. And after watching their kiss, it only make sme against the Philip/Belle pairing more. I honestly didnt see chemistry beyond force. I love Jay and Martha seperately, but together they have absolutely NOTHING on Jay/Nadia & Martha/Brandon.

So thats what I'm rooting for, from day one I starting watching, continued watching, and still watch...that's for Shelle so no lame *** writer's horrid writing is going to sway me. I have more self respect than that.

I'm not sure we can depend on good writing, but we can count on the everlasting support of Shelle's fanbase. We've watched them lose their virginities to others and marry others, so we most certainly can weather yet another "storm"! I think we all need to put our disappointment aside and try our damndest to remain vigilant and loyal to a couple we've loved for 8 long years and a pair of actors that bring magic to our screens!

I am still rooting for them and I guess we will see what happens in the episodes to come.

After Belle told Phillip of all people she resented Shawn for the way there life was on the run I do not think I can ever forgive her.

Yeah, the writing sucks, certainly hasn't been enough of Shelle on my TV, but way too much of Phillip and Belle.

Personally, I think this has turned into the Sami show recently. She's great but I think I've seen her every single day for months now! Bring back the rest of the crew and let's get a show going again!

Shelle thru thick and thin for me......think of life, we all go thru ups and downs with our significant other. How would life be if we gave up on each other just because we didn't agree with what one person said or done at a particular moment.

I agree with what you said however this has been 8 years of waffling...I'm sick of my time being taken advantage of...my main way to show dissatisfaction is to turn off the TV...and that I do.

Right now I can't see how the writers can redeem Belle, but we'll see. I sure won't start rooting for Phelle, that's all I know. They make me sick.

It's Belle that needs the redeeming not Shelle...the Sh part of Shelle is fine indeed.
