Full Version: Molly is the Boogieman
NBC > Primetime > Heroes > General Heroes Discussion
Jarune
My Theory is that molly is the boogieman, she is still very young and here powers are not developed, most heroes develop their powers in there (late) teens.

She has nightmares because here powers are beginning to evolve and she doesn't want to face them.

(i could remeber reading a thread about the heroes comic, on the cover hiro or mr.bennet was facing a huge green monster with ultimate power, can't remember the name of the monster though). Anyone got any ideas ?

Sylar is the boogieman. Parkmans father is the nightmare man. The monster was probably uluru.

Is it just me or does 75% of the population here not understand who Molly called the "Boogieman."

In my opinion, anyone who says something stupid like this should have all their theories shot to pieces. I mean... watch the show or read the boards before trying to sound smart and instead of looking like a fool.

Sorry... I've only been around for a little while and this has been a peeve of mine.

And I think this is a bad theory anyway. Are you watching the same show we are? The Nightmare man (aka WTS) is someone real. Molly picked him out of the photo, it's Matt's father.

Sorry Jarune, but I'm not buying it. As pointed out above, the boogieman was Molly's name for Syler. The Nightmare Man is the one she says is worse than Syler, who was identified last week as Matt's father. Molly already has a power - locating people. What do you think it would be evolving into? We don't know what powers the Nightmare Man has, although it seems to be something mental. I just can't see any way to make your theory make any sense.
Jarune
The Nightmare man is Matt's father
The Boogieman is someone else, and definitly not Sylar

Uluru was the monster i meant. I think it could be growing inside of Molly.

In season 1 sylar came to kill molly, the house looked like a slaughter house. I don;t think sylar was the one that killed everonye. Sylar nevers trys to kill someone when a lot of people are around, he does it quick and fast. the chararter Uluru will be build up to make a season finale in season 4 or something

OMFG...

Uluru=Molly? Ha ha ha... very funny. Because this must be a joke.

Sylar=Boogieman. This isn't a theory, it's already a fact. Molly located him last season.

I am eagerly waiting for the arrival of Uluru. I really hope I don't have to wait 3 years for him (or her biggrin.gif )

The Boogieman is Sylar!

I think the "nightmare man" is NOT NECESSARILY MATT'S DAD.

Molly identified SOMEONE in the pic of the 12 as the "nightmare man". Things are not necessarily what they appear to be.

Molly is a child and perhaps she sees Nathan's scared face as the "nightmare man".

The writers already established that "Urulu" will not show up in this series as a threat to the heroes.

Not Molly. I'd bet my left hand on that one.

Umm no. Sorry to burst your bubble kiddo but it has already been confirmed within the show that Sylar IS the Boogieman. No doubt about it.

Matt identified his father and pointed him out to Molly. Molly then clearly stated that was the nightmareman. Read this page. http://heroeswiki.com/Molly

QUOTE
The Kindness of Strangers
Molly's nightmares are getting worse. Matt finds a photograph of the original group of twelve elders that Angela Petrelli and Kaito Nakamura were involved with and learns that his father was one of them. When Matt tries to get Molly to find him, she panics and reveals that Mr. Parkman is the being who can see her when she looks for him. Molly tells Matt she'll find his father. She finds the apartment then collapses in shock. Matt reads her mind and she shouts for him to help her.

Molly is just an innocent with an ability that can be used for evil if she ends up in the wrong hands (and was). The murder of her family where Matt first heard her thoughts, her rescue from the Company, the bout with the virus and now the nightmares are essentially just a way to include her in the show. It's much like how Ando has appeared so far this season. His appearances are basically trying to find a sword, getting yelled at for playing video games, one profound comment about needing to talk to Hiro too and reading the scrolls.

She told us at least TWICE that MR. PARKMAN is DEFINITELY the Nightmare Man. This isn't guesswork. She said, when discussing him, "That's the Nightmare Man."
