I live in PHOENIX and I really want to try out.
Did I miss the LOS ANGELES AUDITIONS??

How many minutes do you get to do your act? I do poetry, and would need a full 2-3 minutes in the audition process.

if i missed the LA auditions- whats the closest one to me , what are my options?

I don't believe the LA auditions have been posted yet; however, you are supposed to have a 90 second audition prepared. It's up to the judges as to how long you perform for them. I think most people who have already auditioned received more time than that. It's the judge's call - could be 30 seconds, could be 3 minutes. Best of luck to you!

They posted the audition time for all other cities besides Los Angeles. I wonder if they are having open cast auditions in LA at all.

I believe it is around March 29,30 and 31

I noticed that it said on the "AGT" auditions page that they were having auditions on March 29th? I am confused:)

I got an email today mar 3,2008 at 3:19 p.m stating:

They are advertising that for a taping show. I did see somewhere yesterday that the pre-auditions for LA are march 9-12 and taped show march 29-31. Confusing it is. but still exciting.

Hi! Yes, we were very excited to get our email yesterday. The end of the month auditions are the ones people get to go to if they pass through the FIRST round ... i.e. Monday's audition !

The LA Auditions are next week!!!! Scary I thought that too and my daughter was preparing for that time. Well unexpectidly we got our email confirmation and her audition time is Next Tuesday the 11th from 9am to 12pm. so if you are wanting an audition in LA i suggest you fill out the online audition form or simply be ready to show up for open call auditions if they have them??????

March 9th audtions, midnight to 3pm?????

Did anyone else get an audition start time of midnight on sunday march 9th to 3pm the same day all the other audition times are in a 3 hour window is this a mistake and i cant get ahold of AGT or nbc to verify does anyone else know please help its this sunday

I'm sure they mean noon - 3 pm. We have the same time slot on Monday.

They actually ran a trailer during The Apprentice last night announcing open casting calls in Los Angeles for next week and a phone number to call.

I don't think any of this is a secret Apollo.

an email and a signed contract are not the same thing.

They give you up to 90 seconds. In my group, some were cut short before that time, some were given slightly longer. I worked on my piece, over and over, to make sure it fit into that time slot. They let me sing my piece, then gave me a private interview.

BTW -- everybody in my group was great! I don't know how they can pick. There is so much talent in this country.

Pick the very best section of your piece. Don't plan on doing the whole thing. It's better to leave them wanting more.

just wanted to know how it went ... i know they're taping actual shows next
weekend ... what kind of acts did you see go through???

The more ridiculios kinds went through. Super tallented and entertaining also went through. Ridiculous ones so that later in the show they could make fun of them.

Did any singers or dancers make it through? and could you be specific about what kind of each? Just trying to decide if I want to audition in NY.
