Seeing the previews for next week, Donald's gonna fire two people....and then the other two go head to head on the final task...I'm so upset that it's over already! I think Trace was very graceful in his loss, I kind of felt bad for him because he hasn't gotten anything for his charity. What I didn't get, or maybe I missed it, is that the explanation on the show on my tv said that a former contestant was going to come in and help with selling the sandwiches. I never saw anyone. But I'm soooo glad that Stephen got the boot, and I think it's gonna be Piers and Trace head to head....what do you all think? wink.gif

Sorry 03 I seem to have started another thread on this topic...many apologies for not reading this thread before I posted.

hey, no problem, there's been a couple of topics like that in the past..lol
jslittle55
In the new video clips, it shows Vinny visited each site at the request of DT. They showed DT calling him, and Vinny trying each sandwich. As with everyone else, he liked the Cowboy club better. All the polls show that also.
whatever03
Yeah, i saw the video clips, but what was weird for me is that it wasn't shown on tv, and they said he was gonna appear. I must have missed him.
jslittle55
No, they did not show it on TV last night.

I could believe that 100% Stephen asked as soon as he went into the store..."Which is your biggest seller?" That's what they went with.

It's a two edged sword.

I want it to be over becaue my nerves are on edge and I'm getting an ulcer (not really it just feels like it) but I want it to continue because I LOVE watching Trace each week.

Look at the extended and deleted scene, where it show Vinny as the special guest. Trace and Steven should have never been fired. They should have won because Ivanka and Vinny favored there swandwich better. They also sold more. The Horse Task should gone to Traces team because of Piers and Omarosa bickering.
jadzia99
Although there were hints that emp may have won because they at one time ran out of Sandwiches, but maybe take a look at the standpoint of why they lost"?

It was made very clear that Hydra made a very simple sandwich and changed only on ingredient. Therefore they made their sandwiches faster allowing them to keep producing more without running out.

Emp's sandwich seemed a little bit more difficult with a few more ingredients, again allowing them to make as many as they could muster in such a short time.

Did you also notice how slow SB was working to make those sandwiches? Yes, I know it's his first day, but he was reading those instructions, and very surprised that he didn't learn it by memory considering he was making them prior to selling them.

I will admit I was surprised that Hydra won, but just because they were a man down was not the reason they lost.

And yes, Lennox is a factor, but the way they were advertising was truly great.

If Lennox were fired, I'm sure they would have managed another way. Do the same campaign, a block from the sub shop, and say $2 sammies for charity. Meet Carol Alt. Piers can market very well. He just happened to have Lennox, and that was a plus. It was easy.
piers4pres
I just find it amusing that since they lost all i can see is excuses and such - is they lost because of location, they had a man down, Lennox is a better known celebrity, ......bleating.

They lost ....period!

Come on.....if the boot had been on the other foot these types of excuses would have been considered the rantings of sore losers.

Newsflash- Empressario lost....live with it.

Actually I think it was Piers that said that, not StevieB. Then to make it a bit more of an original he changed the cheese. His brilliance!!! Don't mess with success!!
piers4pres
your right Caleb....Trace & SB had started to say what they wanted in the sandwich before they even got out of the cab....

Yeah, I was pretty sure I was right about that!!
jadzia99
I also noticed that the location may have been a factor.

But I fault Emp.

That quiznos location would not have been successful if it were a slow area. What Emp should have done was go farther out away from Quiznos to a trafficky area and get the people aware to go to that location. Simple.

This is what Hydra did.

they found out what street and ave was the busiest and Piers and Lennox both hit the ground running.

This is what brought them in. AGain, one man wouldn't have made a difference. It was a sort of Paint by number game if you ask me.
theapprentice54
Piers or trace fans this post is for you. These two people deserve to win Carol hasnt odne naything great and lennox is still in becuase he is the most famous and he fought at trumps hotel in atlantic city piers and trace have been very consistant never slacking off

GO TRACE

GO PEIRS, I mean GO TRACE

Oh, why can't both of them win. Would make it so much easier for me!! Let's just give their charities both $250,000 and call it a tie. LOL

Darn that Piers for making me like him..... wacko.gif

Next week isn't the finale. I read March 27th is. So it seems we have 2 more weeks. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Okay, maybe I'm really dumb, or I'm just missing some press on this, but isn't the last show live? And the next one on the 20th is taped from whenever they did all these shows? If the last show is live, then how does anyone know that there was $500,000 raised? Please show me where I can read up on this.

Also, if the concert/auction has already taken place, wouldn't there be a lot of people somewhere that attended either the auction or concert and would have been wagging their tongues about it by now? For example: Piers ran the auction or Trace was related to the concert? Or maybe we all will be surprised and Lennox and Carol were the ones?? See what I'm getting at? And if the last event has already taken place, then what's going on with the live episode?

oh, I'm thinking too much and hurting my brain with all this 'what if' stuff. blink.gif LOL

I know me, too. Is it Thurs. yet? This is the longest week ever!

The last pre-recorded show, which I believe is the auction/concert, is this coming Thursday (3/20). The finale will be live on March 27th.

no, I think hyrda sold 315 (i think) and empresario sold 251, roughly....so hydra was supposed to win..smile.gif

Hi- Is there a March 27th show? I thought this week March 20 was the season finale.

But my husbands cousins son Matthew who was severely injured a little over a year ago at the age of 20, losing both legs and eyesight posted that him and other service men were interviewed by the apprentice and will appear on the March 27th show.

Any clues? Thanks.

According to NBCmv.com, the final episode will be on march 27.

This week will be the interviews with Jim cramer and someone else, then the auction and concert continues next week.

Our former pastor's son lost a leg.

Tell Matthew "thank you" for his service & sacrifice.

Ask him to say HI! to Trace for me !

Yeah! It's not like he'll print out your post, ball it up and throw it at you . . . rolling.gif . . . but he still prefers that you spell it right!

I have the same problem with my fingers . . . I aim right but they miss the key or get the letters out of order!

Trace, Trace, Trace, Trace, Trace, Trace....
Piers is too arrogant and full of himself!!!!!!
Go Trace!
ReclaimingMe
Go Trace! He's a gentleman, but he's smart and assertive!
Lucymac
I agree that Trace and Piers deserve to be final 2. I like all the final 4 but the ones that really have done the most are Trace and Piers. They have had the ideas that most directly affected the outcome in a positive way. Lennox is great but it is his fame that got him this far.

As far as for the win, I say go Trace! But I admit i am biased on that lol!
Ingridblogger
how funny you should dedicate this to the two groups. We've kind of been finding each other anyway! smile.gif

Isn't it too bad that we can't meet up at a place and watch it together? Ok, that's taking it waaay too seriously !! rolleyes.gif

Anyhow, I won't miss the celeb apprentice, but I will miss the friendly banter part of the two sides anyway..

As for answering that person who said why not watch the apprentice itself? It's geared towards young people (and yea, I'm 'old' well, only 44) but as you get OLDER.. you notice how you're not considered part of the target group.. the apprentice by its very nature is geared towards those who are ambitious for a career with the Trumpster. I think the older people are, the less they'd be willing to put up with crap and that could very well include working for him. I don't think he's been necessarily fair (and I'm NOT going to discuss who to and that'll be subject to drama..that's not important).. and that includes to the celebs I did not particularly like even. Perhaps that is because it is still a reality show and they have to stir <bleep> up to create drama where there is none,.. still, I don't think this really has shown me what a great boss he'd be.

Just my two cents. So..who's ordering in? Who's bringing the champagne!!?? wink.gif and desserts, don't forget desserts! rolleyes.gif

According to TV guide the last show is 2 hours long
They had Apprentice 1 finale at studio 8H too!
So, the audience isn't huge.
They will introduce everyone....recap...
then bring out the final 2 with their helpers...
Donnie and Burnett have to squeeze out as much as they can since there won't be another till January 09! sarcasm.gif

Agh, I'm missing it either way which sucks. I've invested all this time in the show only missing one!

For the past two years I've been watching Top Chef...I didn't "get" Reality shows either, but I love to cook so Top Chef was fun for me. Then I ended up watching CA a few weeks ago and was hooked. I'd watched an episode of the regular Apprentice and didn't like it.

I seldom watch tv, but when I do I prefer A & E/Biography channels, Discovery or some of the other "fact" based programs. Oh! And now I'm addicted to Lipstick Jungle, too. I really hated "girly" tv but I love that show...makes it convenient that it follows CA.

Nope, I didn't know that. Learn something new everyday, don't we?? Not much of a drinker if you couldn't tell. One drink, and I'm done for. Plus drinking makes me soooo tired, I fight to stay awake. At least by not drinking I have never had a hangover or been sick from it.

Is it Thursday evening yet?

I'm like you, not much of a reality show person and didn't see why all the hype in it. The only reality show I or my family watch is Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Even my 8 year old loves it.

When I found out Trace was going to be on CA, I just knew I had to watch it till he got fired (I honestly thought he would only survive maybe 3 or 4 weeks). Now I'm hooked. Would love to watch CA2. Don't know if I would like the regular Apprentice, but might try it once or twice to see what it is like.

I tuned in late to CA and had to go back and watch all the earlier episodes. They played fine for me...in fact, maybe better than watching them on TV. I'm as blind as a bat and being closer to the screen helped...plus you can rewind and rewatch it right away if you miss something.

The UK Apprentice is very good, just because Donald Trump isnt in it doesnt mean it will be crap.

Alan Sugar is the DT of the UK Apprentice, hes a self made multi-millionaire, im sure soon Billionaire. Owner of Amstrad and various other ventures.

Its pretty much the same format, 2 teams, one Project Manager for each, somebody gets fired maybe more than one.

The episodes are shown on BBC1 channel over here, which means no advertisements, its purely 1hr of fun, mayhem, fights, crying, jubilation. And after the show on BBC2 we get an hour with the fired contestant in a show called "Apprentice: You've Been Fired!" which is quite an eye opener and gives the contestant a chance to talk about the others tongue.gif

EDIT: Oops should say Sir Alan Sugar. My bad unsure.gif
piers4pres
I am with you on that one...wonder did you see/recall Katie Hopkins?...

Sir Alan's roots always show through and his no nonsense attitude cuts through the bull.
