I want to know - during the process of making this sandwich did he consider the possibilities of allergic reactions to any ingrediants?....or should this be in the Trace discussion thread....or would it be too hazardous an operation to cos I lent my flak jacket to someone else today?

I don't know much about Thursday's show and am excited to see what goes on and what the challenge is. I know it has something to do with Quiznos and making sandwiches. I really would like to see Piers shine on this challenge also.
Just like the hotdog task, if he can get his rich friends to donate $10,000 for a sandwich then great.
BTW. Just had a quizno's today for lunch and MMMMMGOOD

Ok, I know Trace's Cowboy Club has: Prime Rib, Mozzarella(sp?)cheese, grilled onions, chipolte sauce and bacon.
Does anyone know what is on the Champs Club?
I have only eaten at Quiznos a couple of times. When they did the rat commercial, it really turned my stomach, and and I have not been back since.

If you go to www.quiznos.com and click on menu, they have 4 items that are new. Don't know what might be the concoction from the other team.

Stephen was fired basically because he had not brought in any money the last few challenges and Ivanka said she felt Trace would be the one of the two to do better on the next challenge because he had more contacts. Then Trump brought the final four back into the boardroom and told them two more would be fired before the end of the night.

Yes and then the two finalst will begin the final task which is a joint concert (Back Street Boys) and an auction. One finalist I believe is supposed to run the auction and the other the contest. Also previously fired celebs will be back to help the two finalists with their tasks.

TASK: CHARITY AUCTION & CONCERT
Just as the final four celebrities are ready to celebrate and relax, Donald Trump calls them back into the boardroom and tells them the next task will begin immediately. Each celebrity is interviewed by Jim Cramer, host of “Mad Money”, and Erin Burnett of CNBC. Jim and Erin report back to Donald Trump, then the finalists fight for their lives in a surprise Boardroom. The axe falls, and only two celebrities remain. The next morning, Donald Trump reveals their last task – the finalists will put on a charity auction and concert, with each celebrity responsible for different aspects of the event. The planning begins for a huge night, with the finalists assisted by former Celebrity Apprentice alumni. As they race to organize the event, one struggles to meet the demands of the musical talent, while the other is let down by one of their celebrity helpers.
Guest Stars: CNBC’s Jim Cramer and Erin Burnett

In regards to whomever posted about it being rude that Trace doesn't remove his hat inside, in his book he stated (and not an exact quote) that his 'trademark' is his hat, (pony) tail, and custom wranglers. That might be why he doesn't remove his hat. Not saying it's rude or not, just might be his reason for it.
Not quite sure how to post here without replying or quoting anyone, and not meaning to do any of that. And DEFINATELY not trying to get anyone mad or offend. Just a comment.

"2. Apparently Trump doesn't follow his own advice. Her belligerent behavior was never addressed."
I know he didn't address her behaivor the way we would have like to see it addressed, but if I remember correctly, didn't he say the 'rules' of the show wouldn't allow him to fire the one(s) who needed fired (because they won)? And that is why he decided not to fire anyone from the loosing team? So, in a way he indirectly addressed it.
If I understood him right, he made it sound like he had 2 people in mind to fire. Piers may be a pain in the butt some days, but he's definately better than O.
Piers really won my respect when at the beginning of the show, he shook hands with her and basically asked for a truce. I would have lost my cool a lot earlier with her then he did that day. If I wasn't wanting Trace to win so badly, I would pick Piers to win.

As much as I hate to admit it, he does look a little thinner on top. (don't tell any other Trace fans I said that). lol Kenny Chesney is hardly seen without his cowboy hat or ball cap on because he doesn't have much on top anymore.

I agree that she was offensive, but Piers is as sneaky and slimey as Baldwin can be at times. He might have asked for a truce with Oma, but his actions didn't show that he actually wanted one. His snide remarks about her misspelling his name (I'm sure intentional misspelling) weren't the actions of someone who wants a peace treaty and only incited the reaction that followed.
As always, Piers was predictable tonight. In the episode where Carol was the PM Piers bashed Lennox as the "Sleepy Boy" and praised Carol. Tonight Lenox was PM and Piers immediately started bashing Carol for not getting the flyers as fast as they wanted them. Perhaps he should have gone inside and taken over for Carol. I'm sure that her face would have attracted more business than Piers. Piers didn't make the sales, in fact, he was ignored and made nasty comments (smart business tactic) when people ignored him. I'll give him credit for making decisions, but I think Lennox was also looking for an out...if they lost he could claim the ideas were Piers.
I'll give Piers credit for stepping up with ideas, but I'd be afraid to turn my back on him for very long.
Lennox's name and title recognition won this task...Piers had nothing to do with it.
piers4pres
Mar 14 2008, 01:15 AM

...and that tactic was same one used by Baldwin.....When you consider Traces team had leaflets well in advance of the other team....Carol didnt get the leaflets in a timely manner ( constructive critiscism, and Piers will remember that Carol failed to recall the QVC easy pay plan)

I don't see Piers as "sneaky and slimey". He's focused, often blunt and occasionally difficult, but he's pretty up front about it. He says what he means, and he's more likely to say it to your face than behind your back. He's also mellowed a bit over the course of the season. If I were looking for someone to produce short-term results, Piers would be my choice.
He has bruned a lot of bridges over the past 10 weeks, and he may have a difficult time getting the type of cooperation and performance he'll need for the final task. That could be the price he pays for his leadership style, since at this point his "team" really has nothing to gain or lose from their win. There's a saying from business school - "Be careful how you treat people on your way up the ladder, you may be seeing them again on your way down".
If he's up against Trace, he may have a more formidable opponent than he thinks. Trace has built a good relationship with everyone on the show and I think that they would give 100% for him. I don't think Trace's leadership is as strong as Piers', but when you're up against a team I'd rather have people who support me than those who don't really care.
piers4pres
Mar 14 2008, 03:02 AM
However....they all admit he knows how to get things done....he has some formidable contacts....as a person i would want to be on the team that has the best chance ( we all like to win) and some will be able to let the water go under the bridge - they may not like him but he definately is a go getter....

Well as my last prediction was way off base I,m hoping to redeem myself with the next 1.
Piers will host the celebrity auction....if theres a better way, or a task more suited for our hero to personally raise money ,then getting a room full of toffs with cash and prising it from them with a laugh and a smile then you can spank my ass and call me Susan ( ahhhem I,m male and def. not called susan btw ).
And
Trace has already been seen in episode 1,not only on stage saying "hi, how you all doing" but also (as indicated in another thread ) seen back stage being greeted by his with and 2 daughters.
I,ve just realised that this may spoil my viewing next time...I,m kind of expecting this now.......bugga

She was the weakest person on the team. If they lost she should have been the one fired. Plain and simple. She was getting all her ducks in a row by giving them updates on her lack of progress and adding that it wasn't her fault. She hasn't proven herself as far as I am concern because Piers won the Dial task for her. All the ideas were his. He is the backbone of the team and their success is because of him.

Correction Ivanka said trace was better able to raise the most cash. Although she did not mention what the task actually is. She said going into the next task trace is best able to handle this, and then Stephen can. We know the next task deals with a concert. Trace is better able to handle this, because he is a Performer himself.
