It would be nice if NBC would release a new ER Soundtrack, this time, containing the song that was featured in many episodes= the piano theme that played in Season 8, episode 21 "On The Beach" when Mark Greene died. This is such a beautiful song and I would love to have it avaiable on CD or download at itunes. I don't know the name of the artist or title of the song but if anyone does and knows if it is available please let me know. If it's not available it sure would be nice for NBC to release it finally after all this time.

I'm new to the board, but have been watching ER since it's beginning. Sorry to see it coming to an end, but I'm sad to say that it's probably for the best, because the show is a far cry from what it was years ago. But enough of that, what I really want to know is who recorded the version of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" in the episode where Anthony Edwards character died. I just love it, only hear it on the radio occasionally, and would love to download the song if I could only find it.

I hate to be redundant if this was asked before, but the episode in which Carter and Kellie Martin's character were stabbed, there was a up tempo song playing as they both layed in the exam room on the floor. Can anyone tell me what the title of that song was? And wasn't David Krumholtz from that FBI show on the other network the guy who actually played the part of the patient who actually stabbed them?.................I can't believe it's ending although after all of the cast changes, it still to me occupied my 10pm slot on Thursday's........Thank goodness for TNT for the re-runs

David Krumholtz is now on the show "Numbers" and the song was “Battleflag” by Lo-Fidelity AllStars.

I have to say that last scene is still to this day probably the most scariest and one not seen comin scene ever on ER...

I just finished listening to Don Henley's "Taking You Home" a few minutes ago. I've always loved that song. And everytime I listen to it, I can't help but think of ER: the episode when Carol landed at Doug's house in Seattle and ran to him, as "Taking You Home" played in the background. Beautiful scene and very appropriate song for the scene.

On the "Music Of ER" thread, someone asked about the "Chicago" song that was on tonight's Retrospective that aired just before the final episode. The message board would not let me reply on that thread, so I started this new thread.

The name of the song is "Chicago" and it is by one of my favorite bands: The Uglysuit.

I was blown away to hear that song on ER... it's such a perfect song for the show, but I never expected to hear it on an actual episode (well... the retrospective anyway).

I've been looking everywhere for the music played in the background of many of the last episodes of ER. One of them is the song that plays towards the end of some of the episodes; most specifically, the one playing in the background when Abby leaves the ER and puts her nametag up on the wall.

What is the song played while Greg Pratt, Chen and a former patient named Elgen fight to drive away from a man shooting at them? The song was playing in Pratt's car in season 10's finale, drive, and season 11's premiere, one for the road. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!
