I actually passed a Bikram Yoga Studio a few days ago and have been looking into it. It does look rahter interesting.

I've done Bikram yoga a few times. I will say, it was pretty awesome. As a HUGE warning, you sweat like CRAZY. You have to go in really really REALLY hydrated before doing it, otherwise you'll get sick b/c it's so hot in the room. The only thing about it that was really intimidating for me, is I am over-weight and not very flexible and everybody in my yoga class is wicked tiny and is very flexible. So I just go and do what I can. And I will say, it's totally worth it and it's an amazing work-out!

are you allowed to drink water during a session?

Oh YES! Lots and lots of water! The one that I've been to, does it that after the first breathing exercisings, they go, ok now it's "party time" (lol) and everybody gets to drink water. Then they just tell you to drink water when you feel necessary/you want to, but there are no more official water breaks after that. But don't worry, everybody drinks water through-out the class, b/c it's so hot in there it's hard not to. I usually bring in 2 large things of water into the class and they are both gone by the time class is over with. You'll have to tell me if you go and what you think of it!!!

I was looking for some DVD's so I can try to poses to make sure I don't look like an idiot if I go to the classes but all I can seem to find are books. I'm very familiar with yoga so I think I would be fine. I used to do it 3-4 times a week but lately I just do it once or twice every other week. I have a tendency to get bored with things. It does look really fun though!

I am trying this for the first time today!
Wish me luck, I feel quite nervous.
