Hello, my friends and neighbors! This here is a new and (hopefully) fun game that everyone can enjoy! This is the Pic Ninja's Pic Challenge (see above). Here's what we will do. Every Monday, I will post a challenge, ex. post a pic of a kleenex box! Your objective is to go out into your area, take a picture of a kleenex box, come back and post it. If you don't have access to a camera or it's broken or you run out of time or whatever, you may go onto the internets and find pic a there. Please use the internets as a last resort.

The idea is to share pics of objects from your neighborhood with the rest of us. And vice versa.

At no time are you required to appear in the pic yourself or put anything personal (including your name, location, etc. etc.) into a pic. Also, please note that you might have to resize the pic before you upload it/post it. My first contribution (below) was so large that Photobucket wouldn't even take it. I had to preview it and change the size. FYI.

Now, you scoff and say, "That's waaaaay too easy, Pic Ninja! A kleenex box? Honestly!" Never fear! This will be exciting! All challenges will involve something having to do with Heroes or a Heroes episode or seen in a Heroes episode or something. They might be inane, they might be mundane, but that's part of the challenge.

Some things might only exist in the Hero-verse. That's ok. If I ask you for a pic of the Symbol, draw it on a piece of paper, tape it up somewhere, and take a picture. Easy as pie.

All right. Are you ready? We'll kick off with something relatively simple.

First Challenge: a clock representing the first occasion when Hiro stopped time.

Yes, my clock is really boring. Yes, I need a new clock. Yes, I have a fondness for clocks (we have at least 1 in every room). No, I haven't painted the living room yet STOP NAGGING ME!

I know this is Saturday and I said every Monday I would issue a challenge. But this is the first challenge, so I'm going to give people extra time. So next Monday I will issue a new challenge that will last until the following Monday.

It's not like the Replay, where we could all meet and swap pics on 1 day. You can post anytime during the week.

It needs to be a clock, so I can use watch as a challenge later on.

The clock doesn't have to be analog, it can be digital. Like an alarm clock. Or if you have a sundial, that will work too.

I call it the "Hitchclock." And I have a Vertigo poster next to it.

I want to join in, but i think my mum would be a little freaked if i went and took a picture of the Clock. .. Also i think the camera needs charging but i will try and take a picture sometime this week, and post it. Actually, i will check the photos on computer now, to see if they got the clock in.

1. the digital camera's not mine
2. the cord is missing
3. the usb port on my comp is broken (all of them)

I mean, you guys don't have to take pictures of stuff around your house. If you have a giant clock tower in your city or on campus or the bank has a clock or something, you can play tourist and take a pic of that. Some of the items might be found easily in the house.

I mentioned this in Anarchy, but I'll probably post pics of my other clocks to help out with this first challenge.

Basic clocks are good because they're easy to read.

I'll post mine throughout the week. I don't have a clock for our spare bedroom and it drives me up the wall. I shall have to go buy one, I suppose. *sigh* I really love clocks and not because Gabriel's a watchmaker.

We were watching extras on our Lost S3 DVDs. In the writers' room, they have a clock too, but instead of 1, 2, 3, etc. etc., it's 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42, then it repeats starting at 4. 1) It made me think of this and 2) I WANT THAT CLOCK!
