I think they have both lost their minds!!Yes, I'm in OR...my project is kinda of a database coversion, my company was bought by a bank & we are changing over to their system so we have to recode a bunch of records so that it can be changed in the new system, if that makes senses.
I think the Brady sisters have a case of having feelings for 2 different men no matter how wrong or right it is. I think it's kinda of ironic that they are making their stories pretty similar right now since Belle & Sami have been pretty opposite.

There are over 10,000 records to change so it's very tiring but we have alot of people working on it so it's not too bad but I'll be happy when it's over.
People's motivations on soaps can change on a dime so to me it makes sense that one minute someone can be bad & the next minute they can be good. I don't think Belle has done as many bad things as Sami has done in her time so her pairing with Phillip doesn't make as much sense as Sami's with EJ (they are each others match good, bad & all the grey inbetween, jmo). Mostly I think that Hogan can't write an original story to save his life so he's stuck recycling stories.

That is a lot of records. But with a lot of people working on it, it should go pretty fast.
Finishing a big project like that always feels good!That is very true. And you are right. Belle has definitely not done as many bad things as Sami. But one thing I will say about Sami is that she has NEVER cheated on her man! Whomever she is with..and there have been many over the years..she always remains faithful! That is one great thing about her! And IA with what you said about Belle being basically good, so having her with Phil doesn't make sense. And I respect your opinion about Ejami. I just can't agree with it. Lucas can be pretty devious when he wants to be. Just like Sami. Imo...EJ is pure evil whereas Sami is just her own worst enemy. She really isn't a bad person. But I definitely agree about Hogan!! He seems to have no originiality at all!!

I've noticed the same thing at times. Someone actually started a thread the other day about the similarities between Phelle and Ejami. It's scary how much alike those two couples are! Hogan really is running the show into the ground. So sad!

Sami, Lucas & EJ have all done bad things to each other & other people...so I don't think one is worst that the other, to me it's more about what is the better fit character & story wise. I don't expect people to agree about EJami cause it's all about personal preference, I appreciate people being open to the idea or at least being able to talk respectfull about it, agree to disagree. Belle has been a "goody two-shoes" for a long time that maybe her romp with Phillip is Hogan's way of jazzing up her character? I don't know...just think it's weird that they have her pine for Shawn while married to Phillip & now on the verge of marrying Shawn is pining over Phillip...don't go with the story. Hogan needs to be gone now & bring in someone that knows the characters & the storylines.

I saw that thread as well...I do think there are similarities, alot has to do with the writing.

You're right. They have. The only reason I say EJ is worse is because, imo, the things he has done to others are far worse. And he seems to have no remorse for what he does. Sami and Lucas more or less just harmed each other. They haven't done much to anyone else. Except for when Sami drugged Austin of course. I don't expect everyone to like Lumi either. But like you, I like it when I can talk to someone from another fan base openly and honestly about why I like Lumi without being bashed. There is no reason to get on someone's case because they have a different opinion, or they see things differently! ITA on that! You could be right about why Hogan is doing this to Belle. My problem with it...it doesnt "jazz up" her character at all!! It just makes her seem very wishy washy and a s***! Hogan needs to go. ICAM.

Im not the least bit surprised about those God awful spoilers, Im not even going to take the time to worry about it. It has now become typical Belle to think about PHilip when shes with Shawn.

Good point! I would be able to accept it a lot better if it was a new character too. But considering her history with Phil...it really doesn't make any sense!

Yes, EJ has done bad things, to a point I think he does have remorse for them. It's the struggle of his "Dimera" nature (living up to the expectations from Stefano & how he was raised) vs his love for Sami...it's like what he said to Stefano on Monday "maybe if you hadn't kept me so close, I would be more human". EJ getting shot is the beginning of his redemption, jmo. To each their own on who they like but there should be no reason to be bashed for it. I'm sure you see things about Lumi that I don't & visa versa about EJami. It's the difference that makes things interesting so I don't mind talking about it. I respect where you are coming from

To me, EJ is a bad boy with a good heart...I don't want him to extremely good or bad...somewhere in that nice grey area because I like his edge. You know what's funny...after it was revalied that EJ was a Dimera, I did think that TPTB were trying to make EJ & Sami into the next Stefano & Marlena but as their story has gone on, I don't think that would be the case. I think they are setting it up for Stefano & EJ to go toe to toe over Gianni & Sami. I don't think I could see Phillip kidnapping Belle but givin then writing I wouldn't rule it out...Ha! I have to say though when EJ & Phillip broke into Bope's house to get up Billies security system, that was pretty funny.
