Full Version: Question about "Boot camp" round dates and times
NBC > Reality > America's Got Talent

I am really interested in auditioning for America's Got Talent, and I saw on Wikipedia that the show is supposed to premiere on the 24th of June. But I heard there are some rounds before the show starts that have happened in previous seasons? So if I happen to get past this first NY round...I need to know if I will have to commit to any dates early in June, because my wedding is one June 7th! Does anyone know of the approx. dates yet? I have tried to find a number to call, but so far have had no luck!

Sincerely,
Jennifer

I don't think they want anyone to know the dates of Vegas (which I am assuming is the next round after all of the cities). I guess if you are willing to chance it, go and audition and then if you make it to the next round and it interferes, you will have a choice to make. I would go and audition, you never know. I have heard that it is June and I have also heard that they are in May, so who knows? Sorry,

I think it starts on June 24, that is what all of the press releases have said. Last year it started airing on June 5, I think that is where the confusion came in. There was an article that stated that it started on June 5, but they had the date from last year on it. Hope that helps.

just go for it anyway. The show starts on june 24, but the first few shows will all be taped. The Boot Camp, In my opinion, will be toward the end of may, but of course I am just guessing. I have no way to know that. Go ahead and tryout and worry about the other later. Hey, maybe you could get married in Vegas. lol

The right future spouse will support you and tell you to go ahead and audition. Just do it, and tell them you're getting married in June and see what happens.

I auditioned in the ATL in Feb. But I continue to hear that they can call people for Vegas. Well if they call you for vegas is that to be on the show or to audition again. And also is that because they thought these performers could carry the show towards the finals for good ratings like last year.
