Ok, guys I'm requesting everyone's prayers for this little boy. I'm going to call him by his nickname, Axle. Alright, Axle told the kids in his 1st grade class that he wanted to kill hisself. That is he couldn't do it with a gun by blowing his brains out, then he would either hang or choke hiself to death. When I found this out yesterday afternoon, my heart broke. I spent most of my evening and night on the phone with our guidance counselor and our principal last night. If something would have happened to this child last night, I would never have been able to live with that. So, once Ron (principal) got ahold of his parents, they were like o, he is just barking like a dog and meowing like a cat (another wards, crying wolf). The family isn't making any deal of this at all.

I'm sorry but if a 7 year old child is talking about killing hisself, something is wrong. I've done all I can do as PTO President and a a fellow parent, but I have this huge burden for this child. Not only is he in Chance's class, but they are friends.

IMO, this isn't something that a 7 year old should be talking about. It is very scary. He chocked hisself in class or the bathroom one, (I'm not sure) until his face turned purple. To me, this is a very serious issue. Not only am I requesting prayers, but I would also like everyones opinon on this situation. Am I making a big deal over "nothing"?

WOW Shannon, you are really have a hard day. With young child it is very hard for ppl to understand that they maybe unhappy. I would think that his choking himself tell he passed out would of made ppl realize he wants attention. I honestly dont think he understand what death really is at this age. That is the problem. Hopefully some counsler or maybe some child protective action needs to be taken. If the school is award they should of taken action. You have my thoughts and prayer.

I must share my story.. When I was in school I would get teased all the time because of anything.. the way I dressed,act,family backround,fat,looks.. you name it I been teased about it.. I got sick of it all and I told my best friend I just wanted to die because it was getting too stressful for me! she told the teacher what I said and my mom got a call from work.. and it was bad! to this day I wish I could of taken it back.. I got stressed out with family issues,and everything else that was going on! People just stressed me out alot and I figured the best way was hurting myself.. which thankfully I never did but I just had those thoughts but never acted on it! i'm just greatful for the people that are around me and that care about me.. now I feel better! thanks for letting me share with everyone!

it scares me to see kids now adays they have so much stress on them and everything.. I feel awful for them! but i'll keep this little boy in my prayers and thoughts and hopefully nothing happens to him!!

WOW! Prayers are definitely sent. Truly heartbreaking a boy that age already has those thoughts.

Wow Shannon!! I will definitely keep that little boy in my prayers! And no, I dont think you are making too big a deal out of this! If I heard that as a parent...I would be talking to my son immediately! And finding out why he said it. There is obviously something wrong! Especially if he's already tried to hurt himself! His parents are completely wrong for ignorning it. You so did the right thing!!
