That's the urban ninja guy on youtube!! As soon as we saw his silouhette, my kids were yelling like crazy and told me to come on and spread the "monkey virus". whatever that means. My son and his friends are always talking about him. They even jump off houses and pretend to be ninjas. Check this guy out if you haven't seen him. Cool ish.

Sweet Monkey in the House!!!! Got the the EMC Monkey's Rollin through the Gladiator arena. Sweet to See Xin working something Major. Been A fan since AX when he rolled in doing a performance there.

And to the person that asked does he talk. He was talking a lot of trash on the wall. He was saying ohh thats my spot and all that. Watch again you will See!

I don't know... I don't like him very much so far and don't think very highly of him as a Gladiator but maybe that will change if he shows more personality (same for Rocket).

The video with him doing parkour moves is cool but in no way unique, there are many other guys who can do the same thing.

WOW they are making gladiators for specific events only. Yeah Zen rocks the Wall, but what else can he do? Lets run through the likely scenarios of what would happen on:

Powerball: This little asain would get trampled and would be targeted by any bigger contender (i would)

Assault: He would do well but even hellga can do well in this event which says next to NOTHING

Gauntlet: Read 'Powerball' he would get smashed

Joust: The one event contenders would have the advantage

Rocketball: No comment - this event is stupid

Earthquake: He would get tossed faster than a shooting star


Sorry folks for people who watched old gladiators and watch every single (often sad) episode of new gladiators know a gimmick when they see one. Zen you look cool and would probably make it as Jet Li's body double but overall you stink.

Consider this a "please play nice" blurb from the moderators, and a reminder of one of the main forum rules:

Zen is pretty frickin sweet. That crazy stuff he did on the wall was awesome! It's obvious he lacks the strength to do well in events like powerball and pyramid, but the Wall and Rocket Ball seem like the events for him! Go Zen!

My views on Zen....another dominant gladiator on the Wall (ala Rocket).


Limited power, make his value questionable elsewhere though.


Still a decent change of pace, from the giants on the male gladiator team, if not spectacular.

Personally, Zen is a pretty cool dude, but he's so limited it completely turns me off. The example of something similar was Sky of the classic glads. Because the woman was 6' 3" she didn't do well in the Conquer Ring or Joust, but being a Gladiator, she gave it everything she had and it was only her height that kept her from doing well. Zen needs to bulk up, ala Rocket and Jet, and specialize in what's he's naturally good in. While he should strive to be a Jack of All Trades, it will probably not happen so he should try and succeed in being a Master of Some ala Rocket with The Wall. He has potential, but it's painful to watch him right now, IMO.
