It's sad, but I'm afraid we must face the truth.

However, let's make this thread not a sad place, but a living testament, a grateful memorial to those who built the foundation, to the writers, actors, producers and technical staff of this great show. What were your favorite things about the show? Characters, plotlines, moments, whatever made you personally take this show to heart, talk about it here. smile.gif

My favorite things:
Dan seeing himself in the past for the first time
Digging up the box with the diamond ring under the cement patio
The $20 bill
The rabbit hole of theories
Jack saying in every episode, "I'm DONE!" laugh.gif
Jack seeing Livia for the first time
Reed Diamond wub.gif
Trying to figure out about Elliot Langley - I STILL say he's Dan and Livia's son, and Livia gave birth to him in the past. tongue.gif Except for the times I thought Hugh (news editor) was their son. laugh.gif
Raphael Sbarge as the dangerous kidnapper Aeden Bennett - what an amazing actor!
All of us trying to figure out what Perfidia means. rolling.gif
The message from Kevin Falls

And my favorite moment:
QUOTE (VBARKLEY @ Oct 2 2007, 05:14 PM) *
Ok, here's my new theory: Maybe Livia isn't really dead because she only travels forward, whereas Dan can only travel backwards.

QUOTE (VBARKLEY @ Oct 12 2007, 05:24 PM) *
See, I think maybe Livia's time could be the 1960's. Or even the 1860's. She could be travelling forward from her own time, whenever that is. In episode 3, she says she's been travelling for awhile. Then she tells Dan, "It stopped when I met you - I hadn't travelled again until I left." Meaning when she took the 'flight' out. She may have been travelling for centuries, and stops for awhile in one place long enough to form relationships.
I called it! smile.gif

I saw "Kate" on a CBS show the other day - it felt like I saw my mom cheating on my dad. Why can't she go back to Dan?

Still angry with NBC for not giving the show a proper chance (IMO). I have The Office from the other day on my DVR but haven't watched it yet. It feels so dirty now.

I'm still bummed out about this months later.

I never watched Journeymanbut I am sad that NBC did'nt give it a chance like they do with many of their great shows.

I'm very sad and disappointed to find all of my favorites are being replaced with reality shows. Tv isn't worth watching anymore.

Journeyman will be missed greatly.

Sad and down in the dumps - CarpetMouse

sorry to see the program leave.. I knew the writer's strike was going to cost some shows, I could NOT beleive that Journeyman would be one of them..it was one of my all time favorite shows

I haven't been over here in a long time, because it really made me kind of sad. But looking through all the threads, and all the work we did to save the show, I am really proud of all the efforts we invested. smile.gif

Hi!
I'm new here. I just register to say how disappointed I was to hear about Journeyman's fate.
The show just arrived in France. I got hooked up at the first episode and thought that was going to be a good show with a long ride.
I don't watch much the tv nowadays. I kinda select carefully what I watch (don't have that much time...) and Journeyman was a really good pick.
Well now I'm frustrated to see great and smart show like this one are canceled when other junk....are on the air. I wonder when we, viewer, will really be able to watch great sci fi, with good stories and realistic characters evolving even when the mission is over...!!!
That's just too sad!!
So if there's one slight chance.... BRING BACK JOURNEYMAN!!! Come on!!

sorry! just hit the wrong button!!! glad to hear that people all over the world like some of our tv shows that we see here too!!!welcome to the network boards!! we love hearing from you!! i visit and blog on many network blogs here in u.s.and hope the networks listen.. i wish shows like this and so many others that were cancelled were still on!! they just don't give shows a chance any more or they listen to antiquated ratings things like the neilson's or they only care about certain (demographics) age groups. they forget that alot of people have dvr 's or even vcr's still and tape or record several shows at once.and they wonder why people go to cable or a satielite networks where the shows are on longer!!!!???!!or they put a show on against a long time established show or in this case football..or they show dreck like law and order or hospital shows that only certain bored people like...or or god forbid have 5 versions of crap like csi.so when some thing like this comes along they cancel it after a few weeks..all those other shows had a lot longer to build an audience didn't they??? right nbc???or universal should i say???!!! i'll be suprised if this reply is even allowed to post..they spend so much money on certain shows that everything else suffers.... OR GETS CANCELLED!!!! have a good day and welcome again!!!
