this is an awesome two hour segment. I LOVE THE GT500. and the part where K.I.T.T. becomes just a pure car depicts the strength that man has which machines fails to harness. however, it is a juxtaposition for the deeper analogy that when working together, K.I.T.T. is unstoppable baby! I WOULD WATCH A WEEKLY SEGMENT OF THIS ON MY DVR OVER AND OVER.
this deserves a sequel: with the lead actor being more than just a car, but a team of modernized, butt-kicking, American heroes. i think that if this were to become a series, we would see just how much America really loves its new-age homegrown James Bond. just comments from a gearhead, but trust me folks a GT500 paired with a tried and true red, white, and blue American epic story would create an outpour from segments and samples of the population that have turned to cable. maybe this is NBC's hot ticket for the next 5 or 10 years.
and if I got the KR edition GT 500, you would see that baby at every major car show in North America for the rest of my life.

Loved the new knight rider
I have to say I loved the new knight rider, I liked the whole new look, yes its not the old one, and I was a big fan of it, but like everything in the world there is change. I really hope this show gets picked up, I'm soooo sick of reality shows, lawyer shows, american idol. BLAH!!! The shelby was beautiful, some of you guys just need to relax, and do some reading, I see a big complaint on how KITT didn't have alot of weapons or special abilities, well if you saw any of the interviews, they said you would get to see more of his gadgets later on, they don't want to just let everything out all at once, where would be the surprise. As far as people complaining about the car, blame gm they decided to bank on the grand prix, later in 08 the grand prix is going to be the g8, and sorry the g8 looks gay. Also for the camaro, who knows when or if thats even going to be released, its not coming out in 08 or 09. As far as american horsepower, the new shelby was the best choice. I race at the track, and the firebirds and camaros always get smoked. The new dodge charger is a great looking car but just toooo damn heavy, so all that horsepower don't mean squat. Anyways loved the show, just came on here to see if there was any information as to future shows.

Knight Rider The Movie, Keep Knight Rider
If there is a show to keep on NBC this is it!!!!!! I mean the Bionic Woman was a bomb and took that off the air and Journeyman, Now that the writters are back HOPEFULLY they can come to an agreement and keep Knight Rider on as a full time show. There is really nothing to watch on NBC anymore Besides Medium and once in a while Law and Order Special victums Unit. And that is a when you are in the mood thing. I mean they have 5 Game shows that air on prime time 6 yes 6!!!!!! Reality shows that air on primetime. I dont know about you all but I am sick of Reality T.V. and GAME SHOWS. And there are three L & O shows on prime time lets put something else in there like Knight Rider to change it up some and give the people something to watch.

You are shooting for it to be off the air so it can be replaced by a reality show instead of giving time to fix its faults?!

Knight Rider
I ended up really liking the new movie. I was kind of annoyed at first with commercials every 5 minutes and the story kind of being vague, but towards the second half of the movie I think it really picked up.
The homage to the original show was very evident. I really liked all the desert scenes like the old show, the new team that worked with Mike and KITT, and of course the Hoff. I really hope he can take at least a small role if this becomes a series.
I would have liked to have seen more emotion out of Bruening. What was great about Micheal Knight(the Hoff) is you really got the sense that he was a loner trying to do good, his vulnerabilty really came through. I did like Bruening and I think he is a good fit, and I'm sure he's got plenty more in him.
The car grew on me. I don't know if I'm in love with the almost video game like animation we saw sometimes of KITT, but I guess that is today's movies.
All in all, I was very happy with the outcome and I'm certainly glad they didn't pick up on any storylines from the KnightRider2000 movie, that was terrible..I think it almost ruined the greatness of the original show. This new movie, brings things back to life.

It can't get any better than this!
I can't believe it. A month ago a local channel started a 'retro' channel that has the A-Team, Knight Rider and much more. I thought it couldn't get any better than that. (Other than now feeling old as Knight Rider is considered retro). Then to come home last night and for a new Knight Rider to be on TV.
Keep it up - looking forward to much more.
Disregard all the negative posts about the car, voice or otherwise. It was a great show to see!
