The question I have to ask is this: If they hate the new show so much why are they still here? My guess is that some people just can't be happy unless they are spreading their misery around.
Personally, I liked the new movie... for the most part. I thought the morphing might have been overkill (especially the license plate morphing), and it will take some getting used to the new KITT (especially the super logical personality), but knowing that this is a new car and not an upgrade to the old one helps some in that respect. I'm willing to give it a chance.
Looking back, the original KITT was also pretty logical at first, but seems to have grown with the human influence of a driver. I think the same could happen with the new show. Also, alot of folks are comparing one episode of the new show to four seasons of the original show. I'm a big fan of the original series, but I can barely make it through watching the original pilot episode from 1982 (especially the first hour). It was necessary to set the stage for the show, but I don't think the original pilot reflects much on the quality of the rest of the original series either.
And for the guy who was upset that there was a lesbian FBI agent or that Mike is promiscous (we know Michael Knight never was

), just realize that not all Knight Rider fans are straight or sexually repressed.
