Idailla posted this. Idailla is the "NBC super Fan" and a board overseer. To me, this was THE sign that they have selected all of the Vegas participants. So congratulations to those who moved through to the next round. While we are disappointed we weren't selected (because we didn't receive a call back), we also know that we are talented women who are thrilled to offer our musical talents to our audiences. We'll be watching! Again, best wishes to all who have advanced!

Well, not to give false hope out to anyone, but could they maybe be doing something different this year? Maybe Vegas isn't the end all be all for the callbacks/show, etc.
Maybe they are still considering some acts - don't like 150 some odd acts make it to Vegas? Maybe they are taking more/less and haven't quite found what they want. Maybe they're targeting a new market - maybe the person(s) who wins won't be doing a stint in Vegas but rather something else....there's a lot of maybe's. So MAYBE there's still hope?!?!
As well, they are still advertising to send in video's on the main AGT page - perhaps its an oversight from some IT dork who forgot to update the page, but if not, why would they still be asking for video submissions if they have found everyone they needed? The producers would be smart to keep everyone guessing - what a great way to generate buzz and get people to tune in. I'm betting almost everyone who auditioned will likely tune in to see who "beat" them to the judges and if those numbers are close to how many people stood in line for their chance, there's a great viewership start right there.
Like someone else said on a previous board somewhere here, don't give up until the show is rolling.

May 11th is Mother's Day. Do you really think they would tape this show on Sunday, May 11th?

Why wouldn't they? It's not like it's a national holiday.
Plus I imagine that the producers would be thinking "hey if you really want to stay at home and celebrate mother's day instead of taking a shot at a million dollars, there's always more people who would take your place in a heartbeat".
And for those lucky enough to get on and who have kids, I imagine the best gift they could get from their family is support - even when they are not at home....

have you seen Idalia's post. She works for NBC and posted it right here becasue she is a monitor for this forum. It's part of her job. Why wouldn't you believe her?
