If Mohinder's power is his blood (and its a real power like everyone else) then Peter is also a walking cure for the disease, is he not? This is all assuming that he actually has a power of course (mohinder)...

Which could make Peter the only hero immune to the virus?

mohinder does not have an "ability" like the others do. all the others power stems from a very specific spot in their brain (ask sylar). mohinders cure comes from the anti-bodies in his blood, not from something his brain is performing.

peter does not have the cure to the virus.

I don't think it's a power, power. I mean, that Peter could absorb. Mo doesn't have the SG trait. But if it were, then, yeah, Peter should have it too.

I dont think there is any answer to this, only speculation. Its quite possible that his brain produces the antibody.

i guess so but thats stretching it to fit into your theory. the answer as far as im concerned is no. plain and simple.

Stretching what? The only known person on the planet with this antibody to fight the virus killing SGs, pretty much indicates that he IS an SG in my opinion.

its a stretch because its totally different than how ALL the other's abilities work. mohinder told molly that when a child is sick, sometimes another child is born after them would have the anti-bodies to cure the sick child. when mohinder explained that he made it sound like something that is common in science, something that is understood, not some sort of special ability he acquired.

Like parents who have a baby hoping it will be a match for a bone marrow transplant for an older sibling. I've heard of that.

It makes him unique, but the show seems to be going in the direction that SGs aren't just people with just any kind of unusual or unique mutation, but people with a very specific genetic marker. It's technically possible that Mohinder's anti-bodies are as a result of a power (in which case, why only one? can he create anti-bodies for anything?), but it seems unlikely.

why would peter be immune? this makes no sence...

He would be if Mohinder was an SG. Mohinder is the cure. Since Peter has been around Mohinder, theoreticly he would have absorbed Mohinder's power thus being able to cure himself. Since I dont believe Mohinder is an SG, Peter in my mind is susceptible to the Shanti virus....Unless of course Claire's ability prevents him from getting sick?
