Anyone get a callback that already auditoned in the other cities?
Callbacks from Nashville, Orlando and Charlotte auditions.

Just curious if anyone from the first 3 cities have gotten an offical callback. It has bee 2 weeks since Orlando and will be 2 weeks on Wednesday and Thursday for Nashville. I think they told us 2-3 weeks, so there is still time.

i hope someone on here does get a callback so they can explain whats going on cause im pretty sure most of us are confused

No reason to get bummed out for a few more weeks though. Just because someone doesn't get to go to a tv taping, doesn't mean they won't go to Vegas. Just keep swimming, swimming ,swimming so to speak.

But I must say, the excitment is great.

I was a singer who tried out in Orlando. After my group of 10, the called me back into the room alone. They asked me to sing my song again, and asked me a few questions about my application. Then they asked me to wait to be interviewed by a producer. After about an hour I was interviewed by a woman for about 15 minutes and then they took some video of my friends and I talking. I have heard NOTHING since then. They seemed so interested, I am just wondering if I should stop waiting for a call??

no, of course not....they had to be interested for a reason....dont give up they wont start call backs unitl or so i heard....so just wait til the end of march to think other wise.....im sure you were just great.

I too went to the Orlando auditions and performed one of my original pieces (sang and played piano/keyboard) I thought the audition went really well but have heard nothing yet

He was asked to sing more than once in front of the judges and asked to sing in front of the crowd all while being taped. No callback yet. Maybe like American Idol they are looking for the sad stories first then the actual talent. If thats the case then they shouldn't have followed people around with cameras and given them false hope. Not to mention how much money it cost to have him fly to Orlando and stay at a Hotel. If he doesn't get a callback he won't be trying out next year. Sorry to sound so angry its just come on already...someone has to know something.

My husband audition in Nashville. We haven't heard anything back yet. I think he's going to go to Atlanta & audition there. If you make it pass the producers you go to the judges. It seems in Atlanta you find out faster. We have no idea how this process works. No details information is posted.

I can understand that you are frustrated but this is an extremely arduous process that has many moving parts. I look at it this way...if it is meant to be, it will work out and those that go on have the best talent and or the most compelling story. I wish everyone success as we all wait on the outcome of this incredibly cool opportunity!

Don't forget that a very detailed background check is also a part of the process.

We were in Charlotte also. I guess I won't completely give up until the 4 week mark; however I've basically figured if we were going to hear something, it would have been before now.

Okay, It Has Been three weeks....

Has anyone been called to go to Atlanta, Dallas or LA? I had an awesome auditionin Nashville, got second picture taken and then got interviewed....I am on pins and needles! Anyone else?

well i heard you wont hear anything yet until the middle of march...not sure....i think that right though

We were told a month, which would make it around the first week of March.

the people in the room told me it would be up to two months. but idk i am hearing alot of different things.
but dont give up hope. =)
i had a great expierence even if i did not make it to the callbacks i still had a great time.

The people in the holding room said 2 weeks-2 months; however after my son's audition the male "judge" looked at me and said, "You'll get a phone call within four weeks if he makes the show."

finally this thing let me post!! LOL. well, I haven't heard anyhting either, nor have a few people i have spoken to. most people on here seem to have had a good response from producers, and they seem to be the ones that would get a callback. I auditioned in Charlotte, NC on Feb 3rd. It was so fun!!!
Hopefully if someone gets a callback and cant "publically" announce it, someone could post, "no comment" on callbacks, or something.lol.

when I auditioned for the judges or producers, the male smiled and said, "Wow, you have a really nice voice." I said thank you (of course), and he said: "well the way this things works is, we let the producers look at the tapes of the auditions and if they like you, you get to auditon in front of the judges. So, if they like you they should give you a call in around 2-3 weeks," and moving his eyes upwards like thinking, he added "or well about a month." the lady beside him pointed out something on my application and he aske dme about that, and said well hopefullt they'll give you a call. SO, i am still waiting and cant help but think positive. They all smiled and seemd to find humor in something about me, even when I spoke.lol. The camera guy kept smiling like he was gonna laugh.lol. not sure what it means, but hey, It felt comfortable, and liked. my sapce page is myspace.com/theroadrunnerz

I am pretty sure the callbacks will be "called" to Atlanta b/c the dates for taping the shows are 27th and 28th, and auditoners are scheduled to come 24th and 25th. I do know that the taping will be at Cobb Energy Perfroming Arts Center, in Atlanta. They may know something there. If anyone finds out, let us know!!!!

ok here is the scoop. I have changed my name for obvious reasons. this I can tell you from first hand experience. lets just say someone I know got a callback on this past monday from one of the producers from the Orlando Auditions. This person I know is going to be going in front of the judges. I don't want to say when cause I don't want to say too much. I don't want others to lose hope. This producer did say that they are still calling a lot of people back so maybe they didn't get back to you yet. Good luck all

Don't give up. I too was in Charlotte and just got a call Feb. 19 and they said I'm on standby for any of the auditions that are taking place infront of the celebs. So I may go! They are obviously working on call people.

remember charlotte was after Orlando. Don't give up hope. The callback the person I know got it this past monday and the producer this person spoke with said they have a lot of people to call. Don't give up hope. That is the last thing I want to do is ruin anyone's hope. Maybe this particular producer is quicker in calling back people. I do know that the staff is very busy with calling people and meetings about every little detail pertaining to the show.

Well, I definitely remember you Santa Claus...it was actually a bit frightening when you walked in the room. But congratulations and you go Santa!!

Callbacks, America's Got TAlent Callbacks???

OK so far no1 knows when callbacks r....im still wonderin....some ppl say inna couple weeks...and it has been 2 weeks now and so far nothing.
Yes we all have been pretty paitient with tha waiting process but the suspence is killin us all.

It's not fair but im sure we'll all survive....LOL
no1 knows how they will contact us it could b inna E-mail.....Phone call....or through the mail.....no1 knows.

Me and my crew was also told inna couple of weeks but on the contract it says "SEVERAL WEEKS"
Maybe not just 2.....give it some time because they wont b airing the show until the summer.....so just sit tight.

Just out of curiosity, what time of day did your call come, and did they call home # or all #'s given? And where did they say you'd be auditioning if/when you went? Oh and by the way, I'm trying to be much better this year Santa, so you'd better treat me good this Christmas LOL!!!!

did the caller id show a toll free number or an actual area code?????

I recieved a call Monday around 6pm. I was given a number to call them back. Said that they would like for me to be on standby for any of the four locations around the country where the Celeb. will be used and that they would fly me out to addition for them if they needed talent at those locations. Singing Santa Claus

I figure it couldn't hurt. I am not a patient person when it comes to waiting. I guess I have a lot to learn on that part of it. I remember you Santa Claus as well. I'm just curious to know if anyone from the Nashville auditions have received a call back from the Producers. I understand if you don't want to mention it on the message board, and, if that is the case, just send me an email letting me know 'yes' or 'no'. Okay, at the ORL auditions, I was very lucky to have an AGT member quietly come up to us in line and ask if anybody had any questions, I asked about callbacks and she said people should know by March, I asked beginning or end of March? She said beginning, so I'm giving it til mid March. I know she was "In the Know" because later she was the main judge. Now I 'm just hoping that my technical questions while in line didn't hurt my daughters chances.

I auditioned in Orlando and I had a great time. There were so many truly talented people there and I really think that even though they talked to some and had them perform more then once was not a sure thing on being called back. It is scripted I think and they have already decided what they are looking for. But I had a good time anyway and I feel bad for the emotional pain some were caused by not knowing they may not choose you no matter how talented you are. I heard in Orlando some people got to use music. Well everyone keep trying out and have fun with it.
