The ONLY reason I even started watching LIPSTICK JUNGLE was because it has Paul Blackthorne, one of the sexiest men on tv, in it. I was very pleasantly surprised it was actually a good show but I am still mainly watching it for Paul. He's an awesome actor and very handsome. Thanx NBC for picking him up!! (Still miss Dresden though)

I've never read the books nor seen Sex in the City. Watched this show and will watch again. Don't think I'll get enough of Shane. Hope not anyway!

Never read the books or watched sex in the city either never wanted to. But I love Paul!! So I'll keep watching. From what I've read on this board there seem to be only 3 of us Paul fans on here. Maybe the more the rest watch the more they will see how beautiful he is.

he seems to be a great actor... i like his performance act in the show. quite irressistable and charming. what i noticed from this show they really tried to show different looks and balancing what is real or not interms of the actors looks and style. great concept...great idea... well done lipstick jungle.

Okay...totally LOVE Shane...but can he move on past his wife trying to help him already!! She's doing a NICE thing!!!

This actor has grown on me. I didn't find him attractive at all at first, and his accent bugged me. I love his character, though, and I now see him as very sexy, even though he wouldn't have turned my head at first blush. This actor was a great choice to play Brooke Shields' husband!

I am sure I am the minority on this one, but, although I love Shane's accent, they REALLY need to clean him up. He looks so nasty and like he has body odor. He looks very rough, in an unpleasant way. They need to shave him and do something with his hair. He just looks nasty and VERY gross!

He is NOT clean cut, which I am more partial to, like Charles, Joe, Mike Harness, and Roy. Even if he had the "rugged-look" like Victory's contractor, that would be MUCH better than what he has going on now. I do NOT see how Wend (Brooke) can even stand to kiss him. YUK YUK YUK YUK YUK

Also, Shane should be more open to his wife's help. She ONLY has his best interest at heart and sees the talent that he has, which may NEVER be discovered without a little push from her.

I am sure I will get some nasty feedback for this one, but this is how I feel.

April35, no nasty feedback here--everyone is entitled to their opinion. I think his unshaven look fits in with his brooding musician/hypersensitive artist character. You wouldn't expect to see Mike Harness or Roy playing the piano at a blues/jazz club...they just wouldn't fit the image. He does have a lot of body hair, though, and with the facial stubble it can look a bit overwhelming. Maybe Shane can shave his face a time or two and that would be the best of both worlds!

When I found out Paul was a regular on the show, I quickly got caught up (thank you hulu & Veoh!) and I'm loving Shane! Loving Shane & Wendy!
