I wonder if they had cast for this show before putting up the information. We're going into July now and there's no names listed as to who's going to be the stars of the show. Not good. A hit? Doubtful.

I am a grieving Moonlight fan who is happy that there is something now I can watch on Friday nights.
With a great show like this on, NBC is going to rule the airwaves on Fridays!

I've seen a few previews of this lately, and it looks pretty interesting. I think the cast looks good, with Sean Bean and Sam Neill, and who can go wrong with pirates? Probably won't be too historically accurate, but just the bits I've seen look like fun. I'll definitely be shutting down the laptop to watch this! Unless Bean's part is just a cameo or something, NBC should put his bio up because he'll bring in viewers. I'll gladly hype this show around the web on sites I frequent.

This looks good. But why did they put it on the slowest night of the week? (Friday.) ... It's almost like they get this amazing cast, and then set it up to fail... *Darn NBC!*

Find out more about this new show here.they should call it TGIF! one of the worst. really! Robinson Crusoe by daniel defoe is a wonderful novel! one of my favourite books and i have read it many times. this resembles it not! first, the most glaringly obvious crime against literature that seems to occur everytime hollywood tries to adapt this novel. "friday" was not black. why do they keep casting him as black? it's racist, p.c. garbage. he was a native american of a tribe of cannibals living near the mouth of the orinoco river. (that's in s. america for all you pageanteers.) crusoe rescued him from being eaten by a rival tribe. i suspect the writers have only seen the movie. for shame!
this show plays like "Crusoe...The Legendary Adventures." dont let your children watch this farce! give them the book, they'll love it. like all "hollywood" adaptations of this novel, they leave out the character development and background sequences when robinson was enslaved by muslims(moors) in africa. which occurs long before crusoe is marooned on the island. this one tries to cover that omission with flashbacks seq. to events that did not occur. there is no long-lost childhood sweetheart, that is totally fabricated into luring women viewers. clearly hollywood believes women are too simple to grasp a philosophical adventure if it doesnt contain the elements of a pulp-romance novel. i'd look for Fabio in an upcoming episode, but i wont be watching. this show bites! boo! boo! boo!
"Life" is still the best show on NBC. turn this off and watch "Life" it's good.
