Wow. did you see that presentation by Tito?

And those pictures never told a story.

See ya Tito.
Jonny_OC
Clearly, he has taken too many punches to his head during his career. Can he formulate a single cogent sentence to save his life?
jadzia99
Is this the End of Omarosa?
Matt_B
God I wish you weren't most likely right. That presentation by Tito was horrible. I wish it would be Omarosa just because of EVERYTHING she's done in her past.

Yah, I hated being right too.

I really wanted Omarosa to get the boot!!

But why did Tito get $50k? Tito already won as PM the first time?

Why didn't Marilu get any cash for her charity when she got the boot.

And for that matter why didn't everyone who got fired without winning for their charities get any cash?

Donald's playing favorites with his boxer buddies.
Matt_B
God I hope she's gone next week. Her mouth doesn't belong in the business world. You've got to learn to work with people, even people that drive you batty, and insulting their family, calling them homosexuals (preview), etc. is just unacceptable.

It's one thing to insult a person, but to insult their family is simply unacceptable in my book. Piers, here's hoping that you kick her ass next week!
Matt_B
I don't know why Trump threw $50k of his own money (will I do, IRS write offs tongue.gif) but it was fairly generous, especially since his charity was St. Jude, you arguably can't get more charitable than helping sick kids.
GrannyK
OMG ~~ Tito was terrible during the presentation ohmy.gif Was really hoping the execs thougth the other ad was a little too risque'. At least he walked away with $$ for his charity.
Jonny_OC
Tito bullrushing Omarosa and then mounting her to punch and elbow her skull for 15 minutes would have been great for ratings.
OrtizFan
Yes,his presentation wasn't very good,I agree. I don't understand it either,because he is a very articulate speaker. Just another reason why I think this show is so darn scripted. I am happy Trump gave him 50,000 for the charity.It is the little children who wins,so all is good.
soifeas
This was actually a rather boring episode.

Osamarosa steps up then cowers {as usual} as soon as she finds out the PM will be the one to go.
She then lies in the boardroom making it look like Tito pushed her out of the PM position when it was actually Tito being pushed to be PM. Ummmm Mr Trump was standing right there, like he didn't see and hear everything.

Tito unfortunately did a horrid job of presenting the ad, I felt bad for him he was so nervous. It's what killed him in the end.

Mr Trump just earned a tiny bit of respect from me for giving St. Judes {Titos charity} that money, he does have a heart in there somewhere.

~~~
Carol, Piers and Lennox did a wonderful job on their ad. I know the Redbook people said the last pic was a bit risque but I thought it was quite humorous. Yes the male model was taking a bite but Carol was laughing, had she had a different expression on her face maybe I would have thought the same as Redbook.
hrttohrt
If Donald Trump ran back the tape, he would see that Omarosa said she wanted the PM job to Tito. When he said that the PM manager would probably be the one to be fired she quickly changed her tune and yes she did push it on Tito. She is a liar, she slanders people, she really is not a nice person. I certainly would not want her working for me. You can't trust the girl. I am getting tired of watching the show because of her, she should have been fired along time ago.There are some great people on the show doing a great job and have some great charities. Let her go...
I hate to be an "I told ya so", but Trump's other son Eric, has the Eric Trump Foundation and it raises money for...St. Jude's!!! dry.gif Duh...Big Surprise! Trump must think we are all illiterate and cannot read anything on the internet! I think he thinks that because he doesn't like computers! (And that is a quote by him!)
OrtizFan
They don't have to replay the tape,Trump knows everything going on.He sees the tapes,and wasn't they standing in front of him when they picked who the PM would be?
OrtizFan
More power to his son and to Trump,the little sick children benifit from it all. Bless them all.
piers4pres
Well...i am surprised anyone is surprised by ANYTHING O does.....she did the same backstabbing when she had all girl team....and I suspect that Piers was onto her from the get go...and she knows he is!
davewall
Tito's an adult. He accepted the challenge and lost.
In my opinion he was manipulated into taking the job, failed to exercise any control over his team, produced an inferior product and did a horrible job of presenting it. He seems like a gentleman, and I enjoyed watching him in the background of most of the tasks, but at the end of the day, he never showed me any leadership skills.
I think that using the "sexy" (Omarosa's term, not mine) pictures of Trace would have been an even bigger disaster. I spent most of the time tonight trying to figure out how they were going to tie a cowboy/country star into a spokesperson for a largely feminine product. I don't think Trace wanted to change his image to "that guy with the really soft skin".
Steven did a pretty decent job of directing the models and photographer. He ended up with some very nice images. He just didn't have a cohesive theme for his "advertorial".
Carol did an adequate job of managing her team, although it seemed to me that Piers did most of the decision-making. Pairing Carol and Piers on this project was almost a slam-dunk from the beginning.
Lennox was involved, although I think his comment about the second model moving closer to Carol like he "wanted some of that" was hilariously over the top. And I had to laugh about his comment about Piers.
In the end, Carol did what she does best. She was the perfect choice for the campaign, fit the demographic to a tee and showed why she's been a top model for so long.
OrtizFan
In my opinion,Piers and Steven seem to take over every task no matter who is the PM. It seems Carol did have more say in this one than in the others.
Jodh
I agree with you on the money benefiting the kids...I think St. Jude's is a worthwhile charity. I met Danny Thomas many years ago and he kept his promise and made that charity really mean something!
But...I don't agree with Trump's methods. This is typical trump bull$hi ~make sure money goes to a charity...but make sure it benefits a charity which is more important to donnie or donnie's family! I am not as hornswaggled as the rest of those who think donnie is so philanthropic! Why not give some money to Marilu's charity or any of the other one's? (mind you, I am NOT trying to pick one particular charity over another -I am using Marilu just as an example only) Aren't ALL of these charities deserving?
Why single out St. Jude's?? Why? Again, because it is donnie's son eric's charity that's why! I hope trumpie boy redeems himself in the finale!
davewall
Tito was indecisive during this whole episode. I was amused that he let Omarosa bully him into taking the PM position. I mean really, he could have said no.
He really didn't give a very strong sense of leadership to his team, so Steven pretty much took over. Then Omarosa took over. Then Trace took his shirt off.
Then they lost.
Actually, I don't think they would have done any better if they had used the pictures of Trace. He's a great guy, but I doubt he's running right out to buy his yogurt enriched body scrub, unless it's for his horse.
Tito did show a great deal of class in the way he handled his firing. Congrats to him for making it this far.
The reason I printed the above so small, was because if it had been any bigger this second time, I would have thrown up!
I am sorry Soif...but again I have a problem with Donnie's methods of "charitable giving."
All of a sudden he is SO generous? Oh wait...that's his son Eric's charity!
Heart? Yeah, it's somewhere alright, it is located in the region of his a$$!
Its funny that when Steve or Piers takes over they are considered good leaders. But when
I had a feeling he was going to make a mess. He's been getting by anyways. Omarosa should've continued on talking. She pissed me off by volunteering to be the PM then backing out. That was a punk move. I also don't think it was far for Trump to give Tito money when he didn't give the others money. It seemed like he felt sorry for Tito because he was so bad doing the presentation. Some people are not good at public speaking though. I give Tito credit for at least taking the job, unlike Omarosa.
Trace had every right to stand up for Omarosa. Yes she has a big mouth but people came on the Apprentice with an attitude towards her from day one. It doesn't matter if she does right or not, they always find a way to say something negative about her. However, I don't think she was right when she stepped down from the PM last night. She pissed me off!
The purpose of this "GAME" is to outplay, outsmart and outwit your opponents.
Oma plays the game well.
Piers has been playing the game (sabotage etc.) and no one cares.
Omarosa plays the game and she is made out to be the devil.
(Its clearly still the good ole' boys network. Good for them bad for her)
No1TraceFan
NascarHolly...agree with you one hundred percent!
When Tito was doing the presentation and couldn't even remember it was Dial body wash my boyfriend and I both said....oops, there it goes out the window for their team. He should have let O or Stephen or Trace do the talking in the presentation.
chucker22
Poor Tito, he was blindsided by the big O and then protected her from Trump. As the PM he was not decisive and was pushed around. The black widow spider took a bite out of him and that was that. Seems like a nice guy though, even though his sport is insane.
annie61
I really can't fault Tito. He belongs in the ring not the board room. He was obviously nervous and I noticed that the Dial people and Trump's people did not really make an issue of it. For some reason Trump always goes out of his way to let everyone know how much respect he has for O and how talented she is. Ridiculous! She baits people and does not have a professional bone in her body and it's obvious that Trump wants her around because he she will always play up the drama and the negative aspects of working in a group. Ratings run the show and O will definitely be one of the last to go. Stephen Baldwin is my favorite, followed by Piers.
TraceFan
It will be interesting to see Nashville's reaction to her.
I don't think she should have been PM last night she has already been PM twice and Tito and Trace had before last night each only been PM once. One of them deserved the chance again before she did and Tito was the logical choice since he had been PM towards the beginning and both Trace adn Omarosa had just recently been PM.
piers4pres
Mia...I agree with the principles of why he should have been...but not accepting that as a defence of what she did.
Very clear, miss bossyboots wanted the job...they even subtitled the conversation so no confusion she definately wanted it it! until DT indicated the PM is up for the chop if he/she fails !
Had she said..."I would love it... but i think someone else should have a go" then fair do...no complaints ...but that clearly wasnt her motivation.
D57
I agree that she dumped it on Tito after learning the PM would probably be DQ'd. That said, Tito took the job and did a very poor job managing his team. He joined the competition knowing that he would have to show his leadership skills. He failed miserably last night.
It a matter of prinicple and fairness Omarosa has already been PM twice. She lost both times. She is not a good manager. Lennox and Trace should be PM again before anyone should be PM for third time.
I belive the PM position should determined by random. Anyone could be PM at anytime. When everyone has been PM twice, then the position should go to whom ever is the most qualified person on the manage compting interests. It would also be a good idea to split the task winnings among the candiates who won the task when and if that PM gets to be selected third time.
I don't belive even you win as a PM or as a team you automatically have better chance of win the competition.
Nervous or not I feel if they would have worked harder at their presentation (getting a clear path & some direction), He could have spoken in a more fluid manner. Their Presentation stammered as bad as Tito did.
lleee
I felt sorry for Tito. But then, he has contributed nothing on this show...followed by o and Lennox.
Skeeter
WOW, was I wrong on my assumptions before this ep aired!
Empressario sucked BIG time. I fault Tito for lack of direction and vision and O and SB for wanting it their way. "I wanna be the boss but don't want the responsibility" crap all over again.
Trace did as he was told, even when he didn't agree with Tito's decision. I agree that Trace isn't the celeb to sell yogurt body wash. BUT, the comment of him washing his horse with it is exceptionally rude and out of place. He has already been accused of horse abuse so let's not go there AGAIN!
Of course, I'd rather see Trace or Tito shirtless than O or SB dressed!!
I am sick to death of Piers and his gi-normous ego and mouth. I hope he's the next one to go down. I'm a flip flopper because, before this show, I was all for O going down first.
Piers has got to be cut down to size and soon! He is as bad as O in the fact that he bashes anyone and everyone when he gets the opportunity.
Piers, then O, then Lennox, then SB, then Carol!!!
I was not defending what she did. rolleyes.gif I was simply pointing out that I felt she should not have been PM again because she already has twice and let's face it with all the O hate on here even if she had still wanted to be PM she would have then been bashed for doing it a third time while Tito and Trace had each only had one turn to date.
Do I wish O had been fired the very first week when as PM her team lost? Yep and I got more p!ssed off with each week that went by and she still wasn't fired. My problem is that at this point people are treating her on this board like she is as bad as Adolf Hitler or something. The things said about her lately IMO have crossed a lot of lines and regardless of if we like her or not when posters stoop to her level (and I am not talking about you just in general) and talk about her the way they are now how are they really any better?
AhmarosasBane
There is a very specific reason that Donald Trump gave Tito's chairty $50K on his way out the door and it has nothing to do with Eric Trump.
Tito took a dive last night and the $50K for his charity was his payoff.
Did no one else notice that the guys were just getting started on pointing out that Omarosa initially volunteered for the PM job, then backed out when it was learned that the losing PM would be fired ... they were just starting to point that out and then suddenly ...
Nothing.
I mean NOTHING. They just let that drop and moved on to Trump asking the contestents what they thought of other contestents' performances. And suddenly Tito (a guy that was just fighting tooth and nail with Omarosa over whether she pushed the PM job on him) ... suddenly Tito gives Omarosa a compliment on her work. Trump moves on to Trace, who also dutifully compliments Omarosa. Suddenly Trump points out that he said he would fire the PM and he says "Tito, you're fired. Oh, by the way, here's $50K for your charity." And no one really seems that shocked that Trump is giving Tito's charity the money (more than twice the money that they would have gotten had Tito WON the task). Kind of like a deal had already been worked out.
Its simple, really. The cameras got turned off, and the producer stepped in and TOLD the contestents that they might as well lay off of Omarosa because she is not being fired this week. She generates a ton of conflict with her fellow contestents and conflict generates ratings. She is not going to be fired before she has a really big face off with Piers next week. They object, starting to point out all of Omarosa's many flaws. In order to get them to go along and actually give Trump a reason to NOT fire her, the producer agrees to give Tito's charity $50K. Tito talks the others into going along so that his charity will benefit.
Traceistheman
Hmmmmm . . . interesting idea . . . but I've also noticed that Trump very frequently interrupts whatever is going on in the boardroom to throw an unrelated question into the mix. This effectively changes the direction of the conversation. He could have just been bored with hearing complaints about Omarosa.
Giving Tito the $50,000 could be as simple as DT playing favorites - he obviously likes the sports people, almost as much as he didn't like Nelly. Then there's the idea that St. Jude's is supported by his son Eric's foundation, but not sure how that would benefit DT. Or it could have been a payoff . . . like I said, interesting idea.
I've decided I'll have to beg our son to download and burn me some dvd's of this season.
Oh, yeah, almost forgot . . . I read where the actual boardroom seesion can last two hours or more. We see very little of it. Leaves room for all sorts of shenanigans, eh?
