Last night the woman trainer was probing the younger girl on the pink team and trying to get her to understand that unless you face the reason you are fat..... it will all come back on in a year or so.

Can anyone help me remember what the trainer was telling the girl?

She summed it up so well and I can't remember what she said. sad.gif

The way I saw it, was
If your overweight, Fat, Obeses, whatever you want to call it and your trying to put it off, your on a show to put it off, get rid of the weight yet their is an underlying reason as to how you got there wether it be depression, being upset or feeling the need to eat when your bored, you have to realize how you got there, it seemed in the young girls I can't even think of her name right now, it was because she felt alone, so by her realizing this, and coming to understand this, when she leaves the show she'l be able to not feel lonley because her and the Mom talked and hopefully things will get better so instead of having an empty space filling it with food, she'll be able to fill that empty space now with her Mom, who will be there to support her whenever she needs, which is something she was not getting before the show.

What I got from the talk Ali and Jillian had was that Ali hides behind the fat because it gives her an excuse just in case someone "leaves" or abandones her... as she feels her parents did when she was young. Ali was using "being fat" as a rational for why people would leave her... it wasn't because they didn't like HER... it was because she was fat...

Jillian wanted her to figure out why she eats the way she does and why she maintains the heavy body so she won't go back home feeling exposed and vulnerable and put all the weight back on.

At least that's what I got out of the exchange.
