Since we lost this poll I thought I'd repost it now that we have an official anti-room.

Hi all, I started watching days when I was 13 in 93, I couldn't help but Love the character of Samantha Brady, no matter how crazy her schemes were I couldn't help but root for her! I enjoyed the many years of Lucas's and Sami's fights, Plotting, and trashing! I have never seen Lucas as the man that truly Loved Sami unconditionaly, even preferred Austin over him (though I never really loved them together either). For awhile I really thought it would be Brandon in the end, but even he wasn't capable of loving the real Sami! But, the only Man I have loved enough to write about is Sami's perfect match EJ! I am tired of 14 years to TRY to develop a supercouple, I am tired of year after year seeing Sami's be berated about trust and honesty from one of the biggest hypocrites on the show! After all Kate has done to Sami it's insulting that lucas still talks to her! Without Trust they really have nothing! I just don't think Lucas can ever get over himself to trust and love Sami unconditionally! I'd Rather Sami be alone then be with Lucas!

Lucas has this annoying smirk on his face a lot. He is a mommas boy. He doesn't really seem to think Sami is good enough for him but he is with her anyway. He doesn't trust her. I don't think he really cares about her and I'm not sure he is capable of caring for anyone. Austin was a good character and Lucas was constantly trying to destroy his happiness by taking away Carrie.

Took his mothers word over Sami's as usual! I have watched Lucas from day one.All he has ever done is put down Sami,,and curse her,and gaslight her,tried to set her up for murder,,take away her child...had to have his Mommie pay Nicole to marry him.....and when it became obvious that Carrie was not going to give him the time of day,he said Sami was his "truelove"great balls of fire..that is not love.I hate him,and I hate him Mommie.Sami needs to really wake up..cause Lucas is a loser!!!!

I chose that he loves 'Stepford Sami', but will never truly trust her. He wants her to be the good girl all the time, and is constantly suspicious of her.

I don't even really mind Lucas not trusting her (Sami is rather scheme-y...but that's what I love about her!), but that he cannot accept her the way she is and constantly tries to change her is what makes me not like Lumi.

I actually like Lucas, I also at times like Lumi, but I do not think Lucas' love for Sami is unconditional. He has proven over and over again that it isnt. Everytime he berated her for being the "same old Sami" he has proven it isnt. Everytime he publicly humiliated her he has proven it isnt. There are many more things but ya all know what I mean.
Lucas loves Sami when Sami is being a good little girl, when he has no one else, or when someone else wants her and that is it.

I hated this self promoting jack a$$ the moment I saw him on my screen. He was horrible to Sami since day one and always has been. He doesn't know how to treat a woman and is a down right Neanderthal and a pig. He disgusts me in every way and I really wish he would disappear altogether.

I just saw in general that they are talking about Lucas coming back sometime in March and that Higley has stated a preference for Lumi. Puke. That just doesn't add up...why is she redeeming Ej to put Sami with Lucas and Ej with scheming gold-digging liar-extraordinaire Nicole. Sami has been torn about her feelings concerning Ej for months, and it's only escalated into full blown conflicting feelings the past weeks. She wants him. Why do all that and then go back to pairing Sami with the jerk that always makes her cry?

Well...I say once again: Bring it on. Bring it all on. We all know Lumi will do what Lumi does best and fight and break up. Lucas will leave her like he always does and Ej is broke, so even if Nicole sashays his way, she'll soon lose interest. Lucas will be Sami's default as usual, and Nicole will be the kicker to the Ejami s/l.

However....it would make sense for Lucas to get double pissed when he sees both of the women that were once "loves of his life" are both hot for his arch enemy!

I have not liked Lucas for a long time but I really started to despise him when he treated Sami like trash after the whole Stan thing.

I have not missed him at all and the show is a lot more enjoyable without him around. The characters do not seem to miss him either.

I understand why BD didn't want the other role since it was in New York. Maybe if another show in L.A. offered him a job he would have taken it.

The role of Lucas is so one note, I guess BD does the best he can.

That is exactly when I really started to despise him too. The way he treated her after the Stan thing was the last straw for me. Most characters, you really start to miss after a while, and actually notice they're gone. I've hardly noticed he's gone til someone mentions him, as infrequent as that is.
