THE OFFICE
CHAIR MODEL
04-17-2008 9:00PM

Michael's (Steve Carell) fascination with a woman modeling a chair in an office supply catalog makes him feel things he hasn't felt in a while. With Michael distracted, Kevin (Brian Baumgartner) and Andy(Ed Helms) team up to win back Dunder-Mifflin's stolen parking spaces, forcing them into a showdown with the bosses of the five businesses of the office park. Rainn Wilson, John Krasinski, Jenna Fischer, Oscar Nunez, Angela Kinsey, Phyllis Smith, Mindy Kaling, Leslie David Baker, Melora Hardin, Kate Flannery and Creed Bratton also star.

Following tonight's episode we will open a poll for you to rate "Chair Model". This "Voting Only" poll will open at 9:25 PM Eastern. Enjoy smile.gif

Lenny9987
Love Michael and Dwight at the end.

Oh my God, my roommate just walked in and she's looking at me like I'm crazy but I don't care. Oh my God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I cannot wait to see SB's analysis. I don't care that I got sunburned today. I'm just ecstatic and I won't be sleeping much at all tonight. I'm already rewatching it so my roommate will understand why I'm so fidgety and why I want to scream for joy.
j_o_c_e_l_y_n
Omg I'm soo happy for Jim and Pam even though it didn't happen. They're soo cute together!!

No it isn't weird at all. I did too. And I'm still shaking.

biggrin.gif this might turn out to be one of my favorite episodes. great one-liners, kevin almost made me cry, and now jim and pam! while last week's episode wasn't bad, this week it was great having the whole office crew back.

For Jim and Pam: Season finale, anyone? =)

Pretty good episode, won't lie...reeeeally different from the last one, but it's nice to have the mellow and awkward back.
Game_On
OMG!!! Awesome. Have to go watch it again. Repeatedly.
momimouse
OMG!!!!!! I am Freaking out!!!!!!!

I think I will burst before next week!

Stanley: There's no one I hate enough to write their name down on the card.

Love Stanley, love everything about this episode. It is now tied with The Injury for my favorite episode.
WowjustWow
Dwight and Michael singing at the end! Too funny! The absolute best episode!!!!!
Lenny9987
After the episode I'm resurrecting my old thread about how Jim can pop the question. But doing it too soon will ruin it for west coasters. Look later tonight or tomorrow.
Wedd329
I had a whole bunch of stuff I wanted to say, like when Michael said "You can't let me down because I don't care" but Jim just totally blew that all away. Although, and not to put a damper on this, when he walked away from her desk and they focused in her, her face looked a little-- I don't know. Scared? Serious? Maybe I was just seeing things. Did anyone else get that impression?
novas51791
Oh hey, did anyone notice that there was a line used twice in this episode? I can't remember the exact wording, but it was something along the lines of "As long as God is watching" or something like that. Kevin said it once in the cold opening, and Dwight says it again to Michael. Think there's any significance?
Stapler
I'm going to go watch this episode again...and then again before bed...and maybe once more!

This is classic Office! The whole cast is featured (did Meredith speak?), situations were awkward and funny, and the Jim and Pam scenes were excellent! God, have I missed this show. Last week's episode (Dinner Party) was okay, and I know it was planned for before the strike, but it wasn't the best episode to come back with after the looooong writers' strike. This one was great.

laugh.gif I loved that

I also liked the part after Michael got off the phone with Wendy's and Pam told him she had someone for him and he says "Is her name Burger King?" laugh.gif laugh.gif
Wedd329
And what was all that, will she fit in a rowboat stuff? rolling.gif Who says that?

I think she thought they were just joking around and then she realized that maybe he actually was serious.

Yeah, because she was pretty cool about it when he got down on one knee.

And she did bring it up, so it seems to me that she was looking for it. twss.gif

I had a rotten day and this episode is exactly what I needed!!

It was "as god is my witness" -- I'm sure the usage was intentional because it stuck out, but I'm not sure what the significance of the repition is. I think it might have something to do with Jim and Pam though.
Lenny9987
My roommate (Dwangela fan) doesn't get why I'm so excited. It's more the line about "a week after we started dating."
Wedd329
I need a close up on that ring--it didn't look that big to me. twss.gif

That's my second TWSS in two minutes.
Jasam44
i always read but never post, but this episode was amazing. I am so happy about jim and pam
CountChocula
Kevin is so intense while talking about the "five families." I don't think he's ever had this much to say.
