Sorry if this has already been posted somewhere but I just found out that NBC will announce next week there line up for the 08-09 season here is the link and what it says:

from the hollywood reporter

NBC to present 2008-09 sked 6 weeks early
By Paul J. Gough

NEW YORK -- NBC said it would present its 2008-09 schedule in a news
conference next week, a full six weeks ahead of its rivals and well
before it has ever done in the past.

The news conference is part of NBC's new strategy that eschews the
traditional upfront week in the middle of May in favor of a 52-week
scheduling announcement in early May and one-on-one meetings between
the network execs and advertisers in New York, Los Angeles and
elsewhere.
Taking part in the Rockefeller Plaza event will be Ben Silverman and
Marc Graboff, co-chairmen of NBC Entertainment and Universal Media
Studios, plus NBC Uni sales/marketing president Michael Pilot and
network ad sales president Marianna Gambelli.

here's where the info was

I am hoping that we will recieve good news and they aren't just doing this to get JM fans to finally stop but I am scared sad.gif

LOL, wake up, sadly it IS over. I loved Journeyman as much as the next person. But especially after NBC saw what happened with the drop in viewership with Jericho after it was renewed on CBS then cancelled again they are not about to take a chance. Not saying that's just or right it's just the almighty advertising dollar talking.

Unfortunately I have to agree with the above comment. Of the 4 major commercial networks, CBS had the most nerve -- granted that is not saying much. I think the demise of Jericho eliminated any chance for the return of JM. The metric networks use to evaluate the size of their audiences is wrong, but until they figure that out these sort of stupid programming decisions will continue. It is pathetic.

Regardless of what NBC announces today, it is not time to give up on this show. Maybe I'm living with false hope, but right now I would rather continue to fight to save Journeyman than to just completely give up! Journeyman means too much to all of us to do that. We have to keep believing that we can make a difference. I know that people are tired and discouraged and a small break to regroup and gather strength is needed by each one of us. (I think I have pinched a nerve in my shoulder from my constant posting over at Hey!Nielsen.) But, during that little break time, let's remember why we started this in the first place! We knew it would be a battle! We knew that it would take a lot of work! We knew that we might get discouraged or impatient waiting for a positive outcome. No battle was ever won by just laying down and rolling over. A battle is a battle and to win it takes perseverance!

Visit the Save Journeyman website http://savejourneyman.net/ and the Hey!Nielsen boards www.heynielsen.com and let's continue to stand together on this!

Journeyman is worth it!

What kind of pathetic people are in charge at the networks. Programs get pulled faster than a carrot from a garden. The only reason reality TV does so well is the MTV generation. I hate to say that. I'm one of them. But, I can't stand reality TV. There is simply no point to them. I have a brain and wish to exercise it. Luckiy, quality CSI programs still exist. But, for how long? The way things are going wet T-shirt contests will be prime time material. Oh yeah, that was already done -- Baywatch. Please bring Journeyman back over that stupid reprisal: Knight Rider. Kevin McKidd can actually act. They guy from Knight Rider, what's his name? The name completely escapes me -- sucks. The show sucked. I'd rather see a reprisal of Buck Rogers over Knight Rider. Who cares about a guy being driven around in a car? And just because people liked Transformers the movie, doesn't mean they will care about the talking car that doesn't transform.

Yes, I'm ranting. Rant, rant, rant!

Why does Ghost Whisperer survive and Journeyman gets canned? I don't get it.
NYBrit
Honestly I haven't seen a single program on that schedule to get excited about. Not one. Where are the new drama shows. NBC sucks big time. I won't watch a single show on that schedule. I hope they flop and get the worst figures of all the networks. They deserve it!
Carpetmouse
All i can say is that I will be buying a lot of DVD movies. The fall schedule sucks and I will not be watching NBC any longer.
