As a 3rd year med student, I rarely get any time to sit down and watch anything - let alone watch anything consistently. Las Vegas has been the only show I have ever really cared about. As stupid as it may sound, I was devastated when I heard that it was cancelled.

Why did I like Las Vegas? It makes you feel like you're sitting there with them. It relaxes you. It doesn't require that you think too much about anything. For example, ER, Scrubs, Without a Trace, Law and Order, etc, are all great shows, but I just don't have the patience to watch them after a long day. I'm not interested in following a complex plot, watching someone kill someone, or see anything that reminds me of the awful world we live in. I just want to watch something simple and go to bed.

With that being said, are there any shows out there that are similar to Las Vegas? I saw the thread where everyone is talking about other shows they like. I'm more interested in shows that are similar.

I agree with you Las Vegas was fantastic for that reason. It was a stupid show or demenziale, was not a heavy show was only Las Vegas, you divertivi without falling into stupid or cry for a moment and not for the entire episode (as happens in many serial tv). The NBC does not understand this and it is a pity ... but by their miserable brains what can we expect? None.
