"I was against the war from the beginning" is Obama's 9/11. When he uses it as the rejoinder for everything he begins to sound like Bush using 911 as his excuse.

The latest example is that when the phone rings at 3 am he can tell the caller, "I was against the war from the beginning". "Oh!, you're calling about a category 7 earthquake in San Francisco, sorry my bad, let me look at my little book to see who you should be calling about that".
