Just a place for us JM fanatics to post ideas for "future" episodes we would like to see.

Ahh ... I don't know ... the writer's were doing a fantastic job ... I normally can come up with my own ideas for a show. But, JM just keeps me on my feet ... it's always growing. Hard to expand on such genius.

Here are some ideas:
Dan interacts with his father at a time later than the 70's
Katie runs into Livia as an old woman. Remember, if she was born in 1923 and is getting married in 1948, she could very well be alive in 2008 as an old woman. Maybe having it done as a "recollection episode" as many shows do, to help those who have not seen the show catch up, as Livia remembers as an old lady her travels with Dan and shares them with Katie, maybe helping her realize that Dan is remaining true to her on his travels. It seems that Katie had the potential to be jealous and insecure.
Dan travels back and meets Livia or her new husband Henry as they travel their natural timeline.
Dan ends up getting addicted to gambling again, now that he knows the course of passed events. How much could he make betting on the biggest upsets in sports history, with apologies to Michael J. Fox and "Back to the Future"? He always needs expired currency. This would be a good way to get it, and could suck him into his old bad habit.
Some the aliases that Livia has used are actually her decendants. After all, how could she have an insurance card in 1980 to take care of Dan in "Blowback"?
And finally, an episode addressing what happened to Livia between her plane crash and her reappearance in Dan's life. From what we know, Dan lived about 9 years between Livia's Death/Disappearance and Dan beginning his travels, but how long was it for Livia? Could have weeks, even days. Imagine being in her shoes, living in early 1999 thinking you were staying there, traveling again back to 1948, and maybe even days later finding your fiance had married someone else. An episode from Livia's perspective could also be interesting.
What do you think, everybody?

an episode addressing what happened to Livia between her plane crash and her reappearance in Dan's life.
That sounds like something all the fans would love to see.
My idea would be an episode that tests what we assume about how far back Dan can go. We assume it has to be within his timeline of life but I'd like to see something take him back further. Maybe in rare instances such as a traveler in his bloodline for example would allow him to fix what they couldn't take him back to the great depression for example to save someone that maybe would have a direct affect on something in present day.

So was anyone else not fully happy with the last episode and how things tied up?
I know I wasn't. Don't get me wrong, it was good, I just think it could be better.
However, I got a bright idea to make up my own "last episode".
So this is the basic plot summary.
In the start of Perfidia we see that Dan has a cut above his head where we assume that he fell, well, my idea is that while he was down, knocked out, he "dreams" that what happens in Perfidia happens, so really nothing that happened in Perfidia happened in reality. So Dan goes to the hospital after Katie finds him knocked out for more than 6 hours while bleeding, Katie comes too. Jack and his girlfriend (don't no her name) come also, there by finding out that she has recently had an abortion due the things going on. Dan goes back to what is his date of birth, hospital bed and all, then later meets with Livia, but he is no condition to do anything, he is very dizzy due to the lack of blood, however, he says nothing to Livia. Livia and Dan take to the roof top chasing a mugger who has recently stole a purse, and then upon realizing that they wont be able to catch him, they stop on the ledge of a building. Thereby Dan passes out and falls off the building without warning. Four stories later, Livia rushes him to the hospital, but it's no use, Dan is dead. (Please keep reading) So as the scene switches back and forth between the events that lead to Dan's death and the hospital with Katie and everyone else, we see an emotional break down with Katie confessing everything to Jack's girlfriend, and she realizes that she has done a horrible thing by getting rid of her baby. Then we see Livia who has is still on the same day as Dan's death and birth, and then she comes up with a plan to get Dan back, however, it would prevent him from dying, but would also take something else that is of value to him. Livia finds Dans mother who is ready to pop any minute and then she does some investigating and finds that Dan's mother is planing on having her baby via sea section, and she thinks to herself, if only she could convince her to have the baby naturally making Dan be born the day after the comet, meaning that he would not have the power to travel back, thus preventing him from dying. She fails in doing so. So she later kidnaps the doctor and hold her there until Dan is born. Upon going into labor Dan's mother finds that the doctor is not there, and refuses to have anyone else, so she has Dan naturally and then the next scene opens to a similar hospital and finds Jack's girlfriend on the hospital bed this time, with Dan, Zach, Jack and Katie all standing around her, and in her arms hold the new born baby named Daniel, then they all laugh and have a good time, and Jack's girlfriend says to Katie "It wont be much longer and you'll be here Katie". Then we see that Katie is pregnant with Dan's second child, and everyone is happy...so what about Livia? While at the hospital Livia comes in and is dressed as a nurse and ask how everyone is doing, after Dan gives her a strange look, she walks out and then you see her take off her white coat, and you see her go back through time.
And that's about it. There are a few other things that take place, such as with Dan's dad, and with Livia's husband, but other than that, that's about it...
So what do you think?

I'd like to see an episode where Elliot Langley is revealed to actually be Dan and Livia's son. He's about the right age.
The idea is simple. She gets pregnant when she's in Dan's time, travels back in the plane crash, gets married, has Langley, hubby thinks that Elliot is his. There are a number of things to remember here...
1) we don't know how long Livia has been travelling since the crash
2) we don't know if she's seeing Dan in the same order chronologically that he's seeing her
3) we don't know (unless I've missed something) what her new husband's name is
4) we don't know if she's CURRENTLY pregnant, possibly with Dan's baby (she could be as little as three months along if she reentered Dan's life shortly after returning to her own time via the plane crash)

In the episode 'Home by Another Way', Dan is talking to his father the night his father left his family, and his father snaps a photo of him. I believe this was a setup for a future episode, where an old photo of an adult Dan would be discovered in his father's photo collection.
