Well as I stated earlier, I have major OCD. So once I get an obsession for something it tends to go into overdrive.

That's been apparent since you got on here!!!
I'm fascinated with astronomy.
To the extent that I went to a "star party" earlier this year. These people had a ton of telescopes set up and I got to see Saturn, the moon, Venus, Jupiter.
I used to record all of the planet programs on the science channel. I couldn't get enough of it.
I asked for a star chart for Christmas

No offense to anyone on here but I've seen many people say thngs like 'I'm a little OCD' or 'I must have OCD because I get really fixated on stuff'.....that is not having obsessive compulsive disorder.....you have no idea what torment genuine OCD is and how it invades everything you do in your life....I have not had a moment's peace since I was 7 years old....I've had to do everything from counting every time I blink my eyes or swallowed in a day....to washing my hands 75 times a day (sometimes with bleach) until they're raw and bleeding, to staying up all night in order to say an even number of prayers perfectly...and if one even felt wrong I would have to start over again lest I risked damnation.
It is a constant record player in my head that I cannot escape and for which there is no effective medication...I am only able to manage it in order to function...but there is no rest from it. Forgive me but sometimes I get a little frustrated when people toss the term OCD around lightly as though it were a personality quirk rather than a serious mental illness.
I'm not meaning to pick a fight or put anyone down and I'm not singling anyone out because many people have mentioned it......I'm just saying...being a neat freak or being obsessed with a certain thing that you love....or just having to have one little item a certain way is not OCD....and to say that it is is belittling a serious problem that a few of us on this board actually have. Please don't do this. Just a request.....please. It actually kind of hurts my feelings.

I have synesthesia which means I combine two of my senses. Basically ever letter of the alphabet and number has a specific color so when I read something the letters each have their own distinct color. Something like 1 in 2000 people have it but it can change. Some people can taste words or see sounds, but I can only read in color.

totally agree BD, that is just one aspect of why I think I am OCD though
I can't stand odd numbers, if I do something I have to do it twice or an even time
I do this weird thing with my hands and if I start, their is a pattern I have to do until it is finished
I wouldn't say I have OCD majorly, but I do have OCD tendencies, mainly marked by my obsession with even numbers and doing some activities in a percise order otherwise getting fustrated easily

I feel kind of ashamed for admitting to it though. Because it is a huge hit show and here I am saying, "I've never watched a full episode and yet I am on the boards (5 days a wk) when I'm at work/home.".

I do think that you don't need to watch an entire episode to figure out why things happened in the end like they did. (If you know what I mean).
The reason why I was only into the Petrelli storyline because I've never felt anything like that in my life. I just wanted to feel/know what it was like to have somebody like Nathan/Peter instead of something so
negative. Anyways...
The actors brought so much warmth and happiness to my life made me want to fly and thank them in person for bringing the characters to life. Maybe not so much with "box of rocks" but Nathan...OMG! He is too wonderful for words!
Now you guys know why I was so upset when I missed AP...I wanted to thank him
very much and at least kept a positive memory in my brain.
