Here is a photo from the first episode:

It shows the Green team (Lynn and Jenni) and the Purple team (Maggie and Jenn) on the far left. Every other team is voting, with the silver tray in front of them. I think Purple and Green were below the yellow line the first week, and Green was eliminated.

Am I mistaken? I don't really remember, that's why I hunted for the photo.

I've moderated a board. It is unrewarding. Thanks for the effort.

But can anyone say anything remotely critical of the show or contestants? I've had multiple posts & threads removed, and I truly don't know why. This is a nationally broadcasted show. Does the show & it's contestants not expect criticism? I understand the difference between mean, critical, honest, and trolling.

Every thread is:
1. I like person A.
2. I like person A also.
3. I like person A + I like person B too.
4. I like person A & B too.
etc etc etc

Not much of a discussion board.

I hardly see "I think Ali looks good, but Brittany looks great," as mean-spirited, hostile criticism. It's a discussion. Maybe there are others who think Ali looks better, and maybe there are some that don't care. At least it's a discussion.

You're not mistaken. There was a yellow line for the couples from week one until they started the black and blue teams. My fave Roger moment was somewhere in the first few weeks when purple fell below the yellow line again and the gray team voted for them to go because 'two below, gotta go'.

I know this is late, but I just figured out one of the songs that was played at the beginning of the show. Besides "Proud" and "Taking Chances" there was also "Whatever It Takes" by Lifehouse.
