Hello everyone..I am pretty much new to the board and have been reading what everyone has been posting. I love Chelsea and Daniel together; they are pretty much the reason why I have started to watch the show again (plus it is nap time for my twins)! However..I am so disappointed in this upcoming spoiler.

Monday, July 14th
Sami throws a tantrum when she learns about Lucas and Chloe; Daniel tells Kate that Victor's condition is not good; Victor asks Bo to look after Philip; Daniel and Kate agree that Chelsea can never know about their fling; Morgan mentions a letter.

I know it is so disappointing. I am almost in tears over this. Daniel and Chelsea are why I came back to watching DOOL. I love their chemistry, their passion, and this is just breaking my heart. I hate that Chelsea is going to be hurt, but I hope that they can work through this.

I know I am so disappointed. When a good couple comes along(Chelsea & Daniel) they have to do someting to mess it up. I love DANSEA. They are the only reason I started watching DOOL every day on the spot again. Please keep them together. Right now I do not like the writters. DANSEA needs to stay together. Love their chemistry.

I am a little disappointed,but I am used to being screwed over when it comes to my fave couples,sucks,given the whole Nick and Billie thing this may hurt Chelsea more,Higley likes to put new twists on old SL's obviously.

I refuse to worry about this! Daniel and Chelsea absolutely, positively belong together. Period.

I'm gonna put a spin of my own on this temporary bad news: All those hours Daniel spent riding the "denial train".... well, now he's just gonna have to spend even more hours fighting for his woman's forgiveness and love when this finally comes out! And he'll do it too because he now knows what he has and that she's worth fighting for!

So, I'm not worried. In fact, this could be good. Daniel needs to grovel... a lot! And Kate... well, Kate just needs to leave town! No, better yet, Nick isn't dating anyone right now. Go get him Kate!

Agreed! Chelsea will be hurt over this, it's not like her feelings for Daniel were hidden. Both Daniel and Kate knew this, especially Kate. Kate shouldn't have done this to Chelsea, men come and go but this was her grandmother who did this to her. I hope she lets both Daniel and Kate get an earful.

Believe me, I am extremely disappointed as well! I honestly thought they wouldn't go there because Chelsea has already been through that before. Really original storytelling!
And as much as I'm mad at Daniel for this I blame Kate more! She is Chelsea's familiy, she is supposed to protect her from hurt not cause it! And she knew how Chelsea felt from the beginning, she even encouraged her to go after him. Kate's behaviour is inexcusable to me!

But despite all that, I honestly, truly believe that Daniel/Chelsea can get through this although it won't be easy! I refuse to believe anything else!

After a good night sleep, don't get me wrong I am still very, very, upset. But, I am going to stay positive about this. I believe that Daniel does really love Chelsea and that they will make it through this, and make them stronger. I knew that they would have some obstacles, such as the infertility, age, and stuff, but not Kate. I really did not think that they would go down that road again. I hope they have a good reason for doing this, and it pays off for us Daniel and Chesea fans in the end.

Very very well said daydream!!! I think this is going to be a great obstacle for Dansea to overcome. All supercouples have had obstacles and road blocks along the way. We all have to remember he did not cheat on Chelsea as Nick did. That would be way worse. I think this is going to be a very interesting twist in the storyline!! Daniel and Chelsea belong together!! Keep the faith everyone!! True love always wins!

I know this is very disappointing and we all feel hurt and offended that the writers would repeat the same storyline again and have poor chelsea go through the same thing with yet another family member but keep in mind that Chelsea and Daniel will come out strong out of this mayhem and remember TRUE LOVE ALWAYS WINS!!!!!!!!!

Here's my 2 cents. I'm not worried about it. This isn't going to be a permanent break-up.

I think what will happen is that, yes, Chelsea will be upset. Her and Kate's relationship is going to take a beating as it should. Kate should have steered clear but let's face it...she is the town tramp. I'm sorry but I just don't understand why Stephanie (who is called a "*****" time and again by Steph-haters) and Nicole get so much flack when Kate is like the Town's Welcome-Wench.

Now Daniel...yes I am also angry with Daniel but he and Chelsea weren't together before their date. I have seen him be more sincere about them when he asked her out. Like he was giving in sort of. Up until then he has been fighting it. I am not condoning or dismissing what he has done. However if I could put an explanation on it, it would be he didn't WANT to be attracted to Chelsea. He didn't want to fall in love with her. I could imagine him sleeping with another woman to try and "forget her". I don't know when this "fling" happened, but...what if it happened after one of his and Chelsea's make out sessions. He's wound up, incredibly turned on. He wants HER but he won't let himself have her. I wonder if it was Kate because she represents a part of Chelsea. They have the fling and then he uses the excuse to deter Chelsea. Maybe he was on the verge of telling her it was Kate because then Chelsea might leave only he can't tell her because he IS in love with her. He's torn.

But then he realizes that he can't fight it anymore so he gives in, asks Chelsea out on a date and acts on his feelings. I think he was a perfect gentleman with her.

When Chelsea finds out, she is going to flip her lid. I think this is going to make Daniel want to pursue her even MORE, you know? Like commit ALL of himself just to get her back. Really go the distance. Like he just "gave in" before for their date. Now he's going to know what he really wants. He wants HER and he's going to do everything in his power to get her back. This "fling" might be a GOOD thing.

And let's face it. If Chelsea can get over Nick & Billie, I think she will eventually get over Daniel and Kate. At least that's what I am hoping.

Exactly! Kate is Chelsea's grandmother and was well aware of Chelsea's feelings for Daniel which is why I am even more disgusted with her actions. I can see Hope coming to Chelsea's aid when Chelsea finds out about Kate's fling with Daniel.

I think Daniel and Chelsea will get through this, but not before Chelsea gives Daniel and Kate a piece of her mind. Poor Chelsea, she didn't deserve to go through this again.

Well in every life there must be some rain...we knew this could be coming. I am actually anxious to see it play out. Finally Daniel will have to fight for Chelsea...will have to work to make her see they are meant to be. Just like she had to do for him the first time.

So even though I wish this rehash story was not being done, I think we will like the end results. I know many fans want to see Daniel prove his love. This is his chance.

We got a glimpse of his tenacity when he stood up to Victor. Now let's see how he handles all of CHelsea's family when the "fling" stuff comes out. He will have one hell of a fight. But love will prevail...so I am rooting for him.

LOL yeah the writers were not on their A game when they came up with this one. But maybe there is some method to this madness.

It will be interesting to see how much Daniel is willing to fight for Chelsea. I think what they have is strong enough to withstand this.

In many ways The relationship has been easy for him He didn't have to really try to get Chelsea she fell for him. He can fight to keep Her.

I think that I might be beyond disappointed. I know that there has to be obstacles, and I wouldn't have liked this one very much no matter what. I feel my disappointment really lies, not with the heartbreak of Chelsea, or the strain on the relationship, but the complete lack of originality of the storyline. It isn't like this story was done to someone else 20 years ago, it was done a year ago to the same character.

Having said that, I agree that something really good could come out of it for our couple. Hopefully the writers will redeem themselves and play this out differently. I think that how and when Chelsea finds out should be more dramatic. Daniel fighting for the love of his life could be an excellent romantic story. This couple has such amazing raw chemistry it would be such a waste to not follow it all the way to the end.

And I am all aboard the train that sends Kate out of Salem for good. I think Billie has an extra room at her flat in London

Don't be worried, Daniel and Chelsea will prevail. He truly loves Chelsea it just took him a while to admit that and now he has. He made a mistake and now he will have to fight for her, which is a good thing.

I agree with wat everyone is saying have like daniel would say "no worries" LOL they will make it through this it will be just a stone in the path that will be removed!! Plus we get to see Daniel pine and chase and grovel for Chelsea which to me is very refreshing and a nice change to the tune we've been dancing to!! I cant wait for the week of the 21st on the 24th they share an amazing dance under the stars!!!!!

I am sorry, but I dont get where kate thinks she can tell Chelsea what to do. She tells her to stay away from Daniel. kate needs to stay away from him.I am so happy they dance under the stars that is so sweet.I hope he fights for her when Chelsea finds out cause they are wonderful together.

I really think the writers have a hit with this couple - I just hope they don't ruin the fantastic transformation of Chelsea by forcing her to accept/forgive too much in the name of love.... Dr. Dan is great and all but I don't care how hot/sweet/fantastic he is... if he was sleeping with my granny while kissing me I'd be forever repulsed. Please please please writers... use a "fling" for angst if you must but don't take it too far.... Please.

I agree. Not real happy that we are rehashing what they've already done with Nick and Billie, but I can't wait to see Daniel chase Chelsea and show her how much he loves her. She deserves to be sought after, adored and loved and I think Daniel is the guy that can do it. They have done such a great job with this couple and I think we have a wonderful summer ahead. Kate is such a hypocrite. She's was one of the biggest supporters for Daniel and Chelsea becoming a couple now because she had a fling with Daniel and things didn't work out, all of a sudden it's Chelsea stay away from Daniel. Chelsea, Daniel will hurt you. Chelsea, your relationship with him is inappropriate. Oh I hope the truth about what she did comes out soon, so Chelsea can lay into her for what she's done. I'm not saying Daniel is without blame but I am just frustrated with what Kate has done to her granddaughter

Thank you Chelsea for sticking up for yourself. I mean seriously she looked at Kate like she had lost her mind, which in fact she has. How on earth does she believe that she can march over to Bo and Hope's house and tell Chelsea to break off a relationship w/ any guy right now. Does she hear herself? Like she was Hitler or something. How ridiculous. Having said that - the scene where Daniel turns and looks at Chelsea (who I swear had tears in her eyes) was completely gut wrenching. These two can light up the screen w/o saying a word. They connect so well with just their eyes and body language.

True Love came over come anything and I believe that Daniel and Chelsea will be true love.
