Daniel and Chelsea walk hand and hand through Bo and Hope's house, Chelsea's glad Daniel's here but Daniel knows not everyone will feel the way Chelsea does (meaning her dad). Chelsea's not worried and wants to go outside, but Daniel tells her to wait takes her hands puts them on his shoulders and asks for a kiss for good luck, she kisses him

Bo is with Caroline, they wonder where Chelsea is. Bo sees her come outside with her date, Daniel! Daniel decides to get a beer before he meets Bo, Daniel and Chelsea run into Victor. Chelsea goes and hugs him, they've missed each other. Chelsea tells Victor that Daniel is her date for tonight, Victor's mood immediately changes and he asks to speak to Daniel alone!

Chelsea goes and sits aside, when Bo comes over saying it's apparent he's not the only one with reservations of her dating Daniel. Chelsea says they're both adults, not hurting anyone but Bo says he thinks Daniel will hurt her. Chelsea gets upset and walks off, Hope wants to go after her but Bo says he will go. Hope asks that he go easy on her. Doug remembers going through that with Hope, but everything turned out well. Caroline said that's true but Bo and Hope didn't have to deal with Victor!

Victor is with Daniel, lecturing him for not telling him about dating Chelsea. Daniel says Victor was right there when he asked Chelsea out, but Victor didn't think anything of it. Daniel says it's not like they're getting married, Victor says knowing you I believe that's true. Victor says Daniel is like family and is very fond of him but he doesn't think Daniel is good relationship material for his granddaughter, Daniel asks with all due respect who are you to be lecturing me about relationships? Daniel then apologizes. Daniel says he has no intentions of hurting Chelsea and this is only their second date and he has no intentions of it being their last!

Bo and Chelsea are in the living room, Bo apologizes for upsetting her. Chelsea understands Bo's concerns but doesn't believe Daniel will hurt her. Chelsea says her relationship with him feels right and she really likes him. Chelsea brings up what Bo and Hope went through to be together, so Bo realizes he has to back off. Chelsea says don't back off too much because of Daniel does hurt her, Bo will be there to kick his butt! Bo and Chelsea hug

The lights go out, Chelsea lights candles while Bo looks for a flashlight. Daniel and Hope come in the living room, Hope and Bo go to check the fuse box leaving Daniel and Chelsea alone. Chelsea asks about his conversation with Victor, and him just being concerned but Daniel is not worried. They kiss, just as the fireworks begin

Bo and Hope are by the fusebox, talking about his conversation with Chelsea. Bo says he won't hurt Daniel if Daniel doesn't hurt his daughter!

Chelsea and Daniel come outside, it's still dark. They start kissing again, the lights come back on and everyone sees them kiss. Hope covers Bo's eyes!

Next - Kate walks in and sees Chelsea and Daniel still kissing, she faints

Wasn't this episode great? I loved it! Daniel is really serious about Chelsea, it showed during his conversation with Victor. Too bad Kate has to ruin things!

The 4th of July episode was great! I loved the talk between Chelsea/Bo and Daniel/Victor! I'm glad that they don't let anybody else talk them out of what they want!
On a side note, their chemistry just gets better and better!

I am so happy that Daniel and Chelsea are being up front and honest about the relationship they are building.
