NBC Promo clip for 14.10 - This is pretty interesting, gang.

PS: I assume this is a valid clip to post, since the NBC logo is big in the upper corner of the screen, but please let me know if I'm mistaken. This was too good not to share.

There's a few more clips on this page, as well.

Clip - Abby and Neela
G-Unit
Yeah I saw this clip last night and was going to post it but I wasn't sure if we were allowed to. Thanks for going ahead and posting it Galaxy. smile.gif It is obvious that Neela still harbours guilty feelings about what happened to Ray despite how she reacted to Katey. Abby's comments really struck a nerve and Neela took it personal. This is a good sign and should lead to some very emotional scenes during Neela and Ray's reunion. By the way, this is the third time Ray has been mentioned this season. I'm wondering if we are going to get another scene later on in this episode with maybe Neela calling Ray or looking at a picture of him/the CD. It is Christmas after all. I can only hope. smile.gif
sem1973
What exactly was said between Abby and Neela in that scene? For some reason I am having audio issues with my computer. I hope it doesn't last. I can only view the scene and I would really appreciate someone being able to tell what they said (especially Neela). Thank you!!!!

Neela caught Abby drinking and offered to help her but Abby being the mean drunk she is blew her off. Neela told her to think about what she'd be doing to baby Joe and Luka and that if she loved them she wouldn't do this. Abby got angry and accused Neela of being too childish and said that Neela should not be lecturing her about love. She insulted Neela by telling her that she knows Ray wishes he never met Neela. Neela was clearly shaken by this and she told Abby that she doesn't live here any more and to get out.

I'm so happy that Ray is mentioned in this episode!! That gives me some hope that the producers are still thinking about Ray and leaving the door open for his return. I would love for Neela to look at the CD Ray gave her and maybe listen to some of the songs and hear the one that he wrote about her.

Dang that was harsh Abby and how would she know what Ray feels? They never talked about his feelings for Neela once from my memory. Of course I'm sure she is just saying that out of drunk frustration because she didn't like Neela telling her the truth. I hope you are right G and that this means more mention of Ray from Neela and anyone else for that matter but especially Neela. Thanks for giving me the 411 G. I appreciate it. A Christmas phone coversation (instigated by Neela) would be great and we wouldn't even have to see Ray (though that would have been heaven). I'd love to hear raw emotion in her voice as she talks to him and wishes him a Merry Christmas.

Wow!! What a great clip! Thanks, Galaxy, for posting it.

I agree that it's a very good sign that Ray is still being mentioned -- to me, it means that TPTB still want to invoke the memory of Ray in viewers' minds, which could be an indication of their plan to bring him back.

Earlier, I agreed with those who said it was good that Neela stood up to Katey and said she wouldn't take the blame for what happened to Ray. At the same time there's been no indication in S.14 that she felt something...anything...sadness, regret...about him and what he meant to her. But now I'm encouraged because I feel Abby's harsh comment will serve as the impetus to get Neela to really think about Ray and take the initiative to make things right. Neela was clearly shaken by Abby's words. In keeping with her usually "flight" tendency, perhaps we didn't see Neela express some emotion over Ray because she was avoiding facing it, just like she avoided coming to terms with Michael's death and how she really felt about him v. Ray.

On another note, based on this clip, does this mean Neela did know about Abby's drinking issues? If so, then I'm really confused about why Neela did not intervene more when she saw how altered Abby was at the bar -- all she asked her was if she was driving home. Seems odd coz Neela's acting a bit clueless when asking Abby 'what's going on here?'
G-Unit
Neela never knew that Abby was an alcoholic. Nobody knew for the exception of Coburn and Luka(of course he doesn't even take it seriously). Neela was not acting clueless; she was clueless. But that scene was to show that Neela finally put two and two together and realized that Abby has a problem. Her reaction to Abby's drunkedness at Ike's was no different than anyone else's. Nobody knew what to think of her behaviour because noone was aware of her alcoholism.
LGBIGRED
I WISH THEY WOULD LEAVE NEELA AND RAY AND LUKA AND ABBY ALONE. THEY LOOK GOOD TOGETHER AND ER NEEDS TO ALLOW SOME HAPPY COUPLES IN THE SHOW. ALSO JOHN KNEW THAT ABBY HAD A DRINKING PROBLEM AND A FEW OTHERS KNEW. THEY NEED TO LET HER GROW UP AND TAKE CARE OF HER FAMILY

Yeah, I always thought Neela never knew but her behavior in this clip threw me a bit -- I mean, Neela's somewhat understated in her reaction (as Neela always is), so in one way, it wasn't clear whether Neela knew about her problem but didn't realize it had started again until she caught Abby with the empty bottle...or, as you said, she was realizing this for the first time.

Abby's defensiveness is jarring, huh? (Props to Maura Tierney!). Whoa. I'm just glad the show is invoking Ray's name in a high profile episode such as this. smile.gif
kakaka
I was happy that mentioned Ray in that episode. Maybe it is true that Zabel wants to bring Shane back.

I think Neela never felt the tragedy of Ray, she was always passive to everything. Maybe after Abby said, Neela wakes up and see that she has blames partly of the accident of Ray. But the times I thinking: will it be that Neela really likes Ray?

The only thing that I want is that Shane returns.I just hope the scriptwriters' strike ends soon, because we will be without Ray in Christmas.

sem1973
I too have wondered just what Neela feels for Ray? I mean it was obvious the attraction was there in Season 12 and parts of 13 but is that all she felt for him? We know Ray feels a lot more than just an attraction for Neela but I wonder if it is really reciprocated on Neela's end. I would like to believe she does but with Neela you can't always tell just exactly what she is feeling and thinking. It can be very frustrating. Any thoughts?

Hey guys, I think that this roomie conversation might be inappropriate for this thread and we may have to take this to the roomie thread. However, I will give a brief answer to your question sem. Yeah I can see why so many people always wonder about Neela's true feelings. I think the problem is that: 1. Neela has always been a very private and inward person. She's been known to be timid and hesitant to speak her mind in certain situations. 2. Her marriage to Gallant really caused problems for her expressing her feelings to Ray. I think it bothered her that she developed strong feelings for Ray when she was married. This is quite natural and expected for any human being in that situation of course. I think she might have fallen for Ray much deeper and made a greater connection with him than she did her husband. I think that really bothered her and racked her with guilt.
sem1973
G's right. Let's move this discussion to the Roomie thread. I'll see you all over there.

<h1>ER cast celebrates 300th milestone

The star-studded cast of top US hospital drama ER celebrated the show's milestone 300th episode in true Hollywood style.

A special party took place for the cast in Hollywood last month, and now just ahead of the episode's screening on TV's across the US, a special Q&A for die-hard fans has taken place in Beverly Hills.

Speaking before meeting with fans, British actress Parminder Nagra (who plays Neela) said she was proud to be a part of the long-running medical drama: "I'm just so proud to be part of such an institution, I always loved the show before I ever came on to it so to suddenly be walking in the corridors that everyone else had been walking in was just amazing."

ER is the most Emmy-nominated program of all time - its 120 nominations surpassing the 117 bestowed on Cheers.

Maura Tierney, who plays Abby, has been with the show since 1999 and is one of the longest-lasting cast members. But even after nine years, the actress says she still finds the show fresh.

She said: "It's been such a long time but it's a really great ride. It's a really fun job, it's very challenging and we love each other."

Linda Cardellini (who plays Samantha Taggart) admitted the show is a joy to work on: "I didn't think I would stay so long, but I fell in love with the whole place, everybody who works on the show, everybody who I see everyday - I absolutely love it."

But Dr Archie Morris, played by Scott Grimes, insisted he was the only one who seemed to get a bum deal on the drama: "I've gone naked several times and those are my favourite memories. For some reason whenever a nude scene comes up they always give it to me."

John Stamos, who plays Dr. Tony Gates, said ER's enduring appeal is simple: "There's always something relatable and human about every single episode."

I'm glad they mentioned Ray but boy I sure didn't expect it to be in the form of an insult. It clearly upset Neela and there is obviously some unresolved issues between Neela and Ray that need to be touched on. Let's hope we see that in the new year.
Wow! This was a very touching episode. The down syndrome kid reuniting with his father storyline really touched my heart. It was the perfect Christmas story. It's sad that his mom died but I'm glad his dad is going to step up and be the father he wasn't able to be before. I like how the storyline had parallels for both Morris and Pratt's story arcs in terms of their relationship with their fathers and also Pratt's mother dying. That Luby scene really brought me to tears. I'm so glad Abby admitted that she needs help from Luka and I'm also glad she's not letting Luka blame himself. I'm glad she's taking responsibility and going to get help. I hope there will be a happy Luby ending. I love the advice the chaplain gave to Abby about asking for help. She is a very interesting character when she's not getting high. Sam sure is stepping up to the plate. I like the idea of her being a flight nurse; it kinda fit's her personality. I see a romance between her and Gates looming in the background. The Harold scene when he sat on that guy to help Gates was just classic. Very good episode. One of the best so far this season. smile.gif
Trainerjen
After this episode, I have hope. smile.gif

I thought it was terrific. Abby FINALLY admitting what was going on to Luka. I'm glad she didn't tell him about Moretti right away. She needs to work her program and get to a place where she can honestly tell Luka what happened and make amends for it. I loved how vulnerable she was in telling him that she needs his help. Very wonderful, and very REAL.

I'm also glad Luka just came out and asked her if she still loves him. Loved her response to that. I'm just glad all around, I guess. biggrin.gif

They've still got a lot to work through, but at this point, at least she's realized how badly she needs help. She's been through it before, and she knows what needs to be done. I'm proud of her.

Actually though, I'm pretty sure Neela knew about Abby's alcoholism. No, Neela wasn't around for the first round. But Neela is one of Abby's best friends. They were also roommates. At some point I'm sure Abby told Neela about her problem. That's what recovering alcoholics do...they explain their problem to friends and family so they have someone to hold them accountable. So while Neela wasn't THERE, I think she knew. Just my two cents on it. tongue.gif

Overall, this was a terrific episode. One of the best of the season so far. Loved Morris smacking Frank's hand at the last second to get to 300. Priceless. laugh.gif
Tiger Lily
I enjoyed several things about this episode. The scenes with Luka and Abby were both intense and tender. I foresee them getting through this as a stronger couple. It really hit me how much they contribute to the show, both individually and together. If there is a Season 15, I hope they can at least participate in a limited way.
Good to see both the light and sensitive sides of Morris tonight. I really can't believe how much he has grown on me. His scene where he talked about his father with the Down's Syndrome patient was touching.
Dubenko---the early scene where we saw the "rear view" of his hospital gown--I laughed out loud!!!! (although I found the idea of the Nativity play rather hard to believe)
Ray got a brief mention--maybe this will set the stage later for Abby to go through the AA steps and make amends for her actions, including apologizing to Neela for that hurtful comment.
I also enjoyed the flashbacks to the patients that had an impact on each staff member.
So, no more new episodes until after the holidays! How depressing!!!

I am so happy that Abby told Luca she havs been drinking. Maybe after her time in rehab I believe she will be able to open up more to him and let him know about the affair. I see the love they have for each other, I think they will get through it.

ok first great episode one of the best in a long time! best quote

<morris> "is that your son?"
<lowell's dad> "yeah"
<Morris> "you better have the balls to go in there!" I was like YEAH ARCHIE!!!!

Second I think frank is the most overlooked person on the cast....I love that guy! "are you Banging the chaplain?" I just about shot soda outta my nose!

all in all I am glad Abby came "cleanish" with luka and have high hopes just like that little ant and the rubber tree plant, hehe!
Wabbitseason
Oh a couple of other things that tickled me was when Archie smashed franks hand to win the bet, also the way Gates defended Sam, I think they are a match made in heaven they have the chemistry and the background that will bind them.

I totally disagree with this. There has never been any indication whatsoever that Neela or the rest of the staff knew about Abby's alcohlism. The fact that Neela is her so called best friend is irrelevent. Last night just displayed that Neela was smart enough to put two and two together. Abby has always been very secretive and private about her alcoholism. She never really came out and told anyone. The few people that did know about it was just by pure happenstance. Carter was one of the first simply because he was going through his own drug problem and was attending meetings along with Abby. Luka basically found out about it through this circumstance because that was around the same time he and Abby started dating. However, he never knew the severity, depth, or details of it. He has always been in the dark about it and it never seemed to bother him. It was like a don't ask don't tell type of thing. Susan Lewis found out from Carter because he was upset about her going out for drinks at a club with Susan and Chen and brought it to Susan's attention. Everybody at Ike's that night during "Blackout" was befuddled by Abby's behaviour, including Neela.
philibuster
I can't believe what Abby said to Neela. How dare she say that Ray would be glad to have never had met her? I'm glad Ray was mentioned again, but I didn't think in this way! One good thing about that is that because Abby said that "Neela, don't you go lecturing me about love..." and then made the comment about Ray, hinting that Neela really does love Ray. Still to this point, Neela has never admitted outloud to herself or to anyone else that she is in love with Ray. To this point the audience just has to speculate that she loves Ray too. Poor Neela, it looked like she was about to cry after Abby said that to her and then she couldn't even talk, she just told her to leave her apartment. That would've been a perfect opportunity for her to declare her love for Ray. It's too bad Neela didn't get to stick up for Ray, but I guess she didn't because then the argument would've been about her when it was really about Abby and her drinking problem. I was pleasantly surprised that Abby mentioned Ray and not Gallant or Gates, and it actually makes sense she did say Ray since they were talking about love, and Neela only loves Ray and not the other two. Abby could have easily blurted out that "you know nothing about love because you married Gallant in a day and didn't even know him" or "you know nothing about love cause you just had a fling with Gates." Ray wins! Poor Neela looked like her heart broke, and I hope she doesn't believe for a minute that Ray wishes he never met her...she already knows that Ray doesn't blame her for his accident, and I'm sure that Ray would rather have met her and lost his legs then to never have met her at all. Going back to Abby, this whole time I thought that Abby really didn't understand that Neela and Ray had such an unspoken love for each other, since Neela didn't really talk much to Abby last season, but after Abby said the Ray comment yesterday, I guess she did know. That frustrates me now because I wish Abby had talked some sense into Neela last year and would at least give her a push like "Neela, why are you with Gates? Don't you have feelings for Ray?" Neela just needs to hear that outloud, you know? And I hate how back at the beginning of Season 14 Abby was trying to convince Gates to go up and visit Neela while she was recovering from her surgery. Why in the heck would Abby be doing that if she knows that Neela loves Ray and that Gates is a jerk that fought with Ray, causing him to leave then get in his accident? I love Abby but I hate how they make her character act sometimes. It's a shame that Neela and Abby's friendship isn't doing too well this season, hopefully things will get better between them. Plus, how many times can Abby say she needs to stop by her old apartment to pick up some things she left behind? Abby already said that in the episode before this one, so she should've already "picked the things up" last time, so of course Neela's gonna get suspicious about that.

I can't stand Gates/Stamos at all, I never liked him and never will. I hated him on "Full House" and I still do. I couldn't stomach watching him with Neela last season, that was so disgusting. This season up until last night's show, it seemed like Gates' scenes were actually going to be tolerable and not making him act as much like an a** like he did last season. Now he's going after Sam, my other favorite character? Come on! Leave my girls alone already! Gee, what happened to Julia, Reiko's character? I hate how ER keeps recycling all their ideas and story archs, cause now they're going to have "another Gates love triangle" with him, Sam, and Julia. Give me a break! Last year it was Neela, Ray, and Gates and now this again? Last year it wasn't even a "love triangle" with the 3 of them, because they made it sound like Neela was going back and forth and sleeping with both Ray and Gates but that wasn't the case at all. Now they're making him be all "defending Sam" and fighting with that guy in the trauma room? He did that last year with Neela when she was drunk leaving the bar, and I hate all this "Gates to the rescue" garbage. He's not a good guy at all, and I hate how they try to throw in all these fake heroic scenes with him. And...Sam doesn't even need protecting, she smacked those guys around alot yesterday all on her own, she doesn't need any guys doing it for her. Come on, Sam! You can do better than that! Why do you always go for all the jerks?

On a lighter note, it was funny with Morris counting up to 300 patients, and the end made me laugh when he smacked Frank's hand to get his 300th patient. I also loved Morris' victory dance, lol. Another funny moment was when Harold sat on that guy that Gates was trying to beat up. Also, Neela looked so adorable dressed up as one of the 3 wisemen...too cute!

It was cool how they remembered the patients that had died over the years. It was also neat how they showed each of the doctors and they showed a clip of a patient that touched them the most, that was a nice touch.

Personally, I don't think it's irrelevant. The rest of the staff doesn't know, that I'm sure of. But I just really think Neela knew. Of course, for awhile there, it seemed like the WRITERS forgot about it, so that could be why there was no indication (on the show) of Neela knowing. Neela's reaction last night..."You had a drink?" "Think about what you're doing to Luka and Joe, don't you love them?" just indicated to me that Neela, even if Abby never came out and said anything (which I'm thinking she probably did), knew about it.

Her being "befuddled" at Ike's could just as easily have been a reaction to Abby's drinking "Wait a minute, Abby's an alcoholic. Why is she acting drunk?" Her not saying anything would be a sign of her confusion and giving Abby the benefit of the doubt. On top of that, as smart as Neela is, let's face it. She can be pretty clueless sometimes wink.gif (and don't tear my face off. I love Neela. I just want to shake her every so often tongue.gif).

I'm not saying I'm right. You could be completely right as well. I'm saying it's a possibility. And wasn't Abby Carter's sponsor? I don't think he "found out" through meetings, I think she told him because they were friends and she wanted to help. Or am I remembering that wrong?

The writer's forgot what for a while exactly? When did they even establish that Neela knew in the first place in order to forget for a while? Anyway, I don't want to seem like I'm arguing. Let's just agree to disagree. smile.gif

Abby was Carter's sponsor. She told him because she didn't have a choice. They "bumped" into each other at the same meeting during Carter's rehab. Before that they weren't friends at all. She was the one that told Weaver and Greene about his drug problem. He hated her initially for that.

I meant the writers seemed to forget that Abby was an alcoholic, NOT that she'd told Neela. I guess I didn't phrase that very well did I? wink.gif And yes, agree to disagree. I like that plan. tongue.gif

Good Lord. I need to watch the earlier seasons again. I just couldn't remember what the circumstances were with Carter and Abby. Thanks for that. biggrin.gif

I would just like to add my opinion on a few points in these conversations:

Im not quite sure either if Neela or anyone else REALLY knew that Abby was an alcholic but there have been several instances where Abby has been in a place where they were all drinking and it is clear she was drinking water or soda.. So that would make me believe that her peers at least knew taht she wasn't a drinker. I think they showed her having orange juice at their wedding reception or water.

On another note, I think Abby did know about the feelings that Neela had for Ray and vice versa. Neela did in fact move into Abby's apartment when she felt that living with Ray was getting to be too much. IT was another thing that was never really said but almost assumed taht she knew about them..just like i think it was assumed that Neela knew about Abby's drinking problems.

I just have to say that this episode was amazing. The way that Abby came straight out asking for Luka's help.. it was heart breaking! And when he was crying, blaming himself..soo sad.. I think they will get through this just fine. I just was a little upset that Luka seemed ...( i want to word this correctly) dissapointed in Abby. Not in the sense that she went back to drinking ..but more like... we got married what more do you want from me type thing.. I dont know it just seemed that he was ****** that they are married and she isnt happy...almost reverting back to season 7 when she was never really happy.. the talk they had in the street when he asked her if she still loved him.. I had a flashback to the night they broke up in season 7.. But i also thought it was great that when she did return home that night her just saying hi and him saying hi ...it seemed like such a comfortable relationship..like yes we can have a quarrel and then you come home and its ok..

I think seeing Luka playing with Joe is when she just broke and thought to herself..i have to get help ..what am i doing to myself and my family?.. it was all very real.

Funniest part of the whole epi: well two...harold sitting on the guy LOL and Morris smacking Franks hand with a book to get the 300 patients..gotta love it
G-Unit
I just observed something with a scene from Neela in last night's episode that I would like to get other roomies input on. As Neela was walking down the stairs from the train station, she had her head down and was clearly upset and deep into thought. She wasn't paying attention and accidentily bumped into Luka. She mentioned to Luka that her "mind was somewhere else". This was the scene after the arguement with Abby. At first glance I thought she was referring to her discovery that Abby has a drinking problem. But now that I've watched the scene again and had time to think about it, I believe she was thinking about what Abby said to her concerning Ray. Clearly she was shaken by this when Abby made that cruel statement, so much so that she kicked Abby out. But it also seems as if she carried that pain with her long after she left the apartment as well. I'm wondering if this was a subtle hint that Neela realizes that she needs to deal with the situation with she and Ray once and for all. Any other roomies(or anyone else for that matter) notice this or picked up on this vibe during that scene?
mackiaveli
I don't believe Neela knew of Abby's alcoholism either. I hope Abby will make amends to Neela( she did not deserve the treatment she got from Abby) and everyone else when she gets help.
sem1973
I was wondering the same thing G-Unit when I watched that scene. I hope that it was Ray she was lost in thought about. Even though the holidays were mentioned, it was technically only the beginning of December according to Chuny. I think it would be so cool for the next episode to be a New Year's Eve type episode where Neela is working the whole night. There can be a tragic accident where a woman loses her boyfriend (due to drunk party goers driving). Neela could be the surgeon who works on him but unfortunately the injuries are too severe and he dies on the table. The girlfriend could be watching from the theater. There could be a very emotional scene where Neela has to tell her that her boyfriend didn't make it. The woman of course would be devestated and would ask Neela if she was in love with someone (to which Neela would refrain from responding outwardly but internally you can see she is thinking of Ray). The woman would say that you never know when that person will be gone from your life and that you have to make each moment count and tell that person you love them everyday. It would be cool to see Neela at the end of her shift (just before midnight) go into an empty surgeons lounge with a Christmas tree lit in the background, call Ray. Though we wouldn't see or hear him, we could hear Neela wish Ray a happy New Year and that the past year has taught her that life is too precious to waste being affraid of going after what and who you want.....TO BE CONTINUED.

I also thought that Neela was thinking about Ray, right before she bumped into Luka. If Neela was thinking about Ray, I would have loved for her to call him and say that he is in her thoughts and wish him a happy holiday. Actually, I was hoping that this would happen, but once again, the writers let me down. sad01.gif

Wow! I didn't realize that was PF until I read the credits. How cool. But my favorite part was the multi religion nurse. I'm Wiccan, and I enjoyed hearing something other than that 'standard' religious spiel. Way to go NBC and ER. I'm very pleased!

I LOVED last night's eppy, but I would like to say that what upset me about Neela running into Luka was that she didn't say a WORD about where she had just been, or what had just happened. Duh Neela! Abby is supposed to be her BEST FRIEND. For heaven's sake, TELL your best friend's husband that you just saw his wife and she was drinking, and argumentative, and you think it has been going on for a while, and youa re terribly worried, and has HE noticed anything, and does HE think she might be having a problem and blah blah blah. She would enquire into a patient's situation if she smelled trouble, why on earth wouldn't she have done the same for Abby? For her to not even mention it to Luka made no sense to me at all. Even if she had started it with a respectful "oh, Luka, I know your dad just died and I know you have a lot on your plate, but I need to tell you about the run in I just had with Abby" would have been something. What kind of person says NOTHING?! That really bummed me out.

Some other stuff about last night that I loved was the service about the patients, where the doctors each thought of someone from the past. i had Luka down for thinking about the Bishop, not Gates, so that one surprised me. LOVED to see Ray Liotta again - oh, how I did love the show he was on!

I do wish, with the 300th occuring, they had made a bit more out of Halle, and some of the really long term members of staff. Jerry did leave for a while, but he has been around for a long time too! It would have been nice to honor that. I guess nurses don't get their props even in a fictional ER, huh?

And I LOVED LOVED LOVED the last scene with Luka and Abby. I wish she could have gone to Croatia with him and THEN gone to rehab, but she had already taken leave, and this way no one at work will know, so I get it. I totally agree with the previous poster who expressed relief that she didn't tell Luka about Moretti. Do you think he secretly might think she misbehaved, and was kind of goading her to admit it? He couldn't know with whom, of course, but he was kind of saying "what else?" a lot, it seemed. Better for her to tell him later, if it all. When they both are in healthier places.

Oh, I do hope Luby have a happy ending after all! No more eppy's left this year. Sigh. And "in the new year" seemed pretty ambiguous. What, like next October maybe? bummer.

And btw - exactly HOW long do you have to be on this board before you aren't a 'newbie" anymore?! Geesh!

cheers, all, E

am i the only one who was dissappointed in this episode.... i thought it would have been more chaotic since they had 300 patients....this was a real let down,i expected more excitement or something being ER 300th episode...

i thought the scenes with the memorial by the chaplin lady were kinda cheesey.....i cant take her seriously as a chaplin knowing what she did that night with gates....i feel her character is totally unbelievable

my favorite scenes: when harold sat on that guy.....hilarious!!! and the luby scenes.....that was sooo sad when abby told luca she needs help and then seeing luca cry...i think that abby will find a way to tell luca about that night with morretti.....if she doesnt then i dont think luby can ever be happy because abby would be carrying this huge secret....i hope everything ends happily with them, i'm starting to miss the happy abby and luca....

to Trifioso.....i dont think neela should have said anything to luca about abby drinking....she did the right thing and let luca find out from abby....if she told luca then it would have started a huge fight about why abby didnt tell luca and it would have made the situation even worse....then abby might blame neela for starting this huge fight.....luca needed to hear it from abby not from neela.....and i think neela realized that luca didnt know what was going on and knew that abby needed to tell luca herself

the whole wiseman and camel thing was kinda funny although i could have done without seeing dubenkos' back end....eww......

Abby was Carter's sponsor. She told him because she didn't have a choice. They "bumped" into each other at the same meeting during Carter's rehab. Before that they weren't friends at all. She was the one that told Weaver and Greene about his drug problem. He hated her initially for that.

Abby didn't turn Carter in. Chen did. She walked in on him injecting himself and ratted on him dry.gif
G-Unit
Wrong. It was Abby who caught him and "ratted" on him. Chen was suspicious that something was wrong from the previous episode because he gave a patient the wrong dosage or medication but it was Abby who ultimately caught him injecting and informed Dr. Greene and Dr. Weaver.

Seriously...need to watch earlier seasons again. laugh.gif I thought it was Chen too...that's why Carter wasn't as "chummy" with her as he had been before. I sincerely thought he and Abby buddied up due to their substance abuse problems. tongue.gif

It's not Neela's place (whether she KNOWS about Abby's drinking or not) to say anything to Luka. Best friends support, they love, but they do NOT confide something as deep as what Abby's been doing to her husband. *shrug*. That's for Abby to tell and no one else, and I'm SO glad the writers didn't go there. rolleyes.gif I was happy that Neela didn't divulge it to Luka and let Abby tell him on her own.

Uh.....The "Chaplain Lady?" I didn't think her scenes were "cheesy" at all. rolleyes.gif Sure, she's a "Chaplain". But her sleeping with somebody doesn't make her wrong (we Christians just can't help ourselves sometimes. biggrin.gif) Just saying. tongue.gif

I would not look to a chaplain, priest, rabbi etc. for counsel or admire them at all if they were hoeing around. If they are adults with any moral values they could help themselves and not behave like trash. I guess in todays society that kind of thing is brushed off as "oops, I did it again", but there are still some of us out here who were raised to save sex for our spouses alone. The chaplain's one nighter makes her Gate's enabler to be the horndog he is. Everytime he checks out a woman on that show or flashes that leer, I get dry heaves. What a hosemonster.

Az I was wondering if you could help with something. Several months ago you posted some pictures of Luka, Abby and Joe in Croatia. (at least that's what it looked like). Perhaps I'm remembering something that never was. But if there were pictures of that I'm wondering if Abby will join Luka in croatia and love it and that's where their stoyline will end. I was just kind of expecting Abby to go with Luka since I saw those pictures. Thanks for the help.

Shel..

The pics were of the book that Luka sent to Joe about his being on a trip and are in the Gravity thread. As for Abby going to Croatia with Luka and Joe, we still have the 3 or 4 episode exit arc to look forward to.
