From the teacher generation I really like Lupin and I totally adore McGonagal.
Harry, aren't you supposed to be LOOKING for something was the best line in the last book. (And now I know you'll read it.)

Then I was hooked.

I usually just end up talking about the characters and the story and how it all connects and that does the trick.

I actually got hooked on it when the first movie came out. I wondered what the hubbub was (I'd heard about well the books were doing in the UK), saw the movie and HAD to read the books. I read the first 3 books over a long weekend.
