I am so sick of these two being on my screen every single day. They were interesting for maybe a week and then got boring so fast. Total snooze-fest! I have to ff through the entire epi mostly or just not watch at all. While I love Bope and Payla, Jarlena is absolutely of no interest to me. How many times now has John's past been re-written? Marlena being all whinny over John is pathetic as well. Where is the strong woman who emerged after he supposedly died? Colleen telling her she was a pillar of strength was laughable. The entire trip to Ireland and their actions were full of hypocrisy and just plain pathetic. The only good part was watching John slam Marlena's head into the door. Give these two a rest already.

What is it that TPTB don't understand about balance too much of any couple leads to overload and disinterest if the dialogue and storyline aren't perfect! AND this storyline has been so far from perfect it's a joke! I could never see what was so great about Jarlena. I can admit that recently I have been enjoying some of new Jawn's scene's and am glad he's starting to feel something! Let's hope he gets less robotic but keeps this new attitude, it was worth every moment of the painfull Colleen wrap-up to see Jawn smash Marlena's had in the wall, there expressions are better then most of the dialoge lately! I'm just glad there not making out like teenagers! YUCK! Please anything but "mushy were reliving our youth" Jarlena!

I couldn't agree with you more. I hate Jarlena, they are not the future of Days and Deidre's latest interview in SOW about Jarlena having sex has disgusted me even more. I refuse to watch at all next week less I become permanently blind (barely recovered from nasty Lumi couch sex). I should save myself the trouble and just walk in on my parents, seriously. OMG finally a place where I can find someone else that feels the same way about Jarlena as I do. I totally agree with you. I hate Jarlena, can't stand them....especially when they do their little love scenes YUCK! I don't mind John as much, but Marlena I totally can't stand. She always makes that dumb face and every time I see it I just want to slap her.

Everyone else thinks that Marlena is so perfect....she cheated on Roman...she had an affair while she was still married and she even had a child out of that affair who at first she was going to pass as Roman's. She didn't care about Sami's feelings and didn't really care how much Sami hurt and was affected by her affair with John. Marlena is not perfect, she is just as bad as everyone else and I don't see why everyone else can like her.

I have never liked Jarlena; I just couldn't get why everyone thought it was such a great love story between the two of them, when we saw Marlena having an affair with John while her daughter, Sami, watched on. No wonder Sami is nothing like Marlena nor her two other sisters. I can see where Carrie and Belle got that "cheating" quality from, even though Carrie is not Marlena's daughter. I really hate how Marlena acts all self-righteous. I can tolerate John because of his humor, but he is just as low as Marlena is, when he had an affair with a married woman. Writers tried to make me believe that I am supposed to feel some loving for Jarlena, and that they are meant to be together, when both didn't feel any sympathy or try to owe an explanation for what Sami witnessed between the two (although I don't think Sami needs any explanation of what happened). Sami witnessed what a real s*** her mother was, and yet even after that, Marlena still married John, knowing what her daughter saw. IMO, Marlena could care less about her children, unless one of those children goes by the name of Belle Black, who is her precious daughter with John, and Belle is just as bad as her mother is.

I never understood all the hype with these two. Maybe it's because I can't STAND Marlena (but love John).

I agree - as a couple they never really did it for me - but I miss having them on the show - especially Drake.... Old John, Nu-John, who gives a *&^$ as long as he is on the show!!!!
