Hey ya'll! I was just wondering who you guys put down for the artists/entertainers who inspire you question on the forms.
Belter36
For me, my inspiration has been Barbra Streisand since I was 13 years old!! I saw her in concert in 2006 and this is the greatest female singer of ALL time (IMO) and the best actress, director, producer etc....I just love her. It was her voice that taught me how to use my "belt". I listened and I learned. I could go on all day!! LOL

There are litterally 100's on my list but just for grins and giggles right now I'd have to say Julie Andrews, Bonnie Raitt, Emmylou Harris, Pat Benetar, Gretchen Wilson, Wanda Jackson, Heart, Waylon Jennings, Charlie Daniels, Celine Dion, Skynard, Led Zeplin, Black Sabbath, Big and Rich, Aeorosmith, and The Alman Brothers Band just for starters
Isolabella
Wow where do I start? I have a very eclectic list! Here it is: Roberta Flack, Dame Shirley Bassey, Karen Carpenter, Christina Aguillera, Placido Domingo, Maria Callas, Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, for starters. wub.gif

For me it's Aretha Franklin, Diana Ross and the Supremes, anything Motown actually, Donna Summer, Martina McBride, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, Kellie Pickler, Jordin Sparks, all of the top 10 people on American Idol this season, Dolly Parton, Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera, Beyonce, Miley Cyrus, Celine Dion, Chris Brown, The Jonas Brothers, Alicia Keys, Rascal Flatts.

As you can see I am eclectic as well. This list make it hard for me to decide between country music, pop music, and r&b music...

LOl Well I said that I listen to Barbra more then any other female singer but I do love HEART, Whitney and Karen Carpenter.

As for male singers I love Barry Manilow, Steve Perry, Dennis DeYoung, Andre Bocelli, Sam Harris, David Coverdale, Steven Tyler.

But my true passion is Broadway!!

Aren't these performances that make you really want to get up on that stage??? I sing the one from Barbra and I feel that song in my bones...
