I'm looking forward to auditioning for AGT Season 3...but my parents are a bit skeptical.
They told me that I shouldn't try out unless I am positive I can make it and win...but I simply want the experience. They told me that if I try out this season and mess up, that I'll be remembered and it will ruin my chances of ever trying again.
Opinions, please?
I'm just afraid if I don't take this chance, I'll lose the oppurtunity.
I'm also frightned of not having a new season NEXT year to try out with.

Hmm... they probably don't want you to get hurt if you end up not making it or something like that. Show them your talent. Only time will tell if you win or not. Tell thm that you can make it but there are many other talents out there. But also tell thaem that you'll never know you'll win if you never try. Don't let them get in the way of your dreams. Life's too sohrt for stuff like that. Ask them why would thye do that? If you don't win, you should try again, if you want to make it in show buisness. Take the chance! This is the oppurtunity of a lifetime! If you don't make it you'll know that you tried instead of regretting it that you didn't do anything at all. Besides you can go sight seeing in your city if you don't make it. If you show them your talent you'll have a more of a chance to be able to audition. Good luck!

nothing ventured nothing gained. If you feel oyu have a talent worth while then it will be a good experience for you. You parents are just looking out for you and don't want you to get hurt. I say expect the worst and hope for the best. Chances are you will meet somewhere in the middle.
