Ok, is anyone else annoyed by the spoiler that says Lucas says he is going to take Ali away from Sami??? That is the stupidest thing I ever heard!!!

How would that custody hearing go???
Lucas: "Yes, judge. I'd like to take my daughter away from my ex-wife. I realize I'm under house arrest at the same dwelling as her, but I'd like permission out of that. And yes I realize that I'm still serving my sentence for attempted murder, but come on...She slept with her husband!!!! Does she beat her? Well, no....but...What?! The case is getting dismissed??"

It's stupid that he thinks that he is even capable of taking Allie away. He's still paying for shooting EJ in the back. They are not going to give a guy on house arrest for attempted murder sole custody of a kid. And unlike Bo and Hope or anyone else on that show with children, you always see Sami and EJ at the house with them. We see the twins in one of their parents arms at lease once a week.

I guess because Grandpa Shawn the permanent baby sitter is now dead and gone, everyone in salem finally has to take care of their own kid lol.

I can't help but agree with gabegirl. Where the heck is Lucas going to go with Ali? What judge is going to give a man who is currently serving a sentance for ATTEMPTED MURDER of the kid's stepfather (and like it or not, that is what he is) full custody of a baby? Maybe a judge in Salem...but that is only in Salem. Like it or not EJ hasn't been convicted of anything. Even the whole FCC thing wasn't criminal, he didn't get arrested or anything. Also, EJ has been very good with Ali. I can understand Lucas wanting to keep him away from his daughter, but the whole plot is silly and has been done with those two TO DEATH!!!!!!

Lucas is brainless. That's how they write him and that's how he is. Taking Ali away is one of many of his pipe dreams and will obviously end in Sami, EJ, Ali and Johnny all leaving him in a cloud of passion dust! Just him being ordered to live at the Dimera mansion is the most redic thing I ever heard. It would make way more sense if he lived with Kate or even Philip. I think they need him back for closure and then I look for him to disappear upstairs at the mansion and never been seen in anything but a glint in Rolf's eyes.

mickey tells us today that lucas will still be considered a convicted felon while he is on house arrest. he hasn't a legal leg to stand on when it comes to taking allie from sami. honestly, if he suggests it to sami, she'd be better off laughing in his face than getting angry or upset.

I think he has every right to Ali, Sami is being stupid sleeping with EJ and then Lucas comes home and sees them.

And yeah, I don't know where he thinks he's going with Ali. He can't even go out in the front yard, LOL. Fresh out of jail for attempted murder, he should feel stupid even thinking someone would give him custody of a child. Not to mention the fact that if he wants to get nasty, Sami has EJ now and they would make his life hell in a custody battle. I could see it going to court and with the fact that there are two fathers for the twins, the judge orders another test to make sure Lucas is Ali's father, and we find out EJ is.

The MOST annoying thing is Lucas coming home. Get ready for the whining. The Ali
statement is so typical Lucas. What no one has even mentioned in this entire
fiasco is that Lucas is so cowardly he shot EJ in the BACK! He didn't even have the
courage to face him. Oh well, I like Bryan I just don't like Lucas. I hope they write
him a really good s/l. I really don't want to return to him b*&*&ing at Sami every day,
watching Sami cry every day and then the tension that will be created by the three of
them in the same house. Now that they've handled the December thing, it's time to
clear the air about the babies and move things along. I want Lucas to meet someone
he absolutely falls instantly in love with and she with him. The problem - how can he
do this if he is under house arrest. How long will they drag this all out?

Well, in all fairness, most women marry a man because they are in love with him, not because their family would possibly be wiped out if they didn't go along with it.

I think it's going to be revealed that Allie is EJ's anyway. It seems like they're going with EJami as the couple, so why would Lucas have any rights to a child that isn't is?? Here's hoping!

Hmmm...felon father under house arrest vs stay at home mother and gainfully employed lawyer step-father. (Neither of whom have been felons in the eyes of the law.) Let's hope Kate bangs the judge if they are lucky enough to get a man or Phillip buys him/her off because that's the only way I see him winning. I understand you really like Lucas's character and your loyalty is admirable but unfortunately, in his current situation, there is no legal way Lucas would be able to win.

Personally, I think that he should take Ali away from Sami, Johnny to for that matter!! I don't find it ridiculous at all..

That's my point. Personal opinions don't hold up in court. Everyone knows the court doesn't take children away from their mothers without a genuine LEGAL reason. Loyalty is great but it won't help Lucas win. He did an incredibly stupid thing (no matter what his reason) and he's in no position to threaten anything except that he's going back to jail because he'd rather be there. If the writers make him a whiner like he was before he left I have to admit I wouldn't be sorry to see him go. I'm hoping they do better with his character this time around. He's been around a long time. It would be nice to like him again.
