In the episode on Saturday night "Stalked" there was a stunningly beautiful cello, piano piece played at the end. I'm fairly good at recognizing classical pieces, but there wasn't enough for me to know the piece.

It sounds a lot like Mendolssohn to me. Does anyone know what piece was being played?

i'm not sure what episode what shown on that night, but are you sure it was stalked? i know in surveillance in season 3 there's a cello performance at the end? is it played at a concert or just non diegetically?

Do you all remember last year's SVU promo for season 8? remember how they had this great song that went something like, "people have always looked for heroes...."? Well I'm wondering anyone knows where I could find that song, who sings it, the name of the song, or if that promo is up on anyone's website where I could go watch it? Thanks

I can't see that fitting into the story lines.. but if for some reason they did, I'd probably end up in tears from laughter. The idea of Fin breaking out rapping is hilarious.

I can't really see Fin as a rapper! That would be funny, with his badge like around his neck like he sometimes wears it ... that's his bling!

I like Ice-T's show on VH1. He teaches kids to rap and there are from this really fancy private school. One of the girls was really ignorant about black culture and she was actually quite offensive (I was offended by her and I'm white!). But I was surprised at how nice and good Ice was with the kids even when that one girl was being a tard. He's sooooooooooo good with kids. And a great teacher. I like him even more now!

Ice-T rocks. I remember when he first showed up as Fin. My husband was watching and I said, "OH COOL!! That's Ice-T! He's on the show?"

Husband was like, "WTF? What kind of name is iced tea?" Husband totally didn't get it. Had to explain. I love his character and the way he and Munch crack on each other. "He's my Jew."

I think its great he is taking the time to work with out-of-touch rich white kids. (IMHO)

if u have a record button on ur cell phone that has ringtone capabilities...u can just record it and Set as ringtone...if not google it...there are a ton u can buy them...

i think elliots theme song should be " where'd you go" by fort minor tht hits the nail rite on the head . in tht song it discribes like noy being home for ur family and stuff and what Kathy probily goes though . but a good l+o svu or another elliot theme song should be Kryptonite by 3 doors down ... what do u guys think ??

As most of you board members know already I am a huge fan of Ellio/Olivia. When I got my new ipod I had so much fun downloading songs onto it once I figured out how to do it of course. I noticed that certain songs that came on reminded me of my favorite detectives and it made me smile.

All of these songs and more always makes me laugh and smile because it really shows how much I have connected the show into my life. SVU has been the greatest part of my life and so has music. I haven't decided yet if I'm a shipper or not, because I kind of want E/O to get together, but at the same time I don't. I guess it's the shipper in me that thinks of Elliot and Olivia when I hear this song. Like I said though, I'm conflicted about them getting together.
