Ok hopefully our loving and caring moderator will not ex this topic because it is an on going discussion that spreads threw several threads and will not die!!
so here is the place to voice your opinions on the most popular unseen character on the show!!
do we think Jill is good or bad?
is she a government agent?
Why do we think she really left chuck?
Who should play Jill if she comes to the show?
all of these fun things can be discussed here!!

Great idea, and sucking up to the mod is never a bad thing!

Good.
No.
Bryce tricked her.
Dream person: Kate Beckinsale. I will look for a more realistic one.

1. Good
2. Can be
3. Bryce worked his magic

4. CodeNameChuck, that would be my first choice too. Kate Beckinsale is one elegant and gorgeous lady.

Since you've got six months to wait for a new episode, and Hillary took the win yesterday, I'll go ahead and let you keep this. In the future, could you drop me a pm before you start a new thread and bounce the idea off me before actually opening it?

Now what would be the fun in bouncing things off you JD. ^) I would think that would hurt. LOL. as for the questions.
Grey person as let her whims over power her reason.
could be, but would depend on the person playing the role.
Could not stand being alone at Stanford. Little push by Bryce
Kate Beckinsale as well. love her look in underworld. would match with the everquest theme too.

She could't take being so nice to Chuck and keeping those secrets away from him

1. Good.
2. I Hope NOT, but I think so, loosely connected somehow.
3. She thought she was getting the next Software Billionaire and the thought of quitting school and leaving with Chuck for a life full of Morgan and the Buymore scared her away.
4. Evangeline Lilly (People want her killed off Lost - PLEASE come to Chuck!)

1. I think that she is a good person that thought she was leaving a deadbeat boyfriend.
2. Absolutely not it would just be too coincidental.
3. She thought that she was a looser. To her it looked as if he had been cheating his way through college.
4. I think that she might be a little too old but an actress more in the way of Julia Stiles. The others mentioned were too hot. I can't see Chuck always getting the Hotties.

1. Basically a good person.
2. Not a government agent
3. Some type of confusion / misunderstanding. Maybe Bryce engineered it.
4. For some reason, I keep picturing Kristin Kreuk.

I can do that!!
I think if Jill is to come into play, it should be something like her coming back to find chuck to explain what happened because its been eating away at her for 5 years, chuck being the guy he is forgives her but isnt interested in a romantic relationship with her but they are friends and while they hang out and maybe play a game of everquest for old times sake Sarah gets a little jealous and Chuck has to put his foot down on that!
I dont want the whole she might be involved with a bad situation like Lou was, thats already been done and like some people have said if she is a spy that is one too many people in his life that have turned out to be such. He needs a normal life problem to deal with not a intersect/spy world one he has enough of those!

1. Basically good with some personallity quirks.
2. I hope not.
3. Possibly a misunderstanding. Possibly Bryce seduced her.
4. I think that depends on why the writers would bring her back. Their style is to bring a guest star in for only an episode or two (ala Bryce and Lou). If they used Jill as a vehicle to push Sarah's buttons, she should be someone hot. Kate Beckinsale would work if they flashed back to her when she was with Chuck and she was more tomboyish. If they want to make her character more than an episode, it should be someone more "girl next door". I'm thinking Mila Kunis.

JD, Obama's got it!

No, if it was anyone else but Obama I would be supporting Hillary, but it isn't looking that good for her, I must say... but as long as a Democrat wins!

Like I said, if Jill comes back, it will either be because she is guilty or something tragic has happened in her life and she wants to go back to a happier time in her life - her time with Chuck.

Since I see Jill's main purpose as a catalyst to Chuck and Sarah hooking up, I think it would be funny if she was the mirror image of Sarah. She could be very open with her emotions, a non stop talker, into video games, likes olives on her pizza (ok, I'm kidding about that one), strong family roots, wants a real relationship, etc. That way she could drive Casey and Sarah nuts and Sarah jealous at the same time.

1. Jill is mostly good and sometimes bad, just an average person.
2. Not a government agent.
3. Dumped Chuck because expulsion is the kiss of death for a career, which proves her love for Chuck was not unconditional.
4. Don't know who should play Jill.
Here is my 2 cents about Jill. She does not figure much in the show's story arc. Unlike Bryce, who is the catalyst of two critical events in Chuck's life, and "who used to have what Chuck wants most". The purpose of Jill is to highlight Chuck's insecurity concerning Sarah due to her relationship with Bryce. From Chuck's viewpoint, if Bryce could take Chuck's girl Jill, it should be easy for Bryce to reclaim his girl Sarah, who has never belong to Chuck. I say we don't see Jill next season.

Apr 23 2008, 05:52 PM
Jill's gets involved after a Bryce gets a hold of her. Remember that Jill is on Bryce's PDA. I say he mentions Chuck to her and she comes by to check him out.
AND, for the record, you guys NEVER consider Casey, it's always about Chuck!!. Kate is 1 year older than Casey's other girlfriend on the show. I say bring Kate Beckinsale

Seriously !!!

BTW, Kate made some pretty popular movies based on some Vampires and stuff.... She was really good with like Guns and stuff.... I don't remember seeing her carrying a Nintendo DS but she might have although her outfit was pretty tight. And oh yeah, Casey, he is the Guns and stuff guy on Chuck .... just in case you couldn't see the link. Maybe I just don't see Jill as a 27 year old "Gamer Chick" when she comes back. But WAIT !!! Hold on, maybe your right, and Jill and Chuck meet up by accident at a conference where Jill is supervisor of the Geek Squad !
Also, Zach Levi (sell-proclaimed Lost fan) has major crush on Evangeline Lilly, just trying to look out for our boy Chuck.

I think that Jill is not really good or bad. She just has a character flaw that didn't show until Chuck got expelled. When that happened she didn't think that his future would be very bright so she broke up with him. I don't think that she will be some kind of agent. I think that she hooked up with Bryce because she thought he did have a bright future. It seems to me that she is going to have to be atleast as hot as Sarah so that when Chuck chooses Sarah over Jill no one can say that he did so because Sarah was better looking. When Jill does show up I think that she will be wealthy from business and has decided to retire and raise a family. She will think that Chuck would make a perfect husband because she will believe that he will marry her because he loves her and not for his money. I think the main purpose of her appearance will be so that Chuck can demonstrate that he loves her more than he ever loved Jill, and no matter what Jill has to offer, Chuck will always choose Sarah.

Apr 23 2008, 08:45 PM
You know, if that is the case, then Jill is not worth bringing into the picture.
What kind of girlfriend was Jill if she abondoned him at his time of need? When he got expelled is when he would have needed her the most. If she was the kind of girl to leave Chuck when he got expelled just because she thought he had no future, then she has no soul. She obviously didnt care about him enough to stay with him when he got kicked out, i have no idea how she lasted with him for four years. At least now we know why she could have gotten with Bryce. With Bryce, something new was always happening, then, before and in the future.

1. Jill is in that proverbial gray area. She's neither bad or good.
2. She's not a government agent like what most people are expecting her to be.
3. My opinion is that if you turn your back on someone you supposedly loved when he needed you the most after he experienced something that effected him greatly then you don't deserved to have your name mentioned.
4. The actress to play Jill - after careful thought I would pick....Amy Smart.

Apr 23 2008, 09:44 PM
Here is my take on Jill.
She is a good person, that got tangled up in a web of lies via our buddy Bryce Larkin. I still hold to the thought that we don't have the full picture of what happened after Chuck was kicked out of Stanford. Chuck himself believed things about that whole situation that turned out to be polar opposite from the truth. My suspician is that some things are going to be revealed about Jill that will catch everybody off guard.
One scenerio I can see happening is as Chuck and Bryce begin working together...they are going to have plenty of chances to visit the past. We all know that Jill will come up and Bryce will offer to set up a meeting with her. Chuck wanting at least closure...takes him up on his offer.
Oh..by the way...I don't have a particular actress in mind...but I do believe she will be a brunette.
RickFromIllinois
Apr 23 2008, 09:52 PM
I'm sorry, but what kind of lies did Bryce tell her that would make her dump Chuck without checking with him about the truth for seven years? Not once did she try to contact him? I don't believe that you can dump everything into Bryce's lap. When she dumped Chuck and didn't contact him for seven years the blame was hers, not Bryce's.
hubbabubbaMAX
Apr 23 2008, 09:58 PM
Not even seven years, why not ask him right then and there? They were together about 4 years, they were most likely comfortable with each other to ask each other about things they hear, rumors, lies, and such. If you think about it- why would she get together with Bryce right after that if he fed her such lies?
So that isn't plausible.
Now I really dont see her as such a good character anymore. As I said before, what kind of girlfriend would do that? Just leave him especially when he needed her there. I totally changed my view of Jill. She doesnt seem like a good character anymore. She can still be that spy, but no way can she be good.

When did Jill leave Chuck ?
CHUCK LEFT JILL !
Chuck ran away, it is possible that Jill and Chuck had a fight. If Jill is his girlfriend, what is she supposed to do ? Agree with him, give up on his dream, run home with him, and feel sorry for him together ? She is supposed to quit Stanford ? Go back to LA with Chuck to live with his sister and both of them work at the Buymore ? Are those NORMAL expectations that you guys are suggesting ? Why didn't both of them start their software company together? It was their final year, wouldn't the next step for them to get a place together? Why did Chuck have to run home ?
Remember, the three of them Bryce/Jill/Chuck where VERY good friends, Chuck made that very clear in the Pilot episode. We don't know what Bryce said to Jill if anything. Jill could have been talking to Bryce about what and why he did to Chuck and Chuck in his "Fragile" state at the time decides that Jill was now with Bryce and gets on the Train. Why is everyone "Evil" by default. Why does Chuck have to be a complete moron when judging his friends ? Why can't Chuck be a good person who's judgment in his friends characters doesn't turn them into Evil when there are misunderstandings between them.

gatorfan13

I think Chuck might have done the samething with Jill that he is doing with Sarah!
After he got kicked out of school he tried to get her to pick him over school and everything she worked for and she turned him down and left.
now he wants sarah to put him before her job and make the same type of decision.
and they are right, we really dont know the whole backstory on how Jill left Chuck, if they talked or she just left without a word.

Gator,
I like that thought a lot. It would make a great story if Jill coming back made Sarah realize that Chuck was devastated when Jill wouldn't put him ahead of her life goals and he was now implicitly asking Sarah to do the same.
hubbabubbaMAX
Apr 24 2008, 09:12 AM
That would be so interesting... Chucks little flaw...
Appearantly he needs to know that he's important and that no body will leave him. He needs to know that he's more important than work and life goals; what if this would throw Sarah off a little bit, and it would be a total turn off for her?
BillAtWork
Apr 24 2008, 12:06 PM
It could very well go that way. Chuck and Sarah are getting ready to "close the deal" and Jill scares Sarah by telling (implicitly) her what Chuck really expects. My hope would be that Jill would tell (again, implicitly) Sarah how she failed Chuck and cause Sarah to understand where Chuck is coming from. Hopefully that would cause her to have more empathy for Chuck leading her to "close the deal".
RickFromIllinois
Apr 24 2008, 06:56 PM
If that were that the case then Chuck is the real jerk of the show and Sarah would be better off asking for a different mission. She would be stupid to get involved with someone who demanded that his wants and needs be place ahead of hers. Actually, if that was the case, the best thing she could do is drive him to the underground bunker, drop him off to spend the rest of his life there, and the show could end. Some how I don't think that is going to happen. What I would like to see happen is that Jill shows up, is hot, and wants Chuck. Chuck tells her that he's with Sarah now and thanks but no thanks. Sweet, simple, and to the point. She wants him, he has someone else, he tells her to take a hike. He wins, she loses. It would have to really build up Chuck's ego, which he could use.
gatorfan13
Apr 24 2008, 08:02 PM
Im not saying Chuck is making Sarah give up everything, i was trying to make the point that he has learned from past mistakes when he did possibly want Jill to give up everything and she said no.
Now with Sarah, he just wants to know that he is in a place in her life that is not all about the job and she wont abandon him when he needs her like people have done in the past.
and i like that thought of Chuck rubbing the fact that he has moved on and is with Sarah in Jills face, but you know they are going to make it more dramatic than that!

I guess I don't see chuck as a jerk just because he would want Sarah to put him ahead of her job. I think that is the main question that Sarah has to answer. Does she want to settle down with Chuck or does she want the excitement of her job. I don't think she knows the answer herself yet. My point was that I think that Jill could make Sarah come to realize what Chuck is about. It could be that Jill says she wasn't ready then (most college students aren't) but she has thought about it and now is at a place in her life where she wants that. That could be a catalyst to Sarah deciding if she is at that same point. If Sarah makes the decision that she's not, then who could blame Chuck for being interested in getting back with Jill?

Once they get together, yes, they will have to share the flow of emotional problems, and not just have it centered on Sarah. But for now...
RickFromIllinois
Apr 25 2008, 06:41 PM
I don't think that Sarah has to worry about putting Chuck's wants/needs ahead of hers, I think that Chuck will put Sarah's ahead of his. The funny thing is that in the end their wants/needs are going to be the same so there will not be whose needs/wants come ahead of the others.
As for Jill....I hope she's hot, I hope she's rich, and I hope she shows up at the Buy More and tells Chuck that she wants him back. That she made a huge mistake dumping him. And then from behind her you hear Sarah say "You sure did". Sarah is looking great, maybe she's there to meet Chuck and go out for the evening. Sarah then says to Jill that it too late now, Chuck is her guy, and Jill can hike her skinny behind out of there. Then she takes Chuck's arm and leads him out the door. Chuck by the way has a goofy smile on his face as he keeps looking at Sarah as they leave.
