Anyone watch this show? its on showtime, if you get that channel its a great show. I just got into it, I'm only in about 3 episodes and I'm hooked. If you can, you should really check this show out, Its really good. I hear they're coming out with it on NBC (i think). I'm bored just wondering if anyone else watched/liked this show.

Not really a fan of the show. They're also going to have to do a ton of "chop chop" to get it not only within the 45 minute timeframe of a network show, but also get it past the censors.

Even after the network cuts out the parts that make it such an excellent (if you like it) cable/sattelite show?

I don't think they're taking it off Showtime, actually. The impression I've gotten is that NBC decided to edit S1 of Dexter (to make it better suited for Network television... which has ruined other shows it happened to) and begin running it.
I think NBC's just getting desperate now that the strike has pretty much guranteed that there will be no completely new shows next season.

Dexter is one of my favorite shows on television (right up there with Heroes). I've seen both seasons in full and can't wait for season 3 to come up. CBS will be airing it not NBC, but I can't see it being as good for many of the reasons you guys have mentioned. With all the gore, cursing, and nudity, there will be a lot of editing needed. However, if you don't get Showtime I still recommend giving the network version a try.

Adrian Pasdar's short lived TV show Profit I guess is airing on Chiller in Feb. It is 8 episodes and worth watching. I don't think shows like Nip/Tuck would have made it with out this show paving the way

They're making a new Terminator movie set in the future with a grown up John Connor played by Christian Bale and directed by McG (Supernatural). Should be cool, comes out next year I think....I hope Kyle's in it of course it won't be the same actor cuz he's almost 50 now.
