YAY! Tonights The Night. Its Kind Of Sad Actually. The Waiting Over The Summer For New SVU... I May Cry.

Hey! I didn't know! lol No but seriously, I couldn't tell so I'm glad that someone was able to pause it. I'm really upset that it's ending tonight! I don't know what I'm going to do with myself on Tuesday nights now.

I know. I am sad to but...there were a ton of breaks this season. One month of old episodes, one or two new ones. Another month of old episodes, one new one, another 2 weeks of old episodes and then maybe one or two new ones. If anything, the rest of the season was like practice for everyone. LOL!

Bad News.... I Just Found Out I Cant Watch It Tonight. For Those Of You Who Care (Or Those Of You Who Are Bored) This Is Why... Around Thrusday Our Satellite Dish Went Out. We Were Supose To Get A New One Yesterday But It Wasnt Sent To Us. So Today I Was Supose To Go To My Aunts House To Watch It But Then My Mother Desides To Be "Tired" And Will Not Drive Me To Her Home. She Would Come Get Me But She Is Still Not Allowed To Drive From The Surgery. So Thats My Sad Story... Enjoy The Show.

Oh no no, it's not wishful thinking. They didn't kiss infront of us. But he's got his arm hooked in hers. He was trying to call her. Then mister sexy was like I can't go home they know my address. Liv let him know that they know hers too. But that really means you can't get in my bed that easily. This tells me they have been dating just a little while.

As someone who has probably seen every episode of SVU, I just want to say that this episode was, in my opinion, one of the best episodes of the entire series. I really felt all of the emotions, and I even cried a little bit at the end seeing everyone being so torn up by everything that was going on. It really brought me back to that feeling the show had when it first came on.....showing just how unbelievably hard it is to work in that unit and that even the strongest people make mistakes.

I'm going to be GLUED to my tv screen next fall. GOSH GOSH GOSH!!!!!! Ugh.....WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN?!?!?!?!?!

And Mark Isham rocks my socks off.

That is one of the problems I had with the episode. I knew from that conversation that she had been raped. But if her father was also Darius' father why didn't that show up on Warner's DNA workup on his DNA. She noticed the DNA oddity in Families where a brother and sister created a child.

darius dna is half of his mothers and half his fathers..... his mother already has half of his fathers.... so there would not be an oiddity like a child having the same dna of that which comes form a brothjer and sister

Actually Casey's performance in the courtroom was horrible. Granted we didn't see the whole trial. But she did not do her job well. My throat was hoarse was yelling "Objection".

Yeah, I thought that was kinda random of the judge. Interesting how that keeps on coming back to haunt Elliot.

i haven't seen this ep yet - still have an hour. alas, i've been reading the above posts, but it's kind of hard for me to get the full effect, so i will watch in awe and have the box o'tissues at my side.

re: your question, i kind of thought about that, too, and had mentioned it in a way earlier post on another thread that maybe the baby isn't elliot's. maybe the writers let kathy have some fun and have a lover on the side? it would make for an interesting story line, a good dilemma for elliot to deal with - does he go back to kathy because he truly loves her or out of obligation?, and then good drama when he finds out it's not his...THEN (wishful shipper moment) E/O, having worked out their respective crap, can finally be together. ok, ok, do not throw things at me...

looking forward to this finale, for sure. don't worry, before you know it, it will be september and season 9 will have begun....

Ok, now that I'm over my Olivia-has-a-boyfriend high, i am having questions about the eppisode.

****SPOILERS AHEAD****

First off I though that her first husband was just abusive and beat and raped her. Now it was her father. I agree that DNA such as that would have shown up in Warner's findings.

The cop that fed the info to the defense, he said he put in his papers so he is set. They couldn't still fire him and then take his pention?

I do think that Casey will be just fine. Not more than a slap on the hand. I'm sure Cragen being the protective Daddy figure to the SVU members will inform the respectable peoples about the defense being fed classified or department files. With that having been said I'm sure Cragen will get cleared with the revenge plot against him. Maybe.

With all the clearing in the air. Olivia is just fine. Simon is innocent and that almost makes his bailing non-existant. Right? I didn't think that was going to come back and bite her at all.

Why is Elliots daughter getting arrested now? Aren't there statute of limitations on these things. Aren't papers not on file so therefore what are they going to do, refile on memory? I think Judge Donnely can be that "good lawyer" she recomended Elliot get. She's done it before.

My next concern is who the heck wrote Casey that message, "Da Branch office ASAP!!!" um, they need to send that person back to grammar school. "Da" "Da" that is just NOT exeptable. THAT having been said, I would like to use this time to say that I am not the best at grammer, nor spelling so please excuse me for any problems I may have with that. Call me the H word if you must.

Now for my overall view. I haven't been this angry about the outcome of an eppisode since the Dean Cain eppisode. I was MAD, then. I am upset, now. That means they did their job. I have had one or two moments this season where I was upset about the way the show was done and less about the subject matter of the eppisode. It is nice to have SVU bring it back. I'm glad that I feel something over the inside story again.

Oh, and that Simon, I don't like him. I awwwwed him when he tried to help his sister but i think that was just the writing not the acting. He annoys me like a little brother. Oh......ok....well then I guess he's doing his job correctly then.

The baby is Elliot's. We have been told that he is the father by several sources including Neal Baer.

I'm still trying to find the statuate of limitations for DUI in NY. But it can be tolled in view of the police cover-up.
There are several other possible traffis violations that Kathleen can be charged with. She was a minor driving at night within NYC city limits(?).
Elliot needs to find a good lawyer.

It doesn't seem to have been a secret. Cragen knew about it right after it happened. Finn knew about it in Venom. Donnelly knew about it in Responsible.
