Did the writers forget EJ was born in the US? Susan Banks gave birth to little Elvis in Salem, USA. Why would he even need a visa?

No you didn't miss anything. I think this is the writers hoping the fans of the show have long-term memory loss. They do that a lot. They needed some excuse that would be overall fan-friendly for Sami and EJ to stay married. Other than the obvious--Sami doesn't want to get the marriage annulled. Why don't we just call it what it is?

Obviously she had the best chance she has ever had to "get rid of"the man she claims she does not love,and what does she do??Freaks out!If Sami hated Ej as much as some people thinks she does she would have been laughing her arse off..at Ej,,instead,,she said they would think of something..cmon...we know she loves him,and at the very least has strong feelings for him..or she would have said..so what and goodbye

They would like us to forget Ej was born in Salem as well as the fact that he was born about 10 years ago.

Then there is the fact that they have him saying he grew up in New Orleans with Stefano yet he has a British accent. (I grew up in England and I do not have an accent)

So lets not think about it too hard, it will only give us headaches. LOL

I agree,,if he grew up in Lousianna..he certainly would not talk like that.People read too much into these stories.You are right,Ej was born after Will.yet he is married to Will's mom..it a story...it can change...and on Days its never factual...Belle went upstairs one day a 5 year old,,and EXCATLY 5 months later cam down a teen KS..ha

It's a soap, I don't expect them to know the rules...lol! Anything to get Ejami together is fine with me

i read somewhere that right after his birth his mother took him out of the country, so that might have something to do with it? Idk. Really dont know about his past, maybe he wasnt born in a hospital, but at the demira mansion? and the mother ran from stefano? lol personally dont know anything about EJ except the here and now

So true, the writers don't seem to keep the history correct and tend to have kids born and then within a few months they are driving/and going to college LOL

I think the writers do that just to keep the fans on their toes. They are always writing crazy things that don't make any sense if you think about it. I never even thought about the fact that EJ was born in Salem. And even if he should only be 10 years old realistically I still love him and Sami together. They rock!!

I think it is a PLOT by EJ....He did say he was putting his "evil Dimiria genes to good use".. Or something to that effect... So I think he hired this "imigration Guy" I think he made the whole thing up (rather clever) to make Sami worried , and to fight to keep him in Salem (for Johnny of course... )

Hi new poster here. I notice that right away...but this does give Sami the excuse to keep him closer to her. She's so conflicted with her feelings towards him. And I think the more her family accepts him the easier it will be for her to give into those feelings because she's so starved for their affection and approval that I think that is one of the things that is holding her back. But I'm loving the Ejami scenes and can't wait for more. He is so much better for her than Lucas. EJ loves her for her...all of her. Lucas couldn't or wouldn't...not sure which.

I don't think it was EJ, if it was, why wouldn't he have just opened the letter when it was delivered?? Why wait?

i was wondering the same thing about this immigration thing. it's funny that when ej was born sami was trying to break up austin and carrie.

Since the immigration hearing is this week I read around May 5th the reason he needs a Visa is explained...and Ej did not have nothing to do with it.

I hope tptb make it clear then cause if they don't we will have another "EJ's behind it all' 'No he's not" battle on our hands.

It will.I read about it in sow a couple of weeks ago,I will try and find it,but the gist is,Ej's Salem birth certificate was not legal,because it was filed by Kristin,and his Mother was really Susan.So when Susan and Edmond moved to England,they had to refile all the paperwork,and then it was legal.I will TRY and find that to make sure I got that right,but Ej had NOTHING to do with it.
