Full Version: A theory on Arthur Petrelli!

Heroe2sylar
I spent the last week rewatching volume 1 and 2. I noticed something strange, you know how ma Petrelli said that Arthur, Nathan, and Peter have/had delusions of grandeur(I know never at the same time). I also noticed that Peter was trying to save the world when Ma Petrelli said it. Nathan had a part in saving it and also he told his wife the truth about Kirby plaza, and his wife told Ma what he said when she said he has delusions of grandeur. That got me thinking, what if Arthur found out about the plan Ma Petrelli and Linderman had about using Peter to blow up New York, maybe he tried to stop it. And because he tried to stop it they had him killed. Or maybe Ma and Linderman had another idea and and Arthur died trying to stop it. I hope you guys knew where I am getting at, like Arthur was good and tried to stop Ma Petrelli and Linderman's plan so they killed him. So thats why she said that they all had/have delusions of grandeur. mellow.gif

I believe you could be on to something. They were both delusional power mongers. but it will be hard to get the answer out of angela and even harder from linderman
Maniacal
My only problem was Linderman giving Arthur financial support to the point his own son would need to testify against him.

I suspect that Angela supported Nathan testifying against him (and therefore Linderman) as well. Though it hasn't been said.
srt acr
very old theory that could turn out to be true.

Could you Please do a spellcheck on your Sig?
That is just painfull to read.
Otherwise, the theory is plausible.

Ok, then fix the Sylar and because and you will be 100%. It is understandable now.
Not trying to be a pain but it was in BOLD and unreadable.

Well, I don't think arthur was good throughout the whole mess, i think he had a part in angela and linderman's plans just like Mr.Nakamura did.I think They both started out bad but when the company decided to get their sons involved in this catastrophe they did everything that they could to try and help their sons and stop them.Which resulted in angela and linderman killing arthur.Maybe they had matt's father mind control him to jump off the roof.

How was Mr. Nakamura involved in Linderman and Angela's plans?

I'm not sure he was totally invovled in them but i'm pretty sure he did know about them .That talk that he had on the roof with angela stating all the terrible things that they've done and that he chose to help his son in hopes of repentance where she did nothing.I think he and arthur knew about the plans but did nothing to stop them until hiro, nathan, and peter eneded up getting invovled in them.

I think Kaito was talking about all the bad things they did when they were with the company. Trying to repent for old sins I guess you can say. Maybe he did know about the plans but he did not have that talk with Angela until S2 so I am pretty sure he was not refering to the bomb plans exactly.

Mr. Nakamura knew fully well what was going on between Angela and Linderman and had no Intention of stopping them until he was inspired by the heroics and bravery of Hiro. Remember he trained Hiro at the end of season one saying I never thought that it would be you my son. In fact I think it was helping Hiro that lead to his eventual demise.
