01/11/2008 (10:00PM - 10:59PM) (Friday) : PACKING HEAT...AND POUNDS - "LAS VEGAS" CELEBRATES A SPECIAL 100th EPISODE-A fugitive on the run has been tracked to the Montecito and every bounty hunter and FBI agent around has come looking to make the capture. Danny (Josh Duhamel), Mike (James Lesure) and Cooper (Tom Selleck) can't help but get involved and somehow end up battling for their own lives. One of Sam's (Vanessa Marcil) favorite "whales" comes to town, but she learns that his seemingly perfect life has been shattered and tries to help him pick up the pieces. Piper (Camille Guaty) throws a post-New Year's pool party and with the aide of three hot babes, has cash rolling into the casino. Meanwhile, Delinda (Molly Sims) feels insecure about her pregnancy weight, but notices she is the only one that has packed on the pounds.

In the middle of tonight's episode, Sam led her whale to her room and began playing a piece of classical choral music, maybe from an opera. Does anyone know what that music is from? Thank you so much!

I thought it was a bit much when Sam slept with her whale. Just so he could feel something after his family died. She cares for him. That was going above and beoyond.

Wasn't that Gary Scott Thompson who played the man in the shrink's office when Sam came in and interrupted?

The best part of this episode was the mention of Mary. Loved that more than I can say. I haven't really watched a whole lot since she left, but I'm glad they brought her up again.

This episode was excellent. I enjoyed all the storylines. Vanessa Marcil did a great job in her storyline. She is a talented actress. The shoot-out scene at the end was exciting. Congratulations to the cast and crew on your 100th episode. I appreciate all your hard work.

Wasn't the actor who played sam's whale the same actor who played Danny's friend "jinks" from high school. And they busted him for cheating playing roulette. think it was in season 2

I heard about that scene on another site, I actually just watched that scene only. It was so nice that Danny actually acknowledged Mary and I loved the look on Delinda's face. It's too bad Nikki was fired, season 5 would have been so much better if they had kept her and gone with a triangle for a little bit and didn't keep the dumb baby storyline.

The actress is Lindsey Kelley.

Christopher Wiehl played the whale in this episode and Lochlyn Munro played "Jinx" in season two. Mr. Wiehl did make an appearance in season two. He played James Riley in "A whale of a time".
