Ronnie,
You rock!! Thanks for the support. You really have no idea how much it means to us- especially right now!! Thanks to ALL of you have been behind us. I'm sure I speak for most of us when I say it's been the hardest 8 months of our lives, and knowing that there are people out there that are backing us as PEOPLE, regardless of red, blue or black team colors, is really encouraging. I hope you all do tune in next week, and enjoy the finale. I'm glad I got to share this chapter with all of you, and feel continually blessed to have had this opportunity to change my life, and hopefully in the process, inspire others.
Thanks again!!
xoxo

Welcome to the boards! smile.gif

Hope you know and have seen that I've been supportive throughout several threads..

This is just a game.. and I think all of you are winners!

Good luck next week! I'm pulling for a first time women champ!

The Black Team is truly inspiring...they were not only the "rejects" in the beginning to come back and be a huge threat to everyone, picking them off one by one. It gives anyone with little threads of hope, major hope that they, too can get through big feats in life.

I also find it awesome that Hollie and Julie have made it despite health dilemmas that would make it difficult for anyone and makes it even more inspiring to anyone with a hormonal, thyroid, or any other condition.

I adore each of the final four...and was also sad to see Neil go. They all have awesome personalities. Rooting for Hollie (they're all winners in my book) to come through for her mom, Isabeau b/c she just has an awesome personallity (I could see us being friends), Julie b/c she's the biggest sweetheart and Bill, he seems like an ultra fun guy that anyone would like to have around.

How would I possibly choose who I want to win..I want them all to win.

I agree with you! I'd also say that even if Bill won, the women would be happy for him too! As I am sure he'd be happy with any of his good friends winning. They will all be walking away with something as last years' finalists were. Instead of cash though, Heather wound up getting a full nursery ensemble. (if I recall right).. I'm sure they are all happy just being a finalist and they are realists too I suppose. They know how to work the numbers and know how much of a shot they really have at the big money. Bill would have to royally mess up since he's already dropped so much more weight.. I expect(just guessing) that he'll lay off the muscle building exercises and concentrate on cardio before the finale so he can drop that weight (since muscle weighs more than fat). I think that might be what Erik did last season. Alot of the men seemed to do that. The only exception off the top of my head is Marty who seemed to be considerably more muscular than the other guys. I can only assume he kept up his regular workouts throughout the remainder of his time at home before the finale last season.

Isabeau, Julie and Hollie, (And Bill of course smile.gif )

Congrats on making it to the finals.

Ignore the bashes - the fact is, people would always complain no matter WHO made it to the end, they'd find a reason to dislike someone else.

In most cases they're jealous or simply unhappy in their own lives.

We are too jealous biggrin.gif but only because you all look so fantastic!

Congrats - You all deserve big hugs and regardless of whether you win the cash or not, you're all winners in your health and lives. (And look at the friendship you've gained with each other smile.gif )

WOO HOO!! Go Black!!!! I have been rooting for you guys since the begining. I haven't read any posts on this forum because I heard of the bashers!! I want Julie to win. Sorry Isabeau. Hollie and Bill...love you guys too but there can only be 1 grand prize winner. But you are all winners!!!
BIG-N-BEAUTIFUL
You know, I've got to agree with "stephvig" I think I am rooting for Julie to win. I didn't have her pegged as a favorite from the start but she's grown on me. As others on this board began bashing her I began to like her more. I think she is spunky and determined. Because she would be such a long shot I'd love to see the underdog win. Go Julie! But best wishes to all the Finalists. It will be a great Finale next week!

I have to agree that Julie has grown on me throughout the season. I would love to see any of the three women win the title, but I think Isabeau has the best shot at beating Bill. I have had favorites on all three teams this season, but I have to admit I think it's great that there will be an all black finale. What an accomplishment! Congratulations to everyone! I know they'll look amazing.
Boo1667
I've been rooting for Isabeau since day one, and she only keeps giving me reason to root for her because of her awesomeness. At first it was for shallow reasons, because I like her name and thought she was really pretty, but we as viewers don't have much to go on in the first episode, lol.

Now I adore her because of her strength, her teamwork, work ethic, and because she has always told it like it is. And knocking out Amy didn't hurt her rep with me either. laugh.gif

I've always been a Black team supporter, so I'm so happy for an all Black finale, but I'm hoping for Isabeau to win it all. Second Julie, then Hollie, then Bill. No offense to him, I just really want to see one of the ladies take it this year. biggrin.gif

Go Black Team!

I was so excited when Neil fell below the line that I squealed! Of course, nothing against Neil, I just was heartbroken at the prospect of ANY of the Black team going home... and I was convinced that it would happen this week!

I want Julie to win, also. I have related to her from the beginning. I was diagnosed with PCOS about 2 weeks before BL aired. So I am so happy to see how far she has come from that two pound weight loss on week 1.

As a realist though, I believe that Isabeau is the only girl with the numbers to do it. And that wouldn't be so bad.

But I'm really rooting for Julie! You go girl!
BGSU_Falcon
The Black Team should be pleased with their accomplishments. I'm rooting for Bill.
trynot
Goodluck to the black team. It will be really exciting if one of the girls does manage to catch Bill and beat him. So, they shouldn't be here reading the comments that get them down...they better be gettin' busy. smile.gif They could prove everyone wrong, once again.
lisah810
I have been behind the Black team since day one! You are all truely inspiring. Some people will always have something to complain about, don't listen to them!!
bablondie25
Isabeau was up for elimination time after time..so it would be cool to see her win, too. Bill is a great guy and I'd love to see him win, but as a female, I"m rooting for the girls...so he's going to have some serious competition, they're fighting to win for all girls in BL history.

No problem Isabeau, we know you guys read these things and how upsetting it must be. TRUST ME I have talked to people and told them the boards can get mean and they seem shocked. So I am sure those are the minority! Don't listen to them - some people are just not happy unless they are complaining. And I guess once they have run off all their friends because no one likes them anymore all they have are these boards! smile.gif hahaha I have only been posting big the past couple of weeks - very interesting to say the least. Best of luck to ya!

You know, I find it ironic that you start this thread, asking for positivity only . You then proceed to imply that people who are not black team women fans have no friends.

Actually, I have plenty of friends. Unfortunately, none of them watch BL, so I get on here to see what others think and enjoy friendly debate.wink.gif

Back to the positive--Go, Bill!! I was crushed when Jerry was voted off, and he immediately became my new fave.

edited because I'm not trying to be ugly. I would just appreciate it if you would remember we are all allowed our opinions. I have felt the way I have about the women since week one. I don't wish them ill-will and will still ooh-and--ahh over their transformation. I just feel there are some more deserving in the finale.

Best of luck to all the black team, you all did so great after not to be picked for blue or red teams thanks to all for a great season GO BILL

I'm in the same boat. No one I know watches TBL they all watch DWTS, so I had no one to discuss it with. Everyone on this show is brave to get on national TV to do what they've done. I admire them for that.

I just want to say congratulations to the black team for wiping out the other two teams. I love Jillian and I love underdogs. I goes to show that you don't underestimate those you think don't have it. I think this team showed heart and determination. They realized how much they had to lose when they though they were rejected. I have cried and laughed. but last night was emotional for me. I am still struggling two years later after starting this journey of losing weight. I have done great at times in the gym and have lost. Then things happen to me that set me back. Bells palsy was one of them. That hit me this fall and I was not able to get to gym for two weeks when I was almost where I wanted to be strength wise. Then I regularly went to gym while recovering. Then I sort of slacked off as I had to go back to work before I was ready physically as I had lost six weeks of work. I have had huge bouts of depression as my work has been up and down. I work for a home health doing temp work. I have been all over the map. I have had times where I could not afford to even buy a loaf of bread as I had to pay bills and keep roof on head. I lost weight but it was done out of starvation as I was not eating right. Now things are somewhat getting on track but now im working too much and can't find time to get to gym. I carry groceries home and I mean I carry almost fifty pounds at a time and my job is somewhat physical. I just need encouragement. I don't want to baloon back up. so please help.

I loved the fact that they showed on this year how to handle going back to real world. working and trying to fit in proper eating and exercise. i did some private duty at hospital and did not eat much during ten hour shifts as I could not afford to go to cafeteria. I basically starved and was too embarrassed to let others know except closest freinds. I also was not sleeping well. Now im working my butt off for the holidays Im doing over 80 hours in ten days to make up for lost time. Tell me how to get back on track. I am now thanks to the show on how to eat and work and exercise. I am taking the time to take food to work now that im back in a home. That helps but this not exercising im missing it so badly. my body is already feeeling sludgy.

ty biggest loser for giving us more tips this year and showing how hard this when your not in a controlled environment. I know I will get back on track.
I love what working out has done for me. I have pics of me at mynbc webiste under oregongal47. that was me last august on a horse and you can see those muscles and I have one more pic of myself taken two years ago last march. Wearing size 11 jrs camo pants. i can still wear them but I want to look better.

I say go Hollie. I am rooting for her as she has had a hard time and such a inspiration to me as I have had a rough fall. the roughest in several years.
ps I quit smoking over two years ago too. this show is what got me in the gym during the matt and suzy season. ty you two!

I sincerely apologize for offending anyone. In case it wasn't obvious, that was a light hearted JOKE to cheer up the black team. I guess you REALLY have to choose your words wisely in here if you don't want to get jumped on. I realize everyone has their opinions but some people are very harsh to the black team, I know they read them, and it has to be upsetting to read all the ugly things people say about them. I was just joking and playing around to no one in particular, these other people are mean to 4 certain people. Big difference there.

Back to the thread - GO BLACK - you are awesome and totally deserving to be where you are. I can't wait to see how beautiful and handsome you all (and to all the contestants too) look at the finale.
amanda776
Go Black! Thanks for creating this awesome thread Ronnie. That is so awesome Isabeau posted in here, god I love her. I really hope she takes the prize and I can't wait to see Hollie! I'm sure rowman will agree with me on that one. LOL

Grats to Team Black! However, I must admit, I am really hoping a woman wins this, no offence Bill. I can't wait to see the results of everyone on this season. Best of luck to you all.

Okay I will admit I wanted the twins in the final four. I think you all did great!!

I do think Isabeau(forgive me if I spelled it wrong) what you said to Jillian was absolutely amazing and I really have a great deal of respect for you for it.

So you gals and guy rocked!!! Good luck at the finale!
NJ1
Bill, I hope you're working hard and I'm looking forward to seeing what you look like on Tuesday. You've been a real inspiration to me and I hope that you and Jim have continued success.
