Full Version: Random (and shallow) musings

This is my completely random (and probably shallow) musing for the day.

I was struck last night by how very good-looking each of the contestants were once they'd lost their weight. And I got to thinking about other seasons as well. And it kind of struck me as odd that each and every one of the contestants has REALLY nice looking facial features - none of them (at least that I can recall) were less than very striking.

And it kind of got me wondering... do you suppose that when considering candidates for the show they do a 'reverse weight progression' (for lack of anything better to call it) - to see how the potential candidate will look after having lost a bunch of weight? It WOULD make for a better 'end product' so to speak... Just a thought.

Interesting because I have always wondered that too. I have never seen anyone with huge Buck teeth and a face full of acne on this show blink.gif Or horrible features your right.
Hmm well I thought that they looked amazing last night.

Of course they pick people who are attractive. Pretty people in general make good tv.

This cast in particular was really beautiful, in my opinion.

I'm sure the make up lady was on overtime.

Their makeup did get touched up at every commercial break. It was cute, a little team of make up artists would rush the stage, brushes in hand...

I agree of course they pick beautiful people to start with.

Make up would not play a factor any more than it does with any other tv personality, because everybody on tv is "made up." Any show has makeup artists touching everybody up. No different here. It is not as if these people "needed" it more than anybody on any live show.

These people are just simply beautiful people to begin with, and they lost weight are are still beautiful.
