QUOTE (cheryllee @ Apr 17 2008, 10:56 AM)

I've never been able to figure this out and can't find the answer in this forum, so sorry if it's a repeat question, but how do I respond in the middle of a quote from another person w/o it looking like it is part of their original post? I know when you respond at the end, their post is outlined and in blue and the response is in black. How do people break up the quote and put responses in the middle to address different questions of that post? (Does that make sense?)
Hi cheryllee! You kinda have to learn a little programming to accomplish what your looking to do. Just a little-bit though.
To break up someone's quote all you need to do is surround the text you'd like to quote with these tags (just take out the space after the first "[" ):
-----------------------------------------------------
[ quote]The first part of the comment you would like to respond to.[ /quote]
Your response.
[ quote]The second part of the comment you would like to respond to.[ /quote]
Your next response.

There is a button titled BB Code Help in the bottom right side of the Reply box that can help you with these and other similar types of things. Hope this helps!
