Okay so i was at the dallas audition and i've been reading post by people there i even posted something earlier this week. But the number one that i've seen since reading people's post is that the show is mainly basing things off looks. Yeah sure if they look good they'll capture the eye's of American's this summer but if they have no talent and suck America's going to turn the TV. While at my audition i didn't realize that the 11 year old boy that played the electric guitar was jamming out and advanced cause he's 11 years old he can play guitar that' something that would capture the eye of america. Now that's just something that i've noticed so far the person that posted the link to the blog about the guy taht went to the taping he stated that they were puting people in their seats by how they looked. That way the camera will see all the good looking people and that's it. hey let them do what it is that they choose to do. I will watch America's got talent this summer like i have in the two previous summers but while watching it i will realize that nowadays society is totally based off of looks to bring in the money. Anyone else agree?

No one knows exactly what the producers are looking for except the producers. I wouldn't assume it's only looks. An entertainer has to look presentable, but not necessarily a knock-out.

I was the only one in my group to get a private interview. Mind you, I think I'm a knock-out but I'm sure there are others who would disagree. laugh.gif

I really don't think that looks play that big of a part when you have great talent. Sure, we have been trained that it is the pretty one that gets ahead but I would hope in these times that people have learned that some of the prettiest or most handsome can have a heart of stone and a personality of a chair. To me judging someone for what is on the outside should be the 8th deadly sin! Would anyone want to make it because they were pretty only? Beauty fades....
