Here's a little rant...Today when I checked my e-mails I had got 27 messages from YouTube. They had removed almost all of my DAYS videos. mad.gif sad01.gif I didn't have any idea Sony doesn't allow us to upload DAYS clips/musicvideos. It looks like they haven't removed any videos from other DAYS fans. At least not yet.

People had requested these videos from me and I had spent time to edit and upload them without getting paid or anything. And it's not that I wanted money from them, it's just that people enjoyed those videos and I hate to disappoint them by not uploading anything DAYS related anymore, since I don't want my account deleted.

Same thing happened to me. I had uploaded more than 100 Days videos over a year ago, and now they're ALL gone. Every single one of them.

Very disappointing, to say the least.

That is so stupid, I thought you can watch clips on youtube of your fav soap opera. I do not understand this at all!! They have ALOT of clips on there of Passions, so why not Days?
Kennylicious
I could understand if Days episodes were for sale on DVD, and the videos on YouTube were threatening Sony's profits... but that's not the case. If anything, the YouTube videos simply help to promote the show and get new viewers acquainted with the characters.

What's the problem with that?!

That's really sad. I liked go there and looking at back s/l that I did remember very will. It would be nice if the NBC broad here would put up this stuff for us to watch here.

My montage hasn't been taken down, but I do had a message from you tube into my mailbox letting me know, someone else claimed the rights of it.

really. It should be interesting to see what happens. I see there a lot of them up yet but it may just be a matter of time before they take them all down. I think montages should be left a lone. Sure they use clips from the show, but it often set to music and you that have done them, have put a lot of time into them.

Yeah, I got that too. I think it's just a chain letter. I haven't sent it to anyone.

This is bad news. I have enjoyed the vintage Days clips on youtube Days fans put up. Don't see why Sony won't let it be. It's like free advertisment for the show!

sad.

They've started taking down things from ''The Office'',''My Name is Earl'', ''SNL'' as well.

How would you find those videos if you did a search? That's how I look for things I want to see. Type in the names of the characters or date of the episodes.

It is indeed sad they are removing all these clips people have uploaded for our viewing pleasure.
